It's not complicated, but who doesn't love a little surprise in life? If you're coming to this hotel, I definitely recommend the panoramic room. You can enjoy the night view of Universal. When there are no Halloween events, you can even see the castle light show. Just note that during Halloween, there's no castle light show. The hotel staff are all very enthusiastic, and the room environment is quite good. The lighting design is really interesting, but it would be great if they added an instruction manual. It was my first time, and it took me several tries to figure it out. It's fitting for a hotel of this caliber. I was in too much of a hurry and didn't have much time to experience the hotel's entertainment facilities, but among the hotels around Universal, I'd highly recommend this one.

My overall experience at Wanda Vista Beijing was great. The location is truly unbeatable, right in the CBD, making it super convenient for shopping, dining, and taking the subway. It saves a lot of hassle whether you're here for a business trip or a vacation. Although the hotel has been open for some years, the rooms are well-maintained, clean, and tidy. The bed was incredibly comfortable; after a long day of traveling, I could get a solid night's sleep. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered a fantastic view of Beijing's nightscape, creating a wonderful ambiance. The staff were very professional and polite. The concierge and front desk were responsive without being overly enthusiastic, which can sometimes feel pressuring. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices. My only minor gripe is that some of the equipment showed its age, but it didn't detract from the overall comfort of the stay. All in all, it's a very solid five-star hotel. If you're looking for convenience and comfort, I highly recommend it. I'd definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Beijing.

Amazing! We spent five nights staying in a deluxe king room with terrace/balcony at The Purple Horse Hotel in Beijing at the end of June 2026.. The location is excellent. The hotel is situated in the heart of a Hutong which offers a calm quiet and serene experience in the middle of a bustling city, only a short walk to restaurants and shops. The Hutong itself is a great experience, it's safe and friendly and we enjoyed chatting to the locals at the corner shop. The hotel is absolutely wonderful. It's less than two years old and It is finished to a really high standard, the attention to detail is incredible. It felt luxurious with the highest quality furnishings and the bathroom and shower were like something you would find in a spa. Our room had great views over the Hutong and the Beijing skyline and had excellent air conditioning. We had a buffet breakfast and a buffet dinner included and it was delicious and served in a beautiful restaurant on the top floor. Above that there was an amazing rooftop terrace with an outdoor swimming pool, a cocktail bar and 360⁰ views of the city. There is also a Peking duck restaurant on the ground floor, a gym and a self service complimentary laundry room. The best thing about this hotel is the staff. The level of service and the attentiveness of the staff is at a level that we have never experienced before. The staff are super friendly and polite and they are always trying to help. Our room was cleaned to an immaculate level every day and we were often left little gifts and kind notes. The service in the restaurant was great and once again always really kind and friendly, special mention to Nieve for looking after us so well. Anything we needed, any questions we had, the staff really went out of their way to help us and did so with big smiles on their faces and we had fun times in our interactions with them. Everyone had a good level of English, especially the front for house staff and management . If you want a comfortable, clean, modern hotel with great facilities, in a great, safe location and would like staff that will advise and help you and direct you and even organise trips and transport for you, then this is the hotel for you. We would like to thank some of the staff that really went out of their way to help us. Ella and Anduo who organised a print shop for us and helped us find some specific gift shops. Nieve for making us smile everyday in the restaurant. The housekeeping team for making our room so clean, comfortable and amazing every day. Terry the manager for being a really nice guy, for taking the time to talk to us and ask us if we needed anything everyday. And Kevin for making us some really nice tea and helping us with everything when we were checking out. We have stayed in hotels all over the world but this one will always stand out for being that little bit different, for being so immaculate and for going the extra mile. Excellent hotel! For just over 200 yuan in Beijing, having a window is a real bonus. The front desk staff were also very helpful, allowing me a late checkout for my interview. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

This location was ideal for my short layover. Conveniently located adjacent to Beijing Capital International Airport, it offers virtually every amenity you could imagine. The value is also excellent considering what you save by taking advantage of the complimentary airport shuttle service. What truly made this stay exceptional, however, was the outstanding hospitality. I ordered room service, and the food arrived hot, delicious, reasonably priced, and surprisingly high quality. Breakfast was another highlight—I highly recommend adding it to your stay, whether you dine in the restaurant or enjoy it from the comfort of your room. I especially want to recognize Deane at the guest services desk. Exceptional customer service is becoming increasingly rare, and Deane reminded me what genuine hospitality looks like. When I needed a little extra time before checking out, he patiently listened to my request, helped me work through my admittedly imperfect Chinese, and went above and beyond by arranging a special accommodation that allowed me to remain in my room beyond the standard checkout time. At no point did I feel rushed or like an inconvenience. Instead, I felt genuinely welcomed as a guest. His professionalism, kindness, and willingness to help transformed what could have been a stressful travel day into a relaxed and enjoyable experience. Employees like Deane are a tremendous asset to any hotel, and he deserves recognition for the positive impression he leaves on guests. This personalized level of customer care is exactly why I would recommend this hotel to anyone flying into or out of Beijing, and why I will absolutely stay here again. The service was excellent. We arrived a bit late, and turndown service had already been done. Someone even guided us to our room. When I lost my room key at the bar, the bartender helped me contact the front desk and retrieve it. We received a handwritten welcome letter and complimentary Beijing-style fruits and snacks, which was a nice touch. The location is superb, right next to Wangfujing Street. From the bar's terrace, you can see the Forbidden City and Chang'an Avenue. However, the public areas are quite small and, being located within a mall, feel a bit cramped.

First, we stayed in an executive room, then the Minion-themed room. Booking this room was a great surprise for the kids, and the theme itself was lovely. However, the towels were shedding quite a bit and definitely need to be replaced with better quality ones! Also, the cake seemed to have been placed in the room very early. While it's a nice surprise, most guests staying here typically come back late after a full day at Universal. So the cake felt like it had been sitting out for too long, hahahaha. The hotel is close to Exit C of Qunfang Station, which makes getting to Universal very convenient – just three stops away! The breakfast over two days didn't change much; it was decent, nothing special. I really loved the blanket in the room, hahaha, but I couldn't find it anywhere to buy! I'll definitely come back next time I'm in Beijing!

I've stayed at Ascott many times, and it's consistently excellent in all aspects. The rooms are incredibly spacious, and the amenities like the fridge and washing machine are all fully equipped. The environment is also very quiet; you barely hear any noise. It's super convenient for dining and drinks, with plenty of restaurants nearby. There's also Xiao Taihou Park close by, and it's not far from the subway station – about a 10-minute scooter ride.

Exceptional stay at Grand Concordia! The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and extremely safe for traveling with children. I accidentally left some personal items behind in my room, and the hotel staff handled it amazingly well—they shipped everything back to me via SF Express, and it arrived safely within just one day, perfectly packed! I have always trusted this hotel, and they never disappoint. Thank you so much to the wonderful staff for their honesty and efficient service!

This hotel offers pretty good value for money, with an excellent location and affordable prices. While the facilities are a bit old, they are well-maintained. However, the customer service and the female front desk staff were quite subpar. They were unwilling to offer room upgrades or late check-outs, which was disappointing. I hope they improve, as it would be a shame to waste such a great location and the efforts of most of the other staff members.
