Hotels with Bars in Naha

We had a wonderful experience staying at Hotel Collective in Okinawa. The property is still very new and exceptionally clean throughout, making it a highly comfortable place to relax. Key Highlights of Our Stay: Great Perks for Families: They provide a dedicated kids' room that is completely free of charge. While it is not very big, it is still a nice bonus for families traveling with smaller children. Excellent Outdoor Jacuzzi: The outdoor pool complex features a fantastic hot tub with a jacuzzi function. The water temperature is kept very hot, which felt amazing on a breezy, cool day of about 18–20 degrees Celsius. Outstanding Breakfast Buffet: Future guests do not need to spend extra money hunting for authentic Okinawan food outside! The hotel's Vision & Emotion morning buffet serves an incredible spread where you can taste all traditional Okinawan dishes alongside Western and standard Japanese favorites. Pro-Tip for Future Guests: I highly recommend adding a little extra money to your booking package to include the breakfast buffet up front. It is absolutely worth it and saves you the hassle of searching for food in the morning!

The location is fantastic! It's just a 5-minute walk from Makishi Station, right in the heart of Kokusai Street, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. The room views are also excellent, and there's a free public bath and a swimming pool available.

When we arrived, already liked the atmosphere of the lobby- bar-restaurant, which was lively, with nice lighting and the green foliage from the window wall and smell nice too, which is very important. We could early check-in in a corner room and high floor! Our purpose was to leave our bags and was surprised with rooms ready. Our room was spotless, decorated with neutral colours, very comfortable, everything was new. The only thing, the window only opens just a little bit and was hard to close it back and the faucet of the sink was just below the glass shelf and you will hit it every time you turn it on and the room lights had few individual switches, therefore was almost an all lights on or all lights off deal! Another down thing was the flip-flops which weren’t comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and fresh, with just the right amount of choices but everything available was really good. The public bath as well, everything was new, clean and with enough number of showers and the bath had the right size, decorated with simple and tasteful colours, the water was delicious. The location of the hotel was very good, just a few minutes walk to the monorail and with convenient shopping around. We enjoyed every minute of our stayed! It was excellent!

Stayed there for 3 nights. Good for the price, pretty basic in this price range, similar to other hotels. It’s more of an apartment style than a hotel: a little kitchen, separate toilet and bathroom (important when you travel as a couple). There were some kitchen utensils (like pan, for example), but no plates 😅 They said you can rent them at the reception but we didn’t need. The room seemed smaller than in the pictures though. Also, the room had a small balcony - with a street view, but a good thing to have anyway. Washing machine was okay, noisy, you meet this type often in Japanese hotels. Washing powder was provided, too. Would recommend for a shorter stay, up to 3 days.

Extremely clean and tidy. The room is very large and spacious for Japan. The surroundings are incredibly convenient, with Lawson, 7-Eleven, and other convenience stores right downstairs. It's also very close to day tour meeting points and Kokusai-dori, and about a 16-minute walk to the pier (for glass-bottom boats/whale watching tours). Highly recommended.

I've stayed at this hotel all three times I've been to Okinawa, and it's fantastic! 😍 There's a 7-Eleven right downstairs, and it's within walking distance of Kokusai Dori and the station. Everything is easily accessible on foot, which is super convenient. The rooms are clean, although the view from my room wasn't great on my second and third visits, but it was still a very good stay overall. 👍

The biggest disappointment during our stay was the check-out experience. One of the front desk staff had a very unfriendly attitude and tone of voice, which made us feel unwelcome and not respected. It is possible that English was not their first language, but the overall service at check-out was disappointing. Another downside was the parking fee, which was much more expensive than we expected. Since we were driving, it added a significant extra cost to our stay. Other than these issues, we had a good stay. The room was well maintained and comfortable, and the view was beautiful. The breakfast was delicious, and the location was okay, within walking distance to the port. We also appreciated having a laundry room, which was very convenient.

This hotel is nowhere near the 5-star standard advertised on Trip.com and is, at best, a 3-star property. The facility hours are very limited, especially for a hotel claiming to be luxury. The rooftop bar closes at 9 pm, which is far too early, and we were also told at check-in that access to the infinity pool costs extra at around JPY 1,100 per adult. Charges like this should be made clear upfront, not casually mentioned on arrival. Breakfast was decent enough, with an adequate selection, but the process was unnecessarily frustrating. Guests had to register in advance for a roughly 45-minute timeslot, and during our visit we were asked to provide a QR code. It felt overly complicated and poorly managed when they could simply have checked our room number and names instead. The only real positive was the reception staff, who were friendly, welcoming, and helpful with our requests. Unfortunately, good staff alone cannot make up for the limited facilities, extra charges, and inconvenient procedures. Overall, this hotel does not deliver a 5-star experience and feels misleadingly advertised.

HOTEL SANSUI NAHA Ryukyu Onsen Naminoue-no-Yu: City Hot Spring Accommodation Blending Convenience with Reality I recently stayed at HOTEL SANSUI NAHA Ryukyu Onsen Naminoue-no-Yu, and overall, it's a city hot spring hotel that offers both excellent transportation and a resort-like atmosphere. Its most appealing aspect is undoubtedly its location. The hotel is about a five-minute walk from Naminoue Shrine and conveniently close to Naminoue Beach, making it an ideal base for those planning a leisurely trip to Naha city. You can stroll to the beach during the day to enjoy the sea views, then return to the hotel in the evening to soak in the hot springs, effectively relieving the day's fatigue. The hotel's natural hot spring originates from approximately 500 meters underground, and its well-equipped open-air baths and saunas add an extra layer of relaxation to the stay. (Ryukyu Resort) While there were front desk staff to assist during check-in, the process was mainly completed via self-service machines. This isn't difficult for travelers familiar with self-service operations, but first-time users might need a bit of time to adjust. The overall process is quite modernized, which also helps reduce waiting times. However, there's one point about this hotel that must be understood before booking. The hotel is located in the Naha Tsuji area, which is a more established entertainment district. At night, you'll see many adult entertainment venues, and the atmosphere of the street differs from typical tourist areas. For couples or friends traveling together, this may not be a major issue; however, families with young children might need to consider the surrounding environment when deciding if it suits their travel needs. Additionally, self-driving travelers should pay close attention to parking fees. The hotel's parking lot charges by the hour, and rates vary significantly depending on the duration of stay. Whether it's an hourly charge, a 12-hour plan, or a 24-hour plan, there's a noticeable difference in fees. If you plan to park continuously for an entire day, it's recommended to confirm the most cost-effective charging method with the front desk upon check-in to avoid unintentional additional expenses. Overall, Hotel Sansui is not a luxurious resort but a city hotel that combines convenient transportation, natural hot springs, and comfortable amenities. It's well-suited for couples, partners, or self-driving travelers as a base for exploring Naha city. If you're aware of the surrounding environment and parking regulations beforehand, you can more freely enjoy the beauty of Naminoue Shrine, Naminoue Beach, and the laid-back pace of Naha. For me, the greatest charm here isn't luxury, but the ability to soak in the warm 'Naminoue-no-Yu' after finishing my daily itinerary, truly allowing my mind and body to settle. This simple sense of healing is the most comfortable happiness in travel.
