"The room was a bit dated, and the furniture quite basic. On the plus side, it's very close to the train station, and within walking distance of the art gallery, cathedral, and good spots to watch the sunset. What's even better, it's right at the entrance of Chinatown, making it incredibly convenient for enjoying Chinese food and browsing the Chinese supermarket. I even found the best-tasting water I've ever had on a trip at the Chinese supermarket – I was so happy about that! However, watch out for that ice cream shop on the same street – it's a total rip-off!"

GGuest UserService was ok except for the kinda ****** head waiter/uncle at the restaurant during buffet service. He is always free for anyone else except for us Asians, it’s always “a moment please” even though he’s not busy.Apart from that, everything was good. The room was spacious, there’s even a separate room to store luggage. They also had a complimentary local snack which is yummy, towels are divided into blue and pink which is cute. However, the sewage system isn’t very efficient. Water pools up when you take a slightly longer shower so I did not dare wash my hair during the stay there. Although it doesn’t seem like it’s huge from the outside, it certainly is on the inside and very vintage. Didn’t get to try the jacuzzi system though. Spa service is also available. A harp player plays daily from 6pm to 8pm. We had a day tour which starts early too so they have a service which lets you take away your breakfast.

GGuest UserThe service is very good, very clean and tidy, the doorman is very enthusiastic, and greets you every time you go in and out~ The room is clean and the bathroom is large, the location is good, and the pasta in the restaurant opposite is delicious. The rooftop terrace is beautiful, but you can only go up from one elevator. The other elevator goes to the suite on the 6th floor~ I didn't meet other people on the terrace, it was quiet and comfortable

HHONGSHENGI rarely write reviews, but I simply *had* to this time! After checking out, I discovered my car wouldn't start – I'd foolishly left something on and completely drained the battery. Within just 5 minutes, the amazing ladies at the front desk found the incredibly resourceful Alessio for me. He first brought a battery charger, but when he realized it couldn't reach, he immediately drove another car over to use its battery to jump-start mine. The entire process was completed within 10 minutes, and it was absolutely free! So, a huge shout-out to [Hotel Name] for such outstanding service, big thanks to the front desk team (both the ladies and gentlemen), and a special, massive thank you to Alessio!

SSomething went wrongGreat location! All tourism spots are in walkable distance! And we enjoyed walking around the city very much! Their facilities are amazing, swimming pool and gym room are located on the roof top which gives us the best view of Firenze. Their breakfast is highly recommended! AAnonymous UserPros: While we checking in there was someone carrying luggage for us to our room, there was a bottle of wine and two small bottle of water as complimentary for the first night. Location is near to S.M. Novella Station and bus station so it's a perfect. Breakfast was a 4 star standard and the taste more or less the same throughout my trips in 3 different hotels so no complain. Cons: the shower pressure was really small and the heater inside the room was not working, after the first night experience we asked the front desk the next morning if they could check for us but ended up the shower pressure was really small, if there is a measurement lowest from 1 to highest 5, the pressure was definitely 1. So we aren't sure if they did send someone to check or not but one thing for sure they never update us after that and the heater switch remains the same as before I complained. It was really cold. One evening around 7pm - 8pm as the hotel is actually located kinda like an alley and bit darker so a guy was suspiciously following us at our back and we have to almost run back to our hotel and while we ran he speed up as well so it's really scary better not to be alone walk back hotel. Overall, location and breakfast are good. Service could be improved imo.

GGuest UserConveniently located, 5 mins walk from the train station, but not very noisy which is nice. My room had a little balcony. But I gotta say, as a newly opened hotel and an IHG group hotel, I was very disappointed. First, I found a used bandage stuck on my “clean” towel, and the bathroom was poorly designed , with the half screen on the bathtub , I guarantee you would get water everywhere on the floor no matter how careful you are when taking a shower. The hotel & room is stylish, but as a hotel of 2 years old (according to the internet, the hotel opened in 2023), the bathroom is badly maintained , broken faucet which was temporarily fixed, rusts and stains everywhere, i guess also because of the poor selection of materials when it was designed, this all makes it look like a 20 year old hotel. The first morning I had breakfast, I went really early, it was nice and quiet, I thought the spread was good and not bad in taste & quality. But the 2nd morning I went at 9ish, tables were not cleaned , the hash browns were rock-hard. And we saw other guests having different breakfast items that were not in the buffet, so I asked the staff if there were other options, and not until then we were told each guests can order 1 item each from the ala carte menu with no cost, we were not informed about this and I think guests deserves to know they have options… i guess that’s how they treat tourists ….. or just how they treat Asians….. so if you stay here, be sure to ask for the menu if you want alternatives for your breakfast.

GGuest UserThe hotel is close to the city center, which is very convenient for walks. The staff is polite and very friendly. Upon learning it was my first time in Florence, they gave me a tourist map and informed me about the sights, even drawing a convenient route for me. At my request, they printed out a concert ticket. The room was warm. I made tea using my own water heater, so the absence of a kettle wasn't an issue. Breakfast was perfectly fine, just like at most hotels. The hotel definitely undersells itself with its star rating; it could easily be a 3-star.

GGuest Userthe hotel is rather old, you will have to carry your luggage up a flight of stairs before even reaching the hotel lobby. the check in process is slow as the counter guy will be busy talking away with his colleague and taking his time while doing your check in (it was the same for every guests) the shower head is very heavy and falls off easily and the towels were dirty. one good thing is that hotel slippers were provided but no new ones when they clean the room. also do note that they do not provide a “do not disturb” sign and will clean your room everyday, they will bang on your door to check if you are still in the room. i was assigned on the first floor and they start cleaning very early in the morning which is very noisy and disruptive, the cleaners will just be talking away. the room has very thin walls and i can literally hear water gushing whenever the person in the room beside flushes. it is also noisy due to the vehicles since it is near the main road.

GGuest UserExcellent location, excellent treatment and service by all the staff, especially by the receptionist who is there in the mornings and who knows how to speak Spanish. Their kindness and attention: exceptional, the fact that it has a swimming pool, even if it is small, to take a dip especially in summer, with the heat that it is, is an important point to take into account, and although I have read that they do not warn that it does not have an elevator and that in many cases, like us, they send you to the second floor with many steps, it is true, but they also take your suitcases up and down. Without a doubt, I will stay at this hotel again on my next trip to Florence.

AAnonymous UserThis hotel is very close to the river, a little over a kilometer from the train station, and a 20-minute walk from Santa Maria del Fiore. There is also a Carrefour supermarket nearby, which is very convenient. The breakfast is good in Florence, and it is also easy to call a taxi.
