Hotels with Bars in Naha

First, let's talk about the location: If you're using Naha city as a transit hub and plan to travel around Okinawa by public transportation, I highly recommend staying near the Naha Bus Terminal. 1. Many express long-distance buses depart from here. 2. It's also where Asahibashi Station for the Yui Rail (monorail) is located within Naha city. The Yui Rail is punctual and convenient, taking you to places like the museum, Shuri Castle, and more. 3. You can also walk directly to Naminoue Shrine, and it's not far from Kokusai Street (both about a 15-minute walk). It's also very close to the Don Quijote in Tsubogawa. One more thing: there are many hotels around Asahibashi Station, all sharing a covered pedestrian bridge that connects the bus terminal and Yui Rail station. So, there isn't much difference in terms of location. I chose this particular hotel based on room size. Now, about the hotel itself: You can access the hotel elevators on both the first and second floors, taking you directly to the 14th-floor front desk. Check-in at the front desk was thorough but a bit slow. At the front desk, you can pick up daily amenities like bath salts, sunscreen, shower gel, face masks, makeup remover, etc. There's also that blue herbal tea... On the 14th floor, you have to switch elevators to reach the guest room floors. Whenever I hung the 'please clean' sign when going out, the room was always tidied up and looked brand new upon my return, with daily consumables replenished. Oh, and I really loved the sencha coffee machine in the room; I'd have a cup or two every day after coming back. I even watched a Norway vs. England World Cup match on NHK BS 4K on the TV. There are many supermarkets downstairs, and various dining options like izakayas and Okinawan restaurants are all within walking distance. I stayed for 4 days and was very satisfied overall.

This hotel might seem a lot more expensive than other Naha city hotels, but it worth every penny & being one of our best stay in Okinawa. The large room does feel like a suite with the comfy sofa area equipped with a giant TV. We also enjoyed the large modern bathroom. The room deco & amenities are all sophisticatedly design. The hotel dining is top notch, make sure you book with their breakfast please! It turns out to be one of our best hotel breakfast in Japan. Not only they offer chef menu of sashimi rice bowl, the quality of buffet options are crazy, honey dripping from actual honey comb, 3 options of miso from different origins to make your own soup, wide spread of veggies, breads & teas… we skipped lunch after. We also had birthday dinner in “The Long Vocation” restaurant and we were quite impressed by their food & drink and service. We stayed over typhoon, & we were very glad to have chosen to stay in Southwest Grand which offer late check out, indoor pool & good variety of food. The location is gold, the only little issue is they don’t have car park on site and the closest paid one requires 1-2 mins walk outdoor. It maybe a little hectic during some weather condition. Big shout out to the 2 lady staffs who help guests with luggages at the entrance frighting over strong wind & heavy rain, they were amazing! We missed our stay already and do hope to stay at this hotel again when we revisit Naha, hope to able to use their outdoor pool in a better weather. Overall highly highly recommended!

Conveniently located along the main shopping street, we can easily access the shops and F&B easily at night. Calbee+ is just across the road with many convenient stores nearby. Don Quijote is walking distance away. There are also many famous eateries and restaurants. Our room is compact with a little walkway, same as the listed photos. It is great for solo travellers but still good enough for couples. I did not get the chance to use their public bath. You can get ice from the hallway. The breakfast selection was not bad, and the food was good. If you are planning to drive, there is one carpark across the street and another open-air carpark behind the building. Unfortunately, there seems to be no walkway/link between the carpark and the hotel. We need to walk along the roads from the carpark to the hotel. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

The lobby looks good, but the hotel lacks attention to detail. **Service:** Check-in was handled by an English-speaking Indian lady. Upon arrival, I received a four-piece Pola amenity set, and I could pick up a comb and toothbrush at the front desk. The comb was of good quality, which was a nice touch. Since I arrived late and still wanted to go out, I didn't get a chance to use the hot spring (onsen). **Facilities:** It was a triple room, and as expected for a city hotel in Japan, it was quite small. My 24-inch suitcase couldn't be fully opened. There were some stains on the sofa by the window, and as other reviews mentioned, the toilet had a bad odor. The bathroom counter was also small. I won't be booking this place again.

I've stayed at this hotel all three times I've been to Okinawa, and it's fantastic! 😍 There's a 7-Eleven right downstairs, and it's within walking distance of Kokusai Dori and the station. Everything is easily accessible on foot, which is super convenient. The rooms are clean, although the view from my room wasn't great on my second and third visits, but it was still a very good stay overall. 👍

Stayed there for 3 nights. Good for the price, pretty basic in this price range, similar to other hotels. It’s more of an apartment style than a hotel: a little kitchen, separate toilet and bathroom (important when you travel as a couple). There were some kitchen utensils (like pan, for example), but no plates 😅 They said you can rent them at the reception but we didn’t need. The room seemed smaller than in the pictures though. Also, the room had a small balcony - with a street view, but a good thing to have anyway. Washing machine was okay, noisy, you meet this type often in Japanese hotels. Washing powder was provided, too. Would recommend for a shorter stay, up to 3 days.

Strategic location: Cross the road has 2 convenient stores. A few minutes walk to (a) monorail train station (No.8 Makishi (牧志), as well as (b) Kokusai Dori (国際通り), and many other restaurants. Breakfast: Super delicious! For me, I enjoyed the various types (at least 8) of Okinawan-style and conventional-style salads, besides fresh fruits and other conventional foods to fill up your stomach. Room: I stayed at a twin room with 4-feet single bed each. The room size was also spacious if compared to the same rank of those hotels nearby which I stayed before. Will visit this hotel again! Personally I chose this hotel because of the Orion Group.

Conveniently located at one end of the shopping street, kokusai dori. Automated parking (¥1800/day), very easy and convenient. Laundry machines usually fully occupied during evening hours.

Such a lovely stay here, the room was small but enough and cozy for 2 people. The staff are honestly top tier, super kind and friendly and extremely welcoming / helpful. And the food is really good as well!! Highly recommend!!

Very nice place for backpackers. I was able to meet many new people. They have some kind of a deal with a local diving company, so when at the hostel you can book diving or snorkeling and get some percent off the price👍🏼
