K Hotels Taipei Nanjing ★★★★
"The bedroom and bathroom were very clean, and there wasn't any noise. The service was excellent, and they basically had everything you could need, including a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. It's also very close to the subway station. I'll definitely come back next time. It was a very comfortable experience."

Regent Taipei ★★★★★
"The overall ambiance of the hotel is genuinely good, and its proximity to numerous restaurants, shopping malls, and parks makes it incredibly convenient. There are indeed many guests staying here, and the breakfast spread is very rich and delicious. My favorites were the ********* rice balls and minced pork rice. However, one thing I found perplexing was that my family, who are frequent guests, always ask for a pot of green tea after breakfast. Every time, the staff would initially say they only have cups, not pots. But if we insisted firmly, they would eventually provide a pot of green tea. I really don't understand why this is the case. Perhaps because the hotel isn't newly built, during my last stay, the bathroom drainage was blocked, leading to a ridiculous amount of flooding. It took quite a while for someone to come and fix it. In terms of service speed, there's definitely room for improvement and enhancement."

"Awesome location with a direct access to Taipei bus transfer station. Easy to get to the airport in a very early morning. The shower drain was slow though so that was a bit of a disappointment. Decor in the hotel is lovely and unique."

Mandarin Oriental Taipei ★★★★★
"As a Mandarin Oriental Silk member, I booked this stay through Trip.com, and the drop in quality was significant. I'm not sure what changes have been made to the hotel's service training standards. I've stayed here every time I've returned to Taiwan since it opened in 2014, but this experience was just average. The front desk reception was formulaic – they smiled but lacked any warmth, making you feel very distant. The turn-down service is gone, and the little bedtime gifts have also disappeared. Housekeeping standards are not what they used to be either. The doormen at the hotel entrance can't compare to the previous staff. It's been less than half a year since my last stay, and the decline in service standards is beyond imagination. The only thing that still brought back warm memories were a few of the breakfast servers on the fifth-floor restaurant – familiar faces with the old service standards and friendliness, making you feel like you were indeed still staying at the Mandarin Oriental Taipei. Oh, and this time, in the twin room, there was a strange tapping sound coming from the headboard at night, a 'da-da-da' every minute and a half, which really disturbed my sleep. It was quite a disappointing stay."
