Excellent location beside the parliament. The hotel staff are very responsive and helpful to requests. The hotel design is artistic and minimalist. It would suit people who want to stay in a heritage building, be within walking distance to restaurants, shopping area, and tour bus pick up spots. The room is extremely spacious.

Guest UserStayed with friends, the room was comfortable and modern. It was clean, and there's a store nearby which is quite convenient. Breakfast had a small selection, but all the basic necessities were there. The staff were friendly.

Guest UserI love this hotel for its proximity to the sulfur baths and thermal spa, where you can enjoy a full range of treatments, as well as for the delicious breakfasts (which, by the way, are good everywhere in Georgia) and comfortable beds. Narikala Fortress and the magnificent Botanical Garden are also very close by.

IAV74I have a very mixed filling about this hotel.
I’ll start with positives: it is very new, well located, nice rooms with great view if you have a cathedral side. We were at a family room which was roomy but not oversized though. Cleaning was good and rather efficient. Good location to reach all Tbilisi attractions. Street stalls around and some 24/7 shops allow to get fruits, snacks and wine (if you want). There is a nice small swimming pool on the roof which is a great spot for a dip after a hot day or in the morning.
Now to details which realy make the place or ruin it … this time these are fatal (imho) faults unfortunately:
Started with check in. The staff acts as if they are paid not to smile or show any welcome … i was unpleasantly surprised when after all paperwork was done I was asked to pay though my room was fully paid in advance. Funny that I have checked in online following advice I received in e-mail from Novotel which said that I will have just to pick my keys and go … never happened ))))
Now to the room: No sitting space - just on armchair and that is the room for a family (!), no working desk. Large balcony with a view but not any chair to sit and enjoy. USB sockets are plenty but not working (informed the staff about that a few times but never got it fixed or explained that they were out of order). A/C leaks slightly and there is a permanent water spot on the floor (not large and not a big deal though). A huge issue is that there are absolutely no hooks, rails or hangers for towels, drying swim wear etc. just one lonely knob on the wall where apparently you have to place all towels for 3 people ! At some point I was about to call GM to ask him personally to advise my on a place where I and my folks can dry our swim wear ))))
Service is strange … at 10 pm I was informed that no room-service is available at this time and I have to help myself with getting my wine bottle opened and staffing my room with glasses and ice (things available just on call even at 3 star properties).
Breakfasts are very limited in choice we decided to skip and used a nice cafe just few steps up the road. I was surprised that even capuchino is at extra price (!). You can have only omelet to order. If your breakfast is not included - check for some other place (there are a few in close proximity).
Pool: it is nice, however no sun shades. Changing rooms are also lacking any (!) hungers - if you take a shower your bathrobe and towel can only be placed on a bench. And no hair dryers (not to speak of swim wear dryers).
Last but not least, though the hotel is centrally located expect a doubtful surrounding as there is a sort of market around with street stalls etc. No places for a nice dinner or a night out in a closest proximity so you better return to the hotel just to get in and sleep.
Though the hotel claims 2 bars to be working within the property in reality there are none … the lobby bar was always empty (never saw a bartender there). The bar on the 5th floor is poorly designed, unwelcoming and is more a breakfast room rather than a location to relax. Asked for a asked of beer and received a bottle (for self-openning) and a glass just over counter (no service what do ever). I doubt that the staff which is not very professional in oppening a wine bottle can make a cocktail well …
As a conclusion we have that at the price of a 5 star you are lacking: service, room comfort, dining and drinking options, properly equipped facilities, leaving to with just location (though doubtful) and new property (which is evaporating day after day).
I wish Novotel of which I am a true evangelist will find this comment of mine and fix the case of Novotel Tbilisi to bring it to a true high standards of the brand .…
I am sure it is overall a GM’s fault as it is his/her duty to oversee all the guest experience and constantly fix every detail.
For now I do not recommend this hotel and will not return.

A really great hotel! The front desk was helpful and could exchange coins for me. Early check-in costs extra, but the croissants at breakfast were delicious, and the room was very clean!

Jieni0630The hotel room was quite spacious, but the facilities were a bit old, especially the bedding which was somewhat yellowed. The hotel's location is pretty good, situated in a bustling area with many restaurants and shops nearby. However, you'll need to take a taxi to reach the main attractions. There's a subway station a few hundred meters away, which is just one stop from Freedom Square. The hotel is located next to a main avenue with heavy traffic, so it can be a bit noisy at night. When checking in, try to request a room facing the inner courtyard. The front desk service was excellent, and the breakfast was decent.

We were very satisfied with our stay at Museum Hotel Tbilisi. The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance to all the main attractions of Old Tbilisi. The room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable. Breakfast offered a good variety and was delicious. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. The combination of historical atmosphere with modern comfort makes this hotel special. If we return to Tbilisi, we will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to everyone.

Guest UserA good Hilton Garden Inn Tbilisi Riverview hotel.
**Location:** A bit removed from the main attractions, about a 15-20 minute walk to Rike Park. You can get to a bus stop or metro station and go wherever you need. Taxis are also readily available.
**Cleanliness:** Excellent.
**Service:** Polite staff who explain and show you everything. I arrived early and paid for an early check-in. Since my room on the upper floor wasn't ready, they offered a temporary option so I could rest after my journey.
**Amenities and Services:** Overall, the room had everything, but I noted a few nuances: no dental kits (it wasn't a big deal for me, so I didn't ask), bathrobes were brought after a call, and on the second day, there was no bottled water, which was then brought. Also, there was a leak from the faucet, creating puddles near the bathroom door – the plumbing needs to be checked.
**Food:** I had breakfast and enjoyed everything.
Overall, the internal management, design, and atmosphere of Hilton feel high-quality, and I recommend the hotel. However, the constant requests/calls to bring things were a bit annoying (I had read reviews before booking, and similar comments were already there). In all my years of business trips and travels, this was the first time I'd encountered this. The hotel definitely needs to address these service and amenity issues – after all, it's an international hotel chain.

Overall, my impression of the stay was mixed. The hotel appears insufficiently thought out in terms of comfort, although there are some positive aspects.
There are no shelves in the shower for basic toiletries, and the bathroom lacks drawers and shelves for storing personal items. There is also no makeup mirror. The beds are movable, the safe is not fixed to the wall, and there is no soft headboard. The hair dryer is weak, and the desk is very small. There is no smart lighting system or automatic air-conditioning mode. The bathroom floor is cold, and the mirror is positioned opposite the bed, which I personally found uncomfortable.
My request for drinking water was fulfilled only after 45 minutes. There are no service labels on the in-room telephone.
It is unclear how a hotel with a five-star rating can operate without a gym. The advertised SPA, in reality, is a jacuzzi for 6–8 people with unusual lighting.
The staff generally appeared unfriendly, especially in the restaurant. Beverages are not offered during breakfast; guests must approach the bar themselves to order coffee. Cocoa is available for an additional fee of 15 GEL. Breakfasts are generally good; however, the chef uses onions quite extensively, including in salads and other dishes, which may not suit all guests.
On the positive side, I received a room upgrade due to the unavailability of the booked room category, as well as a pleasant birthday greeting from the hotel.
The hotel may be suitable for short stays without high expectations; however, improvements in service and room facilities would significantly enhance the level of comfort.

Guest UserThere were both pros and cons to our stay.
Pros:
Beautiful interior
Clean and well-cleaned every day
All necessary amenities are provided: slippers, robes, shampoos, toothbrushes, etc.
Spacious room
Plenty of hangers and closets
Excellent pool, sauna, and gym with a wide selection of exercise machines and equipment
Air conditioning in the room
Cons:
Far from all the attractions, on a mountain
The view from the window was of a garbage dump
There's construction in front of the hotel, so there's no beautiful view anywhere
On the second day, there was no water in the room, and the staff told us to drink from the tap. But they corrected this the next day.
The phone in the room didn't work (the call button was for reception), so we had to go to reception with any questions.
Few of the staff speak Russian, and they apparently don't understand English well either, as they gave false information several times.
Overall, the hotel is ok if you have a car and if you rent it for the price I did (~$100 per night for a two-bedroom room).
