Guest UserThis time I chose the Dusit Thani Princess Hotel in Malacca, Malaysia. Since I took a long-distance bus from Kuala Lumpur to Malacca, I arrived at the hotel after 3 PM. At the front desk, the staff upgraded me to a room on a higher floor and gave me a 50 MYR dining voucher. I immediately went to the Western restaurant on the first floor and filled my stomach with warm pasta and a vegetable salad, which was incredibly heartwarming. The room was quite spacious with a great view, overlooking the scenery of Malacca, with the Malacca River below. It's a five-minute drive to the Red Square (Dutch Square), the lively Jonker Street, and other main attractions like the A Famosa ruins. The breakfast offered a rich mix of Chinese and Western dishes. The staff member, Joey, even patiently helped me download a ride-hailing app, which was very thoughtful. This hotel left me with wonderful memories and is highly recommended!

SixiangdehudieHotels in Malacca generally seem a bit old and dated. The Courtyard by Marriott, however, is relatively new. There aren't many dining or entertainment options right around the hotel, so you'll need to venture out. It's about a 20-minute walk to Jonker Street (Red House area). The hotel facilities are modern and well-maintained, and the rooms are quite spacious. Luckily, there wasn't any strange smell, making for a comfortable and smart stay, and the TV even has screen mirroring. Since I was traveling with my middle school-aged daughter, I booked two rooms and requested connecting rooms, which the hotel arranged perfectly. The connecting door could be opened, making it feel like a suite, and it was very convenient as we each had our own space for showering and such. The hot water in the shower was excellent, but surprisingly, the bathtub in the king room was a bit impractical, with water splashing everywhere. The room has direct drinking water, which we used to boil water for tea. The front desk staff were quite friendly and allowed us a 1-hour late check-out. We didn't try the breakfast as we wanted to eat at Jonker Street. We also didn't get a chance to experience the pool, which we heard was great, due to time constraints. Behind the hotel seems to be an apartment building, and one evening, we passed by and saw about seven or eight dogs barking and chasing two guests who were casually strolling – quite a fright! A warning: avoid the dog territory behind the hotel.

SerenisyafyHARGA BILIK & PENDAFTARAN MASUK
Tiada deposit yg mahal lagi mengarut dikenakan.
BILIK
Sesuai dengan harga, bilik lengkap dengan katil berserta tilam yg empuk. TV ada Netflix, Youtube, AppleTV, Prime and so on.
SARAPAN
Overall, The Lisbon Melaka boleh menjadi hotel mesra keluarga jika The Lisbon kekal menjaga kualiti sampai bila². Repeat? definitely yes. Moga maju jaya buat The Lisbon Melaka

ShizibeishuangziyueThe bathroom was long and narrow, and the room decor was a bit dated. The sink didn't drain well. Breakfast, however, was quite plentiful. The front desk is on the 3rd floor. It has a Muslim style, and many Malay guests stay here. There's a hospital and Parkson nearby, and a money changer diagonally opposite. It's a 20-minute, 10 MYR taxi ride to the main tourist attractions around Dutch Square.

Anonymous UserLocated in a town area therefore convenient with easy access to nearby amenities
Room was spacious and comfortable which made the stay more relaxing
The highlight was the TV sport channel. Very enjoyable as it coincided with the World Cup season. Will be more entertaining if have TV in the room too.
Breakfast was served buffet-style with an adequate selection of food options. Not extensive but sufficient and satisfying
Overall had a pleasant staycation

Guest UserThis hotel isn't too far from Jonker Street, nor is it too close; it's quite near Dataran Pahlawan. A great and affordable dining option nearby is Family Corner. The hotel is very comfortable, with a swimming pool and a gym. All the in-room facilities worked well. The only downside is the carpeted floor, which can be a bit inconvenient as carpets are prone to getting dirty. Service was good.

Juliana TohPlace is very clean, maybe because the hotel is new. Facilities are in very good condition.
We drive so we do not mind the location, and there are shopping and F&B within both walking and driving distances.
However, we booked for 4, only received 2 bottles of water, 2 towels and 2 dental kits. We had to call for the balance which took an hour to be sent to the room. 1 toilet roll was given for the entire family which was also insufficient. This took another half an hour to be sent to us. We tried to offer to collect, but was told housekeeping will send.
Aircon compressor was situated right next to room wall, so we were hearing the compressor going on and off the entire night.
There's construction nearby but no noise pollution, probably due to it being a weekend.
Do note that public can use the lift up to rooms level as well, access card is not required to unlock the room levels.
Hotel lobby was extremely hot in the afternoon as it faced the west. There were no curtains or blinds that could be used to shield the staff and guests from the blinding sun.
Looking forward to the hotel improving on its service levels and lobby comfort.

Overall, the experience was acceptable
the ocation was convenient about a 10-15 minute ride to the city centre, which made getting around quite easy.
However, there were several issues during our stay
Cleanliness: We noticed some smallinsects on the floor. While it didn't significantly affect aur stay, it would be better if the rooms could be more thoroughly checked and cleaned.
Customer Service: All communication had to be done online through WhatsApp, as there was no face-to-face front desk service. This was quite unconventional and sometimes made things less convenient when we needed assistance urgently.
Room Equipment: One of the air conditioners in our room kept switching on and off by itself and wasn't functioning properly. Even more concerning, the hairdryer had a short circuit, produced a burning smell, and even sparked flames. This was a frightening experience, and although it was eventually replaced, waiting a full day for such a serious issue was very disappointing.

jaybbThe good... location is near malls, can walk to heritage sites for tourists, price is not expensive, nearby bus terminal at Hatten Hotel. Good for just sleeping and then do your sightseeing. Aircon works, fridge also halfway there. Plenty of food options all around, convenience stores for your needs.
The bad... dated. While it is still relatively clean, the rooms feel dilapidated. Floors are peeling off, curtains torn, windows cannot fully close off, lights dim. I've found too many bagworms that I've given up on throwing them away - in the cabinet, in toilet.
So, if you don't mind all these and just need an affordable place to sleep, this hotel can be an option. If you are those tai-tai who expects high crass place, look elsewhere. Note: Carpark is linked to hotel at Level 2 & 3.
