"Stayed overnight. Service was good. Got free cendol following their social media accounts in Instagram and Facebook.
Car parking is limited. Room has very small window. Might be claustrophobic to some. Sound proofing was not very good. You can hear people walking in the hallway and even the preparation in the restaurant area (We stayed in room 122 and it was the first room you see right after the door in the ground floor). Mobile data is hard to access inside the rooms as well. They do provide wifi but inside the room was quite slow. Water pressure is quite not strong as I preferred but tolerable. Breakfast has limited choices but all were good. Especially the kuihs. We got welcome drinks and snack when we checked in.
Location was really goodand is easy to drive to. Jonker Walk was indeed walkable.
Over-all the stay overnight was okay. But I recommend to book rooms with windows đ

"Overall, my stay at the hotel was average. The room service was good and the food was delicious. However, there are a few areas that could be improved. The shower takes quite a long time to get hot, which leads to unnecessary water wastage while waiting. In addition, the TV signal was quite poor and a bit frustrating, especially when thereâs not much else to do while relaxing in the room. I hope the hotel can improve these aspects to provide a more comfortable experience in the future"

"The location is incredibly convenient. Just downstairs and around the corner, there are so many food options within walking distance â you'll never go hungry, even without a car. LLady CelI promise this review is honest and unfiltered... This was my first stay in Malacca, and Iâm so grateful for this newly renovated hotel that gave us a sense of safety and comfort. We ended up extending our stay by 2 more nights because we loved Malacca so much, for a total of 4 nights. Hereâs my overall feedback, hope it helps anyone coming to Malacca:
- The hotel is in a great location, seemingly in a Chinese area with no run-down surroundings. Itâs only about 2+ km to Jonker Street, super closeâGrab rides cost just a few ringgit. Taxis are easy to get, and there are bell staff at the entrance who can help with anything you need.
- The renovation is new, easily 4-star standard, and really comfortable. Clean, fresh, with all the essentials. Rooms with balconies are amazingâmy partner could smoke freely, just remember to close the windows to follow hotel rules. There are waiting sofas in every floor corridor, which is really thoughtful, plus air purifiers and air coolers too.
- Downstairs thereâs a seafood restaurant, a Western bar, a noodle shop, a Sichuan restaurant, and even a Chaoshan beef hot pot place. We tried almost all of them, and theyâre all pretty good. The fish at the seafood restaurant was excellentâpricier, but worth it for the quality.
- The hotel service is the part I need to comment on. Itâs inconsistentâsome staff are lovely, others lack service awareness. For example, there was a Malay bellboy who was always cheerful and helped open doors every day. But the front desk staff were sometimes unenthusiastic, and calls to them werenât always smooth. The staff at the pool also werenât very friendly.
- Breakfast is okay! The butter should really be replaced with animal-based butter đ§!
If the hotel is open to feedback, please improve the front desk and overall service to match the standard set by the friendly bellboy.

Room was nicely furnished although a bit worn but adequately clean. Bed was comfortable, with a good selection of hard & soft pillows. Had a good nightâs sleep. Housekeeping could do a better maintenance job: wall socket at kettle coffee/tea making area was not working, graffiti on door between rooms should be cleaned.
Probably because our rooms were right at the end of a corridor, shower water pressure was inconsistent alternating between scalding hot & cold. I
Other than those minor gripes a very good value

CCubieThe location is great, just a few doors away from the BaBa House which just happen to be a lot more renovated and furnished and they charged $250 for the same period i stayed in at Hereen Palm Suites which cost me $105 via Trip.com. It is just 3 minutes walk to Jonker Street and is on the quieter side so you dont get bothered by car traffic and human yet is convenient enough to all the shops and eateries.
The whole place has only 10 suites and the rooms are HUGE and clean. Bathroom is huge and water pressure is great and heater works very well, if i am to be picky, it will be complete if they have a bathtub and they should install some toilet hangers for the clothes when you shower.
The room aircon is via concealed vents , so its well distributed compared to a standalone FCU unit. Aside from teh bed there is also a daybed in the room, which is comfy and great for lazing and watching the TV.
The only flaw i can pick is the mini fridge was not working in my room.
Outside of the room, i wish they can open the window in the common area/ corridor, as all the internal space are really not ventiated and they dont turn on the A/C, so you cannot really enjoy the common spaces.
Overall, its super value for money and breakfast provided was quite good spread and tasty enough, no complains given that its complimentary.
I would give it 8/10 rating.

CChuxiadexingfushiguangAmbience: The environment was decent, and the room was quite spacious. However, I could hear motorcycle noises late into the night, until about 2 AM.
Cleanliness: The room was cleaned well, but the bath towels looked very old and a bit discolored. If you're particular about that, I'd suggest bringing your own.
Service: There were no disposable slippers in the room, so I called the front desk. They brought them up in about half an hour, which I was told is a normal response time in Malacca.
Summary: It's suitable for a one-night stopover.

the ocation was convenient about a 10-15 minute ride to the city centre, which made getting around quite easy.
However, there were several issues during our stay
Cleanliness: We noticed some smallinsects on the floor. While it didn't significantly affect aur stay, it would be better if the rooms could be more thoroughly checked and cleaned.
Customer Service: All communication had to be done online through WhatsApp, as there was no face-to-face front desk service. This was quite unconventional and sometimes made things less convenient when we needed assistance urgently.
Room Equipment: One of the air conditioners in our room kept switching on and off by itself and wasn't functioning properly. Even more concerning, the hairdryer had a short circuit, produced a burning smell, and even sparked flames. This was a frightening experience, and although it was eventually replaced, waiting a full day for such a serious issue was very disappointing.
