Shota @ Rustaveli Boutique Hotel

Amazing

The hotel's location is very convenient, right next to the Parliament building. It's up a small slope, so it's quiet. The room was spacious, and they provided water and basic toiletries. It was cleaned daily, and the front desk was always quick to address any issues. The breakfast selection wasn't huge, but it was sufficient. You could order omelets and coffee, and I always left feeling full. It was pretty good and exceeded my expectations!

Excellent hotel, stylish and new. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, with soft and cozy beds. Daily cleaning and complimentary bottled water are provided. The breakfast buffet is good. There's a self check-in and check-out kiosk. The bar staff are very helpful and will even provide ice upon request. A minor drawback is the lack of a mini-fridge and tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms, but these are small details. It's a bit far from the metro and the city center, but for the price, the location is excellent, with shops nearby.

We had a wonderful stay at Mercure Tbilisi Philharmonic. The hotel’s location is excellent—right next to the Tbilisi Concert Hall and within easy reach of the city center, restaurants, and attractions. It’s both convenient and quiet. The rooms are modern, spacious, and very clean, with comfortable beds and thoughtful amenities. Everything felt well-maintained and stylish, reflecting the Mercure brand quality. The staff truly stood out: friendly, professional, and always ready to help with recommendations or requests. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. Breakfast was varied and fresh, offering both local and international options. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is calm and welcoming, making it ideal for both business and leisure stays. I would definitely recommend Mercure Tbilisi Philharmonic and would happily stay here again.

The hotel has a great location, is very clean, and offers a rich breakfast with plenty of vegetables. The room was a bit small, but the mattress was very comfortable. The hotel also has a strong awareness of environmental protection.

No refunds allowed, everyone please read carefully. Even canceling three days in advance is not possible. Don't book if you have travel plans or are likely to change them. Ctrip intervened multiple times to communicate, but the hotel refused to provide a room. Ctrip unilaterally compensated me 200 yuan; it was a booking that cost over 600 yuan. I don't recommend traveling here in the short term either. There are protests everywhere, and you might even get hit by tear gas. Safety first. There's also a recent mayoral change.

The hotel is new and clean, and having a pool is a plus. The breakfast boasts a magnificent city view, but the food selection itself is limited. The à la carte menu was hidden under the bar counter; we only discovered it once out of four breakfasts and were very surprised! No staff member even offered to take our order. The staff are all young and English-speaking, but not very friendly, and the housekeepers don't greet guests. There's no porter service; I was with my mother and children, and no one helped us with our luggage to the room. We weren't offered a welcome drink; again, we found it ourselves at the bar. Everything was DIY – we had to ask for bathrobes and dental kits ourselves, as nothing was provided in the room. We stayed on the second floor, with windows overlooking a mini market that starts making noise, shouting, unloading goods, and honking from 6 AM. I do not recommend it! Get a room with windows facing the courtyard instead! We won't be staying here a second time; it was a complete failure.

The room was spacious and had a balcony, which was great for smoking without having to go downstairs. Parking was free and there were plenty of spots. The only downside was the breakfast, which was a bit bland and not very tasty. The hotel's location isn't in the old town, so it's ideal if you're driving. However, Tbilisi traffic is incredibly congested, and parking near the old streets is really expensive – it cost me about 70-80 RMB for an afternoon.

Ramada by Wyndham Tbilisi Old City

I am happy with my stay at the Ramada. I really liked the hammam and the steam room, it was really relaxing. The room is clean, there are slippers, bath accessories, tea, coffee, water. It was warm in January. The bed is large and quite soft. The staff is polite, especially thanks to Saba S. at the hotel's reception, who helped solve the problem. The jacuzzi is small but cozy and relaxing, there is an indoor pool working in winter, a gym. The location allows to go to the city center by feet, getting to know the city, but also there was no any problems to go to metro station nearby and take a taxi. I would come back here again.

There were both pros and cons to our stay. Pros: Beautiful interior Clean and well-cleaned every day All necessary amenities are provided: slippers, robes, shampoos, toothbrushes, etc. Spacious room Plenty of hangers and closets Excellent pool, sauna, and gym with a wide selection of exercise machines and equipment Air conditioning in the room Cons: Far from all the attractions, on a mountain The view from the window was of a garbage dump There's construction in front of the hotel, so there's no beautiful view anywhere On the second day, there was no water in the room, and the staff told us to drink from the tap. But they corrected this the next day. The phone in the room didn't work (the call button was for reception), so we had to go to reception with any questions. Few of the staff speak Russian, and they apparently don't understand English well either, as they gave false information several times. Overall, the hotel is ok if you have a car and if you rent it for the price I did (~$100 per night for a two-bedroom room).

Meta Business Hotel by King David

Positive aspects: The hotel is newly opened, and the room itself is clean and well-maintained. Housekeeping is flawless – towels are changed daily, they are clean and in good condition. The bed is comfortable, Wi-Fi works reliably, and the climate control is adequate (neither stuffy nor too warm). The room is equipped with a TV, though the channel selection is limited (no movie channels such as TV1000). Standard amenities are provided: bottled water, slippers, and bathroom toiletries (mini-soap, shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel), although body lotion, toothbrush, and toothpaste were not available. Breakfast is quite basic, but all items are fresh. I would also like to acknowledge the staff member who quickly resolved an issue with a steamer – she was smiling, friendly, and efficient. 1. Check-in experience and guest information: Upon arrival, there was no warm welcome, no escort to the room, and no luggage assistance. No in-room information was provided regarding Wi-Fi access, hotel services, bar prices, or the schedule of the conference (timing and location). All of this had to be inquired about separately after check-in. Additionally, the front desk had difficulty locating my reservation, which caused unnecessary delay. I stayed at this hotel to attend a conference that lasted from early morning until late evening. Unfortunately, instead of a good rest, I had a terrible experience that completely ruined my stay. 2/ Security issue (a nightmare at night): At around 3 a.m., while I was fast asleep before an important day, strangers walked into my room without any prior notice – they opened the door with their own key card. They were just as shocked to see me as I was to see them. Imagine waking up to find unknown people in your private space. Not only is this a serious breach of security and privacy, but a little while later I was woken up again – this time by a receptionist who came to personally apologize for the earlier intrusion. Instead of handling this in the morning or at least calling first, they woke me up a second time. I couldn't fall back asleep afterwards, and I had to get up very early. 3/ Staff response (dismissive and unhelpful): In the morning, I went to the front desk to ask how this could have happened and what the hotel was willing to offer as compensation for my ruined sleep and emotional distress. The female receptionist gave me a cold, cynical reply: ”We already apologized to you – what more do you want?” and ”You didn't sleep? That's your problem. We said sorry.” This attitude is completely unacceptable in the hospitality industry. She made no effort to understand the situation, offered no solution (be it a discount, a complimentary service, or even basic human empathy). For them, a formal ”sorry” seems to be a free pass for any mistake. Conclusion: This hotel cannot guarantee the most basic things – your safety and a good night's sleep. And the staff clearly don't know how to handle guest complaints except with arrogance and indifference. You cannot get back the sleep you lost at 3 a.m., and the feeling of insecurity stayed with me for the rest of my stay. I cannot recommend this hotel to business travelers or tourists alike. If you value your peace of mind, decent service, and actual safety – look elsewhere. Apologies don't replace quality rest, and the staff attitude here is truly disappointing.
