Great hotel that is very well located, its within walking distance of all the most famous places in Florence. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the lobby of the hotel is beautiful. We found the room and the bed in particular very comfortable. The food served in the breakfast is very good. Our only suggestion is to improve the wifi service, the internet was very slow and sometimes it disconnected. Everything else was perfect, we definitely recommend it.

From the moment I checked in, until the moment I checked out, I was thoroughly looked after at the hotel by the friendly and professional staff. Many thanks to Alessandro on Reception and Claudio from the bar for looking after me so well. If you are travelling from the airport, catch the tram to Uscita Place which is a four minute walk to the hotel. Keep to the left when you alight the tram and the hotel is situated opposite United Colours of Benetton on Via Cerretani. The location of the hotel is fabulous as I walked everywhere. I was upgraded to a Superior King Room, which for Italy was very spacious, clean and comfortable. I asked for a room in a quiet area of the hotel and heard no disturbances throughout my stay. The hotel is not very large and very contemporary inside with a good restaurant, bar and lobby area. I had a complimentary cocktail in the bar and all of my soft drinks in the mini bar were also complimentary and unlimited free water as part of my All Accor status. The breakfast was buffet style and had a quality selection of food and drinks, and an excellent selection of pastries, which I walked off every day. I thoroughly recommend this boutique style hotel for your stay in Florence due to its excellent connection links with the airport, it's location for all the local attractions and large rooms for Italian properties.

Hotel is in a great location and within walking distance of the main attractions. From Florence Airport it is a short ride on the tram and then a few minutes walk to the hotel. Both the train and bus station are also only a few minutes walk away. Hotel staff are excellent - both at reception and in the restaurant. We had the buffet breakfast each morning and all the usual items you would expect to see were there - both hot and cold. We opted for a smaller room which was on the 2nd floor facing out the rear of the hotel There was no exterior noise. Room was good and had a very comfortable bed. The mini bar contained snacks and drinks such as coke, health drinks all of which was free. Our favourite restaurant was a 5 minute walk - Antica Trattoria Il Giardino dal 1939 located at 61 Via della Scala. Tip - they offered discounts for certain time bookings online. Food and service excellent.

If you are coming to Florence (Firenze) via the train, staying at the Hotel Mercure Firenze Centro is a good choice as it is located just about a block away. It maybe a bit tricky to locate it the sign is not very apparent and is somewhat small. It is more visible from across the street. There is also a side entrance .When we were there in July 2022, they had a mandatory appointment time to reserve for the continental breakfast each morning starting at 7a.m. to avoid overcrowding and social distancing. Hotel Mercure Firenze Centro is a very convenient 10 minute walk to the Duomo. The service was very efficient at check in and they were very more than welcome to store our luggage as check in time wasn't until after 4p.m. The rooms are very huge and daily room service was good.

The front office team is outstanding.
Didn't manage to get his name, he was on duty on the night(9/7/2024) we checked in. Extremely patience and fed us with info. Alberto who seems to be the front office manager have been very accommodating. Thank you team.
Location is great, steps from Firenze S.M.N and to most tourist spots.

Few minutes walk from the station past McDonald’s (exit the station from the left). Hotel is set back so can easily be missed. We had a room for three, one double bed and a low camp bed. Rooms made up everyday and towels changed frequently. Wardrobe with plenty of hangers, safe, complimentary water in fridge. I asked if we could have a kettle and this was no problem. Bathroom quite big, shower cubicle with toiletries. Lovely white, big bath towels. Great location for lots of great restaurants and only minutes away from attractions. Rooms are quite warm but there is air con. Breakfast consists of yogurts, fresh fruit, breads, croissants, scrambled eggs and great coffee. Hotel staff are so helpful, even printed out our tickets for one of our trips. Would stay there again, next time exit the train station from the left!

I arrived with my septuagenarian parents on April 27 for a week-long stay. The hotel provided us with the right room classification on arrival, but I was concerned that the suite was single bathroom instead of two and the closet space was not optimal for our needs. Annamaria, Victoria and Samuele stand out as front office staff who listened and acted swiftly to help address our request for help and resolved the issue the next day. That was the first wow moment of our stay. I also recommend the breakfast (came with our reservation package) and you should take advantage of the Rooftop Bar, the view of the Duomo and across the city 360 degress is suberb. After 10+ visits to Florence, this hotel has become my new preferred location and I anticipate returning here in the years to come.

The staff was very professional and everyone spoke English. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The location was good for me because I could walk to everywhere I wanted to visit. Their ”continental breakfast” was good and had a lot of things - yogurt, muffins, eggs, bacon, croissants, and various other things.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The staff were very friendly and the room was very clean. The only slight issue in the room was a funny smell from the plug in the sink, but this was only an issue when brushing teeth etc. The room was also very spacious. The breakfast was well stocked and fresh, the location is good with various bars and restaurants a 10 minute walk. Overall we would definitely recommend this hotel.

Book a triple room, the room has a sofa bed, European-style decoration, very suitable for the style of this place in Florence, the hotel is also fully equipped. The hotel has a good breakfast, especially like the open-air rooftop restaurant, and breakfast is also a pleasure. The location of the hotel is very good, basically walk.

GGuest UserI love this hotel, its my 3rd or 4th time staying there and they made my stay even more wonderful than I ever expected, the amazing staff at the reception Ms. Adriana and Mr. Agustu were super friendly and helpful, they gave me full info about the city, they also gave me a very nice room overlooking this amazing public space with trees and window with blue sky or it was so enjoyable to stay inside the room. the bed was so comfy, the shower was strong and the breakfast was so good and fresh, breakfast staff was always smiling and asking if i need any help or want something specially cooked, they had a rush one day but they were helping every guest and trying to accommodate all requests, also hotel is very close to the Dumo and to my favorite restaurants Tratoria ZAZA and Allantico Vinaio which are 3 minutes walk from there, also it is close to the SMN train station, bus station is immediately at the hotel entrance. I love Roomate Luca Florence, I spent 2 weeks travelling in 4 countries and this hotel is my top favorite hotel, they made my time in Florence unforgettably amazing.

AAnuradhaBreakfast can be much better. It is an expensive hotel but their breakfast buffet doesn't have fresh fruit, poor cheese selection and they also don't serve multi grain bread.
For some reason, i felt like the staff were serving the Europeans faster.
Also, at the hotel reception, the staff will give you incorrect information regarding the city tours and hotels. Please be careful

The staff at the Anglo American Hotel deserves special praise. From the moment I arrived, they were friendly, professional, and attentive. GGuest UserWe stayed for 3 nights in April, the Hotel was clean, convenient, quiet and comfortable. The staff were lovely without exception. Everyone from the front desk to the breakfast staff and room service were friendly and helpful making us feel very welcome. Our room was at the rear of the hotel (204) with a balcony which was a pleasant surprise. The view was nothing special as it overlooked the rear of other properties but it was nice and comfortable and very quite. There is a Spa that you can book for your exclusive use. This is sometimes included in your deal but otherwise is 25 euros each for 50 minutes and well worth it. The view from the roof top is superb and you can get a drink from the reception bar and take it up there or even take your own bottle of wine! Breakfast centres mainly on pastries, fruits and meats. There is a “hot” option of eggs and bacon but is only ever warm at best. However, the pastries are very nice and more than enough available. It also has to be the most convenient trip I have ever experienced from Airport to hotel! Exit the airport turn left and walk to the tram stop about a minute away. Take the T2 tram to UNITA and get off at Rosselli. That’s it!, it takes about 20 minutes and when the t4am leave you will be facing the hotel. It cost 1.50 euros each. You can buy the tickets on the tram platform but I would visit the shop Hudson as others have mentioned on here and get them there as there can be a queue to get your ticket on the platform. Don’t forget to slide it into the machine to validate it when you board. The hotel is about 15 minutes walk for the “Dome” in the centre and about 25 minutes to the bridges on the river. There are some excellent restaurants such as Casa Ciabattini and Osteria Vecchio Cancellous within 6/7 minute walk both of which I would highly recommend. I would not hesitate to return.

GGuest UserWe spent 3 night in 3 different cities on our trip. This was our favorite hotel on our trip. Beds were super comfy and the place was very clean. The staff went above and beyond for us as we asked for recommendations for restaurants and they made reservations for us and sent us text messages once they were confirmed. The best part about this place is the courtyard. Gorgeous. We would grab a drink at the bar and then go out to the courtyard to enjoy it. There is a hot tub out there as well but we did not use it. Bartenders were all very friendly. The location is perfect. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle but more than close enough to walk to everything, which we did. No need for public transportation to get to and from the hotel. High recommend!

GGuest UserI loved this quirky old hotel. It is old fashioned in the best possible sense; very well situated close to the train station, the Duomo and the centre of Florence - so a perfect location for shopping and sightseeing. The rooms could do with some refurbishment but are air conditioned, kept very clean, and everything works. Doubles are generous in size, single rooms are small. Breakfast is continental with cheese, ham, muesli, croissants, cake, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and detox water. Most importantly, the staff here were unfailingly courteous and helpful. They really could not do enough for us, from letting me borrow an adapter, to recommending excursions, booking taxis, and accommodating a late check out. There are trendier, more modern hotels in the area, but that is reflected in the price - you get what you pay for.

JJSTWHighly recommended to whoever plan to visit Florence and would like to stay close to Florence central station. Hotel Delle Nazioni is basically just next to the Central Station and within walking distance to all major attractions, it’s super convenient to travel around Florence by foot.
Also the breakfast selection is wide and food was delicious. Highly recommended Hotel Delle Nazioni .

GGuest UserThe hotel couldn’t be better. Participants have their own apartment which comes with a fully equipped kitchen. Even if you are on your own, pop for a one bedroom for a extra room. This is especially nice for a long stay. I had a room on the ground level. It opened up to the patio which has a nice sitting area and tables and chairs. I often took my lunch out there, or a drink after a hard day touring in historic Florence. People do smoke out there, but not very much. The rooms are clean, clean, clean and there is housekeeping service every three days. Linens are bright white. The property is located a block away from the T2 Tram Line which gets to the historic area in about 10 minutes. I would stay here again.

GGuest UserWhat a friendly and clean hotel! Convenient, excellent continental breakfast (even included eggs!), and superb staff to help with everything. Miguele, at the front desk was especially helpful with our entire 3 day stay. Parking was a big bonus, not usually included in this price range.
