Net Red Hotel is in a good location. It is just out of the Plaza de Espana subway station, but the premise is that the subway exit must be right. The rooms are Scandinavian style, simple and comfortable, well-equipped and comfortable bedding. There is a kettle and slippers, and welcome snacks on the first day of stay. However, the breakfast experience is very bad. For 19 euros, the main meals and hot food must be ordered according to the menu. After serving, the portion is small and the taste is average. The key is the long waiting time and the location of the top restaurant is small. It is said that the sense of experience is very bad. It is not worth it for 19 euros. Do not go in a hurry. In addition, the hotel is very close to the Spanish Royal Palace, within walking distance, but there is a black shop on the road. The approximate location is just past the Spanish Senate, and it is about to reach the Royal Palace. The name of the store is shown in the last picture. As soon as this shop was seated, an uncle offered his hospitality, said hello in Chinese, and then served the soup. He would ask you to drink soup in Chinese without ordering anything, not to mention the price. At the checkout, each bowl of soup (MSG) Seasoning soup) is almost 2 euros, forced consumption, remember not to enter the store.

Especially good, the location is super good, after renovation, the glass is very soundproof, double-layer, give me room and terrace, the room is also very large, the hand soap is very good, the staff is very warm, the sol is there in the west of the hotel. In the construction, the raspberry bear ( ́-ω-`) is just east, there is no construction here. Not far from the airport bus, in short, I like it very much. It’s not good to be entangled in Samsung before. It’s really great after I live. I like it very much. Very good, better than the Metz hotel.

Pros- good location, clean, easy checkin/checkout, staff helpful at front desk, long breakfast hours, very good water pressure in shower. Had 4 twin beds for a family with teenagers it was good. There was a safe in the room and housekeeping made up the room each day, even if we slept in later. Cons- room had a musty odor, didn’t get AC working until 3rd night, slept with windows open at night and street was very very noisy until 4am, breakfast was rather basic,

The location of the hotel is very good. Turn around and go to the main street. The parking lot is at the entrance of the hotel. It belongs to a large public parking lot. The hotel is relatively old, and the air conditioners are all indoors, which is similar to the old hotels of about 2 to 3 stars in China. Madrid must pay attention to thieves. . I will start accidentally.

Today the word ”luxury” has been diluted by overuse. Everything has its ”luxury” tag nowadays - from coffee blends to detergents. Coco Chanel once said that luxury is not the opposite of poverty, it is the opposite of vulgarity. And that sums up the Belle Époque Ritz in a nutshell! Everything about The Ritz madrid is elegance. From the beautiful interior, the luxurious upholstery and beautiful carpeting woven in the Royal Tapestry Factory founded in 1720. The staff are silently gliding around dressed impeccably, with equally matched service.

We stayed at the Hotel Opera recently for the second time, to celebrate a special Wedding Anniversary. We had an absolutely wonderful time. The hotel is centrally located, right next to the Opera House and close to all the attractions of central Madrid. We had nothing but excellent service from the staff throughout our whole stay - they are very responsive and helpful. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable with everything you need including a few little extras like a comb and shoeshine. Breakfast was excellent every morning, a great choice of English-style and continental offerings, The Spanish tortilla and home-made fruit tarts are particularly recommended. You need to book breakfast at a specific time, and this avoids the ”scrum” that some previous reviewers have described. Just two things prevent me giving a 5-star review. First of all it is some time since the hotel was refurbished so some of the fittings are starting to look a little tired. Secondly the cafe has changed since we were last there, it used to be possible to get tapas-style snacks from a counter display 24/7, now it is table service with hot food only available when the kitchen is open - in the evening it starts serving at 8pm which is a little late for us, so if you feel the same you need to go out to one of the many good tapas bars around. But overall we love this hotel and will certainly revisit!

We loved our stay at this hotel, which is in an ideal location for exploring Madrid. There is a metro stop right outside, which we did not use, as it was possible to get to the main tourist attractions by foot by a 10-15 minute walk (the hotel is actually only 5 minutes from Puerta del Sol). We had booked a superior room with a patio view and upon arrival were told we had been upgraded to a somewhat larger room. There was only a view of another building from our room, but the room and bathroom were quite large and luxurious. There is also a rooftop area where you can relax on comofortable chairs and enjoy some outside air. In addition to the location, the hotel should be booked for its breakfast buffet which was simply incredible. We truly were blown away by the variety of items and their quality. The staff were all very gracious, making for a most enjoyable stay at this smallish boutique hotel. The only negative that I can say is that the elevators were somewhat slow, but they even had chairs outside of them so that you could comfortably wait when necessary.

TTraveler 123recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Palacio de los Duques in Madrid, and I must say that it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I entered the magnificent palace-like building, I was captivated by the grandeur and elegance that surrounded me. The hotel's location in the heart of Madrid's historic center is perfect for exploring the city's attractions. Many iconic landmarks, such as the Royal Palace and Plaza Mayor, are within walking distance, making it convenient for sightseeing enthusiasts like me. The staff at Palacio de los Duques Madrid truly went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction throughout my stay. From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive service provided by the concierge, every interaction was marked by genuine hospitality and professionalism. The room I stayed in was beautifully appointed and exuded a sense of luxury. The elegant decor, comfortable furnishings, and modern amenities created a perfect sanctuary after a day of exploring the city. The attention to detail was impeccable, and I appreciated the little touches that enhanced my stay, such as the plush bathrobes and high-quality toiletries. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's stunning rooftop terrace. Offering panoramic views of Madrid's skyline, it provided a breathtaking backdrop for enjoying a drink or simply unwinding while taking in the city's beauty. The on-site restaurant also surpassed my expectations with its delectable cuisine, showcasing a fusion of traditional and contemporary flavors. Hotel Palacio de los Duques Madrid seamlessly blends historical charm with modern luxury. The preservation of the building's architectural heritage, combined with the impeccable service and attention to detail, creates an unforgettable experience. Overall, my stay at Hotel Palacio de los Duques Madrid exceeded all expectations. It is a true gem in the heart of Madrid, offering a perfect blend of comfort, elegance, and convenience. TTraveler 123Amazing location! The Hotel Palace Madrid is a historic and luxurious hotel located in the heart of the city. The building dates back to 1912 and has been beautifully restored to its former glory. From the moment you step through the grand entrance, you're transported to a world of elegance and sophistication. The hotel's location is perfect for exploring Madrid. It's within walking distance of many of the city's most popular attractions, including the Prado Museum, the Royal Palace, and the Gran Via. The hotel is also close to several Metro stations, making it easy to travel further afield. The service at the Hotel Palace Madrid is exceptional. The staff are friendly, helpful, and always on hand to assist with anything you need. From the moment you arrive, you're made to feel like a valued guest, and the service only gets better from there. The rooms at the hotel are spacious, beautifully decorated, and filled with natural light. They're equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a large, comfortable bed, a flat-screen TV, and a luxurious bathroom. The attention to detail is impressive, with little touches like fresh flowers and complimentary water bottles adding to the overall experience. One of the highlights of staying at the Hotel Palace Madrid is dining at one of the hotel's restaurants. The hotel has several dining options, including the Michelin-starred Restaurant La Terraza del ******, which serves innovative and delicious cuisine. The hotel also has a beautiful bar, which is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a cocktail after a day of exploring the city. The hotel's facilities are excellent. There's a fully equipped gym, a spa, and a rooftop terrace with stunning views of the city. The hotel also has several meeting and event spaces, making it an ideal choice for business travelers. Overall, the Hotel Palace Madrid is a truly exceptional hotel. From its beautiful architecture and elegant decor to its exceptional service and prime location, everything about this hotel is top-notch. If you're looking for a luxurious and unforgettable stay in Madrid, I highly recommend the Hotel Palace Madrid.

GGuest UserIf your looking for a weekend away to Madrid then look no further and choose the Novotel Madrid in the city center. The hotel is lovely and clean, the room are decent sizes and the shower is awesome. A special thank you to the hotel receptionist 'Sasha' who made our short weekend break amazing. Not only was she helpful and friendly she advised on historical points to see, advised how to travel around the city. The breakfast bar is spolit for choice and the hotel is only 20 minutes away by taxi to the airport T4, €30 a great price. The hotel provides complimentary water and housekeeping is great. This hotel has a lovely roof top bar and the food up there is amazing. Definitely worth all it's stars and the food is an excellent price. This is a great hotel in terms of location and access to both historical venues and shopping. While here we tried various foods such as Spanish, Indian, Thai and English . The people are friendly and getting around by metro is easy, or rentable scooters or bikes. The tour bus is also one to do, I went for my daughter's 16th and we all had a fabulous time .... also 20 minutes by tour bus to the Royal Madrid Stadium.

GGuest UserWe had a fantastic stay at the Crowne Plaza. The room was comfortable and modern. The bed was enormous, largest I've seen and beyond a king bed. We joked that we could have fit 4 people on it. The pillows were also fluffy and shapely. There is a mini fridge that were able to use to store cheese. The bathrooms have fig products. While I wasn't a fan of the scent, it didn't linger and Crowne Plaza is not stingy about products. There is hand soap and body lotion next to the sink. Body wash, shampoo, and conditioner are in the shower. This hotel also has tissues (a rarity in Spanish hotels) and soft 2-ply toilet paper. Minor touches but they definitely elevate the experience. The towels smelled clean and there were glasses for use throughout the room. The only feedback was the staff wasn't very welcoming or helpful. We checked in late and the night receptionist seemed bothered to see us and didn't have any suggestions for where to eat. We later asked if there's a channel that has the Real Madrid football match and they had no idea. We checked out early in the morning, around 7am, and there was a wait when the receptionist prioritized check-ins but who checks in at 7am? He forgot to email the invoice and when I emailed for it, that took 2 tries and almost a week to get it.

DDr. T The TravelerTo start my review I will point out the positive things which were unfortunately not that many. The hotel is well located to most everything in Madrid via Metro or walking distance to all restaurants and shopping wishing the center of town. Great foodie destinations and shopping are close by, and that’s where the positive comments will stop. Upon checking in the first signs of poor service were obviously there. They mentioned that because I booked via the “App” Trip.com or other then we would not be considered like others who booked via their own site or preferred partners. The room was on the first floor and next to the housekeeper room which was non-stop and especially first thing early morning was my alarm clock at 7am everyday whilst on my vacation, so clearly not a a good thing. Second and another very important issue was the A/C which didn’t work correctly and was making noise, the room was warm and humid the whole time, I mentioned to the reception within 10min of checking in, 4 nights and nothing was done to improve or correct this issue. Any request or comment was never taken in a professional, responsible or respectful way. As I was on a well deserved vacation I didn’t want to get angry and cause more stress to myself, but I was clear that I would not let this pass without commenting on it. The breakfast was good, clean but very limited in regards to selection. When requesting your eggs as they mentioned at each table the request was always ignored and just whatever was available even cold eggs as times were sent out. I had to request each day that my eggs were to be prepared soft/runny and they usually brought out cold m, dry and overcooked. So they would give me a look when I asked to please prepare as requested and then after some time they would come back with the order as mentioned. Over all it was an effort that I don’t need or want at each stage of the interaction with staff and the facility. I will stick to my usual Usual choice which is Bonvoy group of hotels next time.

GGuest UserWe stayed for a week and really enjoyed it. Exceptionally clean, really friendly and attentive staff, good atmosphere in the downstairs bar area and on the roof bar, good breakfast and very comfy, well equipped room. Wasn’t too sure initially about the area but we soon felt very comfortable and found some great bars and restaurants locally off the tourist trail. Great location for walking to the centre, La Latina, El Rastro, the park (El Retiro), the art galleries and metro/train connections. Loved Madrid.

GGuest UserWe were going to Valencia from Chamartin first thing, so the main criteria for the hotel was that it was close to the station. It is really close to the station. Big tick there. It's not the prettiest building from the outside, but inside is quite a different. The staff were really friendly and helpful. It has an outside pool, but given that the overnight temperatures were below freezing, unsurprisingly the pool was shut. The room was very nice. I can't remember the type of room (sorry!) but it had a bit with a sofa and a TV then a sort-of partitiion and then a really decent sized bed and another TV. Nice touch with the TV - you're in another country so you shouldn't expect English speaking channels, but both TVs had a Chromecast attached so it was easy to pair it with a phone or tablet and watch Netflix/Amazon Prime/saved films, etc on the TVs, which is a nice feature. Most hotels don't offer this. Only criticism is that that the hotel is very tall and it is very possible to fall out of the windows. To clarify, for most people that's not going to happen. It's just that there's nothing to stop you opening the windows on high floors - some hotels stop you opening the windows too much but these windows are easily opened and quite low. Personally I was absoutely fine with it as it let me take pictures of the north of the city and the 4 towers of CBTA unobstructed, but if you have kids with you then keep an eye out. (This is just a heads up - the rooms are fine, you might just not want to leave kids unattended.) If you don't have kids with you there is absolutely nothing to worry about, although when I opened the windows it did make me feel a little nervous. Rooms had blackout curtains and had decent soundproofing as well. Breakfast was really good. Good selection of juices, cereals, baked goods, charcuterie as well as british staples like toast, scrambled eggs, tomatoes, bacon and sausage. We arrived quite late in the afternoon and went wandering. Definitely worth checking out the worryingly tilted Puerta De Europa twin towers which are nearby. We were facing north and the view over the CBTA (home to some of the tallest buildings in the EU) and the north of Madrid is stunning, however the area around the hotel isn't the prettiest. Transport links are fantastic. Madrid's public transport system is really good and from Chamartin you can get to most of the city, including the touristy bits really easily. If I came back to Madrid would I some back here? If it were as a tourist then I might not, only because we came back to Madrid a few days later and stayed right in the centre, which was very convenient for touristy things. If I was here for non-touristy reasons or if I was planning to catch a train then I 100% would.
