Madrid Marriott Auditorium Hotel & Conference Center

Honestly, there's not much to say – this is my go-to hotel every time I'm in Madrid. It's the pinnacle of four-star hotels in Spain. They offer numerous complimentary airport shuttles daily, which is incredibly convenient. It's a preferred hotel for many airlines, so you often get to enjoy breakfast alongside flight attendants!

Stayed here for one night during a layover. The hotel offers a shuttle bus service to all terminals at Madrid Airport, which is very convenient, taking about 15 minutes to reach T4. The hotel itself is quite large. It's a bit far from the city center though.

Staying overnight for a layover at Madrid Airport, this Marriott was an excellent choice. Unlike most hotels in Europe that only allow check-in in the afternoon, this one generally has a flexible policy. We arrived on an early flight, got to the hotel just past 9 AM, and they happily arranged for us to check in. The service attitude was also great. All the Marriott member benefits were provided, and the executive lounge is open from 7:30 AM to 10:30 PM. Besides hot food during breakfast and dinner, there are also light meals available throughout the day, which is convenient for guests checking in at different times. They even prepared a breakfast bag for us since we had an early flight and couldn't make breakfast. The hotel has a good number of rooms, and the dining and fitness facilities are all comprehensive. The pool was also quite warm. There's a free shuttle service to and from the airport and a nearby shopping mall; no reservation needed, just queue up and hop on. The pickup point at the airport's Terminal 1 is opposite gate 14. When heading to the airport, be mindful that the shuttle for T2 and T1 might not be the same vehicle.

I've stayed here twice before heading back home. It's close to the airport, which makes it convenient for early morning flights. The hotel itself is also quite good.

The hotel is huge, and the rooms are really clean! The breakfast spread was excellent, and the front desk staff were very efficient – check-in was super quick. I'd definitely stay here again if I get the chance, haha!

Location: Not far from the airport, about a 30-minute drive. There are no subway stations nearby. If you're heading into the city, you can consider taking the HOTEL BUS to the airport and then transferring to the subway or train. Price: Not expensive. I booked three days in advance and it was over budget, but then I saw the price dropped in the evening, so I decisively canceled and rebooked. Transportation: The hotel offers a free HOTEL BUS. Its stop is right in front of where you catch buses after arriving. Look for the yellow 'BUS' signs at the airport; yellow indicates the HOTEL BUS. You can contact the hotel in advance for the routes and departure times. Environment: Pretty good. The hotel is quite large, with several buildings. Breakfast is from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Locals usually eat lunch around 1:00 PM, so you can take your time with breakfast since it also gets light late here. Service: People here aren't great at English. The front desk staff are okay; even if you can't understand what they're saying, they'll use gestures to make sure you get it.

The room was very spacious and clean, making for a pleasant stay. The breakfast was also very generous and well-suited for Chinese tastes. With a long breakfast service, it was easy to manage our meal times effectively.
