"We chose Beijing for our high school graduation trip, and stayed at this hotel for five nights out of our six-day journey. Since it was before the peak summer season, the price was quite reasonable, and the overall experience was very smooth! The hotel's hygiene and cleanliness were excellent. I didn't experience any skin discomfort during our five-night stay (though this can vary for different people). The robot delivery for takeout was prompt and convenient; no need to go downstairs. The hotel breakfast offered a good variety of both Chinese and Western options. It wasn't just generic pre-made food; the dishes were fresh. We stayed in a twin room. The room had good natural light, and the window size was appropriate. Some rooms seemed to face office buildings, while others faced the road, but overall it was quiet. The air conditioning made a slight noise, but it didn't significantly affect our sleep. The laundry room on the second floor was well-equipped with washing, drying, and steam ironing facilities. You could do it yourself or leave your laundry card for staff to assist. Also, we requested room cleaning every day after we left. Coming back in the evening to a tidy room was a pleasant feeling, and they never moved our luggage around. Issues were resolved promptly. One evening, our key card wouldn't open the door, and someone came upstairs to fix it very quickly. Additionally, opposite the front desk on the first floor, there's a coffee machine, ice dispenser, small fridge, and lemon water, all with disposable cups provided – very convenient. There are many shopping malls near the hotel. Across the street is a 24-hour Lawson convenience store. A bit further is a mall called 'Saite +' (赛特+), which isn't huge but has everything you need, making it quite practical for daily life. If you don't want to go too far but want to eat at a restaurant, you can check the food establishments on the map in advance. The subway is about 600 meters away, I think? There's a shared bike parking spot right downstairs, so you can cycle if you don't want to walk. Plus, the subway is Line 1, which makes it easy to get anywhere. There's also a Mixue Bingcheng (蜜雪冰城) nearby~ For taxis, the pick-up point is directly at the hotel entrance, so it's easy to find."

Hotel near Tian'Anmen Square and Wangfujing Area,Beijing
The hotel is located in the Longfu Temple Cultural and Creative Park, surrounded by many traditional Beijing hutongs. Particularly to the north is the Qianliang Hutong, which has a history of seven hundred years. The name "Qianliang" (meaning "money and grain") symbolizes prosperity and nourishment, and it has cultivated a rich atmosphere of old Beijing charm. Drawing inspiration from the texture of the hutongs, the hotel has meticulously designed its guest rooms into five distinct Beijing-style spaces. These spaces coexist and integrate harmoniously with the cultural landmark of Longfu Temple, creating a compound experience that combines art, culture, and travel, available around the clock.

"Best stay ever! The hotel is absolutely amazing. We loved everything. Th beautiful scent through out the hotel, the lovely interior design and the warm, relaxing atmosphere. We felt at home from the moment we arrived. The NOA Bejing team is simply outstanding. 1000/10. A special thank to Hai and to the young Lady and the young men who spoke very well English and all the other staff members who always went the extra mile to help us. With the translation apps it was really easy to understand each other. This was one of our best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. We will definitively come back and highly recommand NOA Beijing to anyone visiting the city."

"The room was initially over 500, but dropped to just over 300 closer to the date. The power outlet cover was loose, and the connection was bad, so they gave me an extension cord. The rain shower in the bathroom was broken, and there was a huge noise in the room. The floor was also sticky. The laundry room was very basic, mixed with storage for the sterilization room. The hotel lobby also had small items piled up haphazardly."

"Excellent experience! The hotel delivered my takeout directly to the room. They even upgraded my room since it was available. On the day we checked out, we were a bit slow packing and went past 12 PM, but the front desk didn't rush us and even extended our stay for a while for free. When we finally finished packing, it was raining outside, and the front desk extended our stay again for free! It was truly wonderful, and my experience this time was fantastic! The water was hot and plentiful, and the air conditioning was powerful, blowing out such cold air that I needed a blanket. The transportation is very convenient, with a bus stop right outside, making it easy to get anywhere. The location is also excellent."

Facilities: The facilities are comprehensive, with a fridge, smart toilet, smart speaker, and electric curtains in the room. The hotel also has a laundry room and a gym. However, there's only one elevator, so expect a wait during peak hours. The room has a balcony, but the soundproofing could be improved. Hygiene: Up to standard, no obvious flaws, but there's room for improvement. Environment: Located on a corner at a crossroads, with supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The subway station is right downstairs, and Changying Tianjie shopping mall is just across the street. Very convenient. However, the window faces an office building, which is quite close. Service: Excellent. Quick response and a great attitude. They even upgraded my room proactively. The breakfast was also very good, with a wide variety of options.

This stay truly exceeded our expectations, and we especially want to thank the duty manager, Alex Chi. We actually encountered a few minor issues at the beginning of our stay, and I thought it would just be an unremarkable experience. But then Alex appeared, patiently listened to our concerns, and resolved everything professionally and promptly. His attentiveness was evident in every detail – a gesture, a glance, a moment of listening – making us feel truly valued. It was a real privilege to meet such a perfect manager. The hotel's design is exceptional, especially the Library area, which is quiet and stylish; it's a delightful place just to sit and relax. The doorman was also very thoughtful, making us feel welcome every time we entered and exited. The breakfast service was excellent too, with exquisite food and prompt service. We will always remember this stay.

Amazing! We spent five nights staying in a deluxe king room with terrace/balcony at The Purple Horse Hotel in Beijing at the end of June 2026.. The location is excellent. The hotel is situated in the heart of a Hutong which offers a calm quiet and serene experience in the middle of a bustling city, only a short walk to restaurants and shops. The Hutong itself is a great experience, it's safe and friendly and we enjoyed chatting to the locals at the corner shop. The hotel is absolutely wonderful. It's less than two years old and It is finished to a really high standard, the attention to detail is incredible. It felt luxurious with the highest quality furnishings and the bathroom and shower were like something you would find in a spa. Our room had great views over the Hutong and the Beijing skyline and had excellent air conditioning. We had a buffet breakfast and a buffet dinner included and it was delicious and served in a beautiful restaurant on the top floor. Above that there was an amazing rooftop terrace with an outdoor swimming pool, a cocktail bar and 360⁰ views of the city. There is also a Peking duck restaurant on the ground floor, a gym and a self service complimentary laundry room. The best thing about this hotel is the staff. The level of service and the attentiveness of the staff is at a level that we have never experienced before. The staff are super friendly and polite and they are always trying to help. Our room was cleaned to an immaculate level every day and we were often left little gifts and kind notes. The service in the restaurant was great and once again always really kind and friendly, special mention to Nieve for looking after us so well. Anything we needed, any questions we had, the staff really went out of their way to help us and did so with big smiles on their faces and we had fun times in our interactions with them. Everyone had a good level of English, especially the front for house staff and management . If you want a comfortable, clean, modern hotel with great facilities, in a great, safe location and would like staff that will advise and help you and direct you and even organise trips and transport for you, then this is the hotel for you. We would like to thank some of the staff that really went out of their way to help us. Ella and Anduo who organised a print shop for us and helped us find some specific gift shops. Nieve for making us smile everyday in the restaurant. The housekeeping team for making our room so clean, comfortable and amazing every day. Terry the manager for being a really nice guy, for taking the time to talk to us and ask us if we needed anything everyday. And Kevin for making us some really nice tea and helping us with everything when we were checking out. We have stayed in hotels all over the world but this one will always stand out for being that little bit different, for being so immaculate and for going the extra mile. Thank you very much and we look forward to seeing you next time. John and Elizabeth.

First time in Beijing Yizhuang, and I just randomly picked the Echeng Hotel, but what a pleasant surprise! When I stay at a hotel, cleanliness is my top priority, and this place absolutely nailed it. The room was meticulously cleaned; the floors were sparkling, the desk spotless, and the bathroom tiles and toilet rim were perfectly clean, with not a single water mark or stain. The bedding looked incredibly comfortable, the duvet was soft, and the sheets and duvet cover were crisp and dry – I felt instantly relaxed lying down. The front desk lady was super nice, spoke very gently, and checked me in quickly. She was patient and helpful with all my questions. The room facilities were all very new; the air conditioning, lights, and outlets worked perfectly, and hot water was instant and at a perfect temperature. The internet speed was stable and perfectly fine for daily use. Eating out is also convenient, with small shops downstairs and within walking distance. This is my first time in Beijing, and I'm so glad I found such a satisfying hotel. I truly recommend it!

I've stayed at Ascott many times, and it's consistently excellent in all aspects. The rooms are incredibly spacious, and the amenities like the fridge and washing machine are all fully equipped. The environment is also very quiet; you barely hear any noise. It's super convenient for dining and drinks, with plenty of restaurants nearby. Firstly, the hotel's environment and facilities are excellent. However, for a hotel of this caliber, I can only give it a bad review. The service is extremely poor and lacks professional hotel management knowledge. During check-in, the front desk staff missed many details that should have been communicated, and their business handling skills and techniques need improvement. Next, I'd like to specifically mention Mark from the concierge department, whose attitude was extremely hostile, arrogant, and disrespectful. I promised you a bad review, and you'll certainly get it! I have no idea how hotel management trains their staff. After Mark learned I was a Black Diamond member, he repeatedly incited his colleagues to harass me by phone, asking me to 'go easy on them,' which brings me to the second person. The second person I'd like to name is Zhao Jing, Assistant Director of Housekeeping. I genuinely **cannot** understand how someone like this can become a mid-level manager at a hotel like InterContinental. After Mark's colleagues repeatedly harassed me by phone, I intended to give them a break. I mentioned that I had booked two rooms, and my other guest was about to arrive at the hotel to check in. I asked them to provide good service. Zhao Jing, I ask you, why in the world did you **harass** my guest when the issue was between us!? My guest reported that from check-in to riding the elevator to their room door, a staff member (Zhao Jing) kept pestering them to speak well of me and 'go easy on them'? She relentlessly badgered them the entire way. Any issues between us can be resolved directly. I had clearly stated that it was my guest. Do you, as someone who works in a hotel, not understand the meaning of the word 'guest'? I ask you! Why did you go and harass my guest?! Is this the InterContinental hotel's way of service? Who would dare bring important guests to this hotel with service like this? Furthermore, Zhao Jing repeatedly harassed me from the afternoon of check-in, to the evening, and until the next morning, despite me having clearly told her at least six or seven times, 'I do not want to receive any more texts or calls from you.' Buddy, I came to the hotel to rest. Otherwise, I could just go argue with people on a bridge all day, couldn't I? Before checking out, I had the opportunity to communicate in person with General Manager Mr. Mao. I hope Mr. Mao handles this properly, and I would like to thank him for arranging a car for my departure. On a positive note, I can commend the chef at the hotel's Chinese restaurant on the third floor; their cooking is quite skillful.

Every summer weekend, I spend a couple of days at the Commune by the Great Wall, embracing nature – it's incredibly relaxing. A special thanks to Olivier Wang. Because I stayed there a few times last summer, Ms. Wang knew I love swimming and specifically arranged a room right next to the pool. It was so convenient to just step out and be at the swimming pool. This year, the hotel has added a lot of snacks, fruits, and even smoothies in the front desk lounge area. They've also added plenty of towels for guests to use at the outdoor pool area. The restaurant still offers live cooking stations, and the food is as delicious as ever.
