Dorisol Mimosa Studio Hotel

We booked a 3-star hotel and pretty much got what we expected. The breakfast buffet was plentiful, but since two Dorisol hotels share the same dining area, it felt more like a step up from a youth hostel. 7:30 AM for breakfast is too late for hikers. The staff, however, were generally very friendly and accommodating. The 120 steps up to reception were a bit of a trek. You have to reserve for the indoor pool (!), but the pool itself is too shallow for swimming, the massage jets were broken, and the hot tub was cold and barely bubbling – completely forgettable. The room was dated, with mold in the shower corners of the bathroom, but the beds were good. We booked an ocean view, and from our 8th-floor room, it was more of a 'tree-view' – you could glimpse the sea past a tree, which felt like a rip-off. About 30 meters behind the hotel, there's a private house with 12 dogs that start barking from 6 AM. Very, very annoying. The fridge didn't close properly due to ice build-up, causing water to pool in the room, which I fixed myself. Conclusion: not recommended.

Everything was ok. Breakfast was somewhat limited but had the essentials. The staff were very friendly.

The indoor pool was closed for renovations and there was construction in the hallway, resulting in a lot of noise from 8 am. The breakfast buffet was well-stocked. The cleaning staff was very friendly. Climbing the 130 steps to reach the hotel at the end of the day was tiring.
