GGuest UserFor a four-star hotel, the pillows is too bad, uncomfortable, maybe because it's the cheapest room? The toilet flushing noise is kinda loud, but it's quiet room after all. No electric kettle in the room, 2 euros for 1L mineral water. Nothing else to complain about. Clean and tidy, staff are friendly and professional, good service.

The rooms were nice and spacious with nice balconies on a great location. The rooms could use a renovation and be better cleaned especially in more hidden places like under the bed. The hairdryer overheated easily. The breakfast is good and varied and the staff is the best part of the hotel, super friendly!

The hotel is located just outside of old Funchal which was about 10 minutes drive away. There are lots of good restaurants near by and nearest beach is appropriately 7-10minutes walk down from the hotel. Good breakfast options. Nice location for a sunset view from the outdoor pool area.

SsfoxonA lovely Hotel, with a high level of service and a great restaurant an amenities. The location is only good for those willing to taxi or drive to Funchal- otherwise it is a 30-35minite walk, allow more time for the way back all uphill. The decor of the rooms is dated- very 1990s in style, the carpet is wearing thin in places. The pool side area is nice but could benefit from a modernization to make the decor match the level of service. Can't fault the stay otherwise. Shout out to Sandra, the Maitre 'd, D for her amazing level of service. Obregado!
