Facilities: The room facilities are a bit old, but it doesn't affect the stay. Hygiene: The room is very clean and tidy, and the customer service staff are very enthusiastic. Environment: The hotel environment is excellent, right next to Cuihu Park, making travel convenient. The breakfast, in particular, is very special, with delicious Western pastries and a wide variety of choices. Next time I come to Kunming, I will definitely choose Junle again.

An absolutely fantastic hotel, I think it's worth staying at whether you're traveling for business or leisure. The price offers great value for money, and the rooms are truly excellent. I was upgraded to a suite, which had a very well-thought-out layout with separate living and sleeping areas. Both the city views and the resting space were superb. The swimming pool isn't large but it's very comfortable with an ideal water temperature. There's also a lovely sky garden on the gym floor. The hotel breakfast was incredibly rich and varied. The hotel is conveniently located close to Cuihu Park and Kunming Old Street, among other attractions. Overall, the experience was wonderful. This hotel truly has no shortcomings in any aspect.

This is my second stay at the Goodview Hotel, and I'm once again impressed by their service and attention to detail. The location is incredibly convenient, whether you're driving or taking the subway, flying or arriving by high-speed rail. **Facilities:** The environment is elegant and clean, and the bedding quality is excellent. All facilities are well-maintained, and the hotel lobby is beautiful and perfect for photos. **Service:** The front desk staff are professional and meticulous. Check-in and check-out are handled quickly and efficiently, and any requests are promptly addressed. **Room:** The suite's window view has always been my favorite reason for choosing Goodview. You can see the distant skyline and a panoramic view of Kunming city – a wonderful experience without even leaving the room. Highly recommended!

The room was quite spacious with a small balcony overlooking the Panlong River. It's a shame the jacarandas were a bit past their prime! The room was clean and tidy; you can always count on the hygiene of established star-rated hotels. All the staff offered service with a smile, being professional and attentive, especially the breakfast restaurant staff who were very thoughtful! The breakfast was plentiful with so many varieties, and the fruits were all very fresh! The night views around the hotel were still beautiful!

Dianchi Lake Scenic Area Kunming|8.14km from downtown
For my Yunnan vacation, I chose to stay at the InterContinental Kunming for two nights on my way through, and I was quite satisfied. The information published by the hotel on online platforms like Trip.com was accurate, and there were no unpleasant surprises. The hotel grounds are quite extensive, with a large, self-built tropical garden featuring lush greenery, ponds with waterfalls, and quaint bridges over streams, accompanied by the occasional bird song. Sitting under a pavilion there was truly delightful. This time, the hotel upgraded me to a lake-view room on the 6th floor of Building 7, where I could overlook Dianchi Lake from the balcony. The guest room was spacious and the amenities were up to standard. The service maintained the high InterContinental standard, with a warm reception at the front desk and proactive assistance with luggage from the concierge. Just a small suggestion: it would be perfect if there were clear stickers on the sides of the transparent glass shower and toilet stalls to prevent guests from accidentally bumping their heads.

I ordered takeout, but the hotel doesn't allow the deliveryman to deliver to the room because it was inconvenient for me, so I asked the front desk for help, and it was delivered to the room very quickly. When I asked the reason, the front desk guy told me that it was for the safety of the guests that the deliveryman was not allowed to go upstairs. The hotel has trained guests that if they need takeout to the room, they can help deliver it. The overall feeling of the hotel is good, and the service attitude is very good. When I checked in, I asked about the surrounding attractions and routes, and they explained it very patiently. The room internet connection was very fast, and I asked the waiter, who told me that each room has an independent dedicated line. The room feels clean, and you can swim, exercise, and take a hot spring bath. Since I had a lot of fun, I didn't have time to take a few photos of the hotel. I will take more photos after I check in next time.

Was given complimentary fruit upon arrival and a drink before bed. The facilities are indeed a bit old, but well-maintained. Breakfast is served at the revolving restaurant on the 20th/23rd floor. Back in the early 2000s when I was in Kunming, the chef at their restaurant was from Shanghai, and it became my go-to spot for a good meal. Almost 20 years later, the service and hygiene are still good, but the pan-fried buns for breakfast aren't as tasty as they used to be.

Kunming Changshui International Airport Kunming|22.28km from downtown
We had a pleasant stay at this hotel before catching a morning flight. We found it very good value for money. The room was spacious and the hotel was very quiet. The beds are quite hard but we didn't mind that. The hotel is about 25-min walk from the airport and seems to have a shuttle to take clients to the airport but they didn't tell us about this when we checked-in so we had to take a taxi when we could have planned better our schedule to make it to the shuttle. Ask about this when you check-in! I would recommend against getting the breakfast. It didn't have many good options and most dishes were very oily. They have a noodle station that we didn't try, so if you like this kind of breakfast, maybe it's worth it for you. Despite this we would still likely stay here again if we wanted to be near the airport.

The hotel's location is truly excellent, being very close to the airport. This is a huge bonus for travelers catching early flights or those who have just landed. The hotel offers a 24-hour free airport shuttle service, and the driver was incredibly punctual and friendly, making me feel welcome as soon as I arrived and eliminating any worries about transportation to the hotel. The room itself was also very satisfying. It was clean and tidy, with no unpleasant odors, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, allowing me to get good rest during my trip. The soundproofing was also very effective; I couldn't hear any airplane noise at all, which ensured a peaceful night's sleep. All the facilities, including the air conditioning, TV, and shower, were fully functional and convenient to use. What truly stood out was the hotel's service. The front desk staff handled check-in and check-out very efficiently, and they were both warm and professional. They even proactively offered information about nearby dining and shopping options. Furthermore, the hotel's breakfast was plentiful with a good variety of choices and excellent taste, which helped me start my day off right.

South Asia Feature No. 1 City Kunming|2.91km from downtown
Five out of five stars, highly recommended! I stayed at this upscale city hotel in Kunming and was impressed by the attentive service from the front desk staff throughout my stay – it truly exceeded my expectations. The hotel boasts an excellent location, right next to a bustling commercial area, making it very convenient for getting around. The lobby design is grand and impressive. On the day we checked in, the lobby was quite busy. While the bellhops were occupied assisting other guests and handling luggage, the front office manager immediately stepped in, enthusiastically took our bags, and personally escorted us to our room. Along the way, he patiently introduced the hotel's amenities, breakfast times, and local attractions. I later learned he had only recently joined the hotel, but his professionalism was evident, and his explanations were perfectly tailored and insightful. Traveling with a child can be challenging. After my child's bath in the evening, it was inconvenient to go downstairs to send a package. After contacting the front desk, they arranged for someone to pick up our takeout. We didn't have to go back and forth at all, which genuinely solved a common hassle when traveling with kids. These small details really show their thoughtfulness.

This is my go-to hotel whenever I visit Kunming! The location is truly unbeatable, right by Cuihu Lake. It feels like the entire lake is my private backyard, making it super convenient for a stroll and enjoying the scenery. Plus, transportation around here is excellent, so getting around is never an issue. Despite being in a bustling area, the rooms are incredibly quiet, ensuring a fantastic night's sleep. A pleasant surprise was the complimentary late-night snack every evening, which was authentic and delicious. The streets nearby are brimming with unique coffee shops, atmospheric bars, and indie boutiques – a perfect one-stop spot for shopping and dining. Breakfast

Dianchi Lake Scenic Area Kunming|8.2km from downtown
The hotel service was excellent! The butler contacted me in advance via WeChat and was incredibly warm and attentive. The room was clean and comfortable, and the environment was good. However, there was some noise at night from what sounded like a performance somewhere, and construction noise during the day. It's very close to Dianchi Lake, which was convenient for sightseeing and getting around. The breakfast was very mediocre, though. The croissants were as hard as rocks, and the melamine bowls for the rice noodles were old, worn, and peeling. I really have to wonder where the hotel thinks its five-star guest experience comes from? The Chinese restaurant wasn't good either. I hope the hotel can improve its dining quality and understand that a truly five-star review can only come from meticulous service details and an excellent overall stay experience!

This stay truly exceeded my expectations, and I have to give it a huge thumbs up! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I felt that meticulous care. The bedding in the room was just right – neither too soft nor too firm – and the wet/dry separation in the bathroom was very thoughtfully designed. Add to that the staff's professional and prompt service, and it made this trip exceptionally relaxed and comfortable. It's definitely the top choice for both business trips and leisure getaways.
