Staying at Junle (Joyland) in Kunming was a real gem! Cuihu Park is right outside, and it's just a 10-minute walk to the Yunnan Military Academy, Yunnan University, and Wenlin Street. You can even see the shimmering waters of Cuihu Lake from the window. The oversized bay window in the room is a highlight. While it's an older five-star hotel, it's well-maintained. The breakfast offers a great variety, and the Yunnan rice noodles are a must-try. The location is definitely a major advantage! If you're traveling with elders or just don't want any hassle, this is absolutely the right place to stay.

During my check-in, Ms. Jin at the front desk helped me choose a relatively quiet room. She greeted me proactively every time we met. Ms. Xu at the front desk assisted me with my room change and warmly saw me off to my car when I checked out. Both are dedicated employees. The central air conditioning in the room was old; after repairs, the effect was not significant. The showerhead was loose and drooping but was fixed and restored to normal. In the breakfast restaurant, they would sweep the floor even before guests had left; after being reminded, it happened again on the third day, which was very impolite and unhygienic. I missed out on soy milk twice as it wasn't refilled promptly. The restaurant management needs improvement, and the guest room hardware should be regularly inspected and maintained. As an international chain hotel, it should enhance its image. The decor is modern, simple, bright, and has an international flair.

An established five-star hotel with surprisingly great value for money! We happened to check in when rooms were scarce, and they kindly upgraded our room for free. The room had an expansive view, which immediately enhanced our experience. The service was attentive and meticulous throughout our stay. It truly lives up to its reputation as a long-standing, well-regarded establishment. Definitely worth a return visit.

This is a fantastic hotel, a seasoned five-star establishment that offers excellent value for money and exceeded my expectations! The day before check-in, the butler called to inquire about our needs. Upon arrival, a bellhop immediately helped us with our luggage and assisted with the check-in process. The room was spacious with a small balcony. Although the hotel is older, all facilities are well-equipped, and the attention to detail really shines through! During our stay, when we encountered an issue and contacted the butler, they were incredibly proactive in resolving it. The service attitude was truly beyond five stars! On the 4th floor, the executive lounge offers afternoon tea, and the pastries are even better than those found in many patisseries. There's also a light dinner available during the evening. Breakfast is served on the 2nd floor, with a wide variety of dishes, including many local specialties. The service staff are all very attentive and friendly; they even help pack food for guests who need it. The hotel's location is also excellent. The nearby Dongfeng Square is beautifully decorated, and the surrounding area has a vibrant local atmosphere. It's only about 300 meters on foot to Nanqiang Pedestrian Street, which leads directly to Nanping Pedestrian Street and Jinma Biji Archway. It's also very close to two subway stations (Dongfeng Square and Tangzixiang), and there's a bus stop right in front of the hotel.

This garden hotel is absolutely stunning! The garden is like a huge energy field; a walk through it every evening recharges you. A big thank you to the lovely front desk lady who arranged a beautiful room with a direct view of the garden – it was so refreshing to open the window each day. The swimming pool is also fantastic! It's deep and spacious, with excellent water quality, making for a truly enjoyable swim. The room was cleaned promptly, and the housekeepers thoughtfully left four bottles of water, all neatly arranged! I was able to add the butler on WeChat, and during my five-night stay, I received fruit for three days, and two cans of coffee as a farewell gift! Our room rate included breakfast and dinner, and for all five nights, the food at the restaurant was consistently excellent! The Yunnan local dishes, in particular, were so delicious they almost brought tears to my eyes! The rice noodles were incredible, with four different types of toppings! I had rice noodles for both breakfast and dinner! The fruit selection was also abundant, with seven or eight varieties. I especially loved their freshly squeezed juices, particularly the cucumber juice. And they have an Indian chef whose flying bread and curry are simply divine! The location is superb! A short walk through Haigeng Hall leads you directly to Haigeng Dam, making it incredibly convenient to see the seagulls! Xishan and Haihong Wetland are also not far, perfect for a leisurely stroll. I hope to stay at InterContinental Hotel again on my next visit to Dianchi Lake. The quality and service far exceeded my expectations!

I ordered takeout, but the hotel doesn't allow the deliveryman to deliver to the room because it was inconvenient for me, so I asked the front desk for help, and it was delivered to the room very quickly. When I asked the reason, the front desk guy told me that it was for the safety of the guests that the deliveryman was not allowed to go upstairs. The hotel has trained guests that if they need takeout to the room, they can help deliver it. The overall feeling of the hotel is good, and the service attitude is very good. When I checked in, I asked about the surrounding attractions and routes, and they explained it very patiently. The room internet connection was very fast, and I asked the waiter, who told me that each room has an independent dedicated line. The room feels clean, and you can swim, exercise, and take a hot spring bath. Since I had a lot of fun, I didn't have time to take a few photos of the hotel. I will take more photos after I check in next time.

Upon check-in, I received complimentary welcome fruits: an apple, an orange, and two cherry tomatoes. The front desk staff were very patient. When they understood I wasn't satisfied with my room on the first day, they not only arranged a new room but also helped transfer my luggage. Big thumbs up! The breakfast offered a good mix of Western and Chinese options, including some delicious Yunnan specialty dishes. My suggestions would be to perform some maintenance on the furniture, as some pieces were peeling, and to increase the hot water temperature in the shower. Overall, Jinjiang is still a trustworthy brand.

Although the room lighting was a bit dim, the garden was absolutely beautiful! It had large blossoms, including plum, winter cherry, and roses, which were all stunning! The hotel shares an owner with the Lavande next door, and the view outside the window was also lovely. Their breakfast included a particularly delicious small pot of rice noodles, and the fruit was great too. The service was superb, with multiple shuttle services to and from the airport every day. I would definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit!

While the hotel room facilities are a bit dated, with old carpets and a slightly cramped bathroom with only one sink, the strong water pressure made for a comfortable shower. The air conditioning was just okay, and the soundproofing was decent. As an older five-star hotel, Wanda Vista truly shines in its service. Front desk manager Mr./Ms. Yang was kind and friendly, helping us arrange an extended stay and providing excellent advice and assistance with our Yunnan travel plans. The front desk is often a guest's first impression, and we're very grateful to Mr./Ms. Yang for starting our stay off so well. The restaurant's breakfast offered a good variety, and the taste was acceptable. The breakfast staff were incredibly sincere and service-oriented in their greetings and assistance. I even noticed one or two pregnant staff members in the breakfast area who were still meticulously and efficiently going about their work. The executive lounge didn't have a huge selection of dishes, but everything was fresh and replenished promptly. The housekeeping staff were also very friendly, and the room was kept clean. The hotel's location is super convenient. Overall, it's definitely worth another stay.

Beautiful hotel. Bed was comfortable with full pillow selection! Bathroom had separate shower and bath tub. It is connected to a mall and easy walk to alot of wonderful food and shopping which was helpful when it was raining. We truly appreciated the desk staff. My husband had left an item on the train. They contacted the station on our behalf and helped to find it and arrange for us to pick it up. This was only a connection to our next destination but it was a welcomed stop. Definitely explore! We found the most wonderful bakery by walking aimlessly while enjoying the city views.

The breakfast was a delightful taste of Yunnan, with steam pot chicken soup and Yunnan rice noodles that were absolutely delicious. The service was consistently excellent, warm and attentive. There weren't many power outlets in the room; only one charging port by the bed, and another near the sink, which was a bit insufficient for charging two devices. The room lighting wasn't extensive, perhaps due to the room's square footage. However, the bedding was incredibly comfortable, making it the most comfortable hotel I've slept in recently. For families traveling with children, I'd strongly recommend the hotel upgrade the bathroom privacy screen; regardless of the child's age, it's a bit inconvenient. Otherwise, everything was fantastic. Parking was convenient, and it's right across the street from Green Lake Park, with a wonderful surrounding environment.

Atmosphere: As an InterContinental five-star hotel, the ambiance is, of course, top-notch! The overall Southeast Asian resort style immediately puts you in a vacation mood upon arrival. Facilities: While not as brand new as some newly opened hotels, it boasts a large area and beautiful scenery. The hotel offers various excellent facilities, including a swimming pool, hot tubs, and a gym. Breakfast is also very extensive, featuring local Yunnan specialties. Additionally, the hotel's Chinese restaurant offers incredibly good value for a five-star establishment, with several dishes definitely worth trying. Service: Our butler contacted us a day in advance and even provided an activity catalog for our stay. The next day, we experienced local 'Jiama' woodblock printing, which was really enjoyable!

I first booked this hotel in Kunming when I went to Dali, and I chose it again when I returned from Dali. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are spacious, and the price is reasonable. It's a 20-minute walk to Wanda Plaza, or you can take an e-bike. I really liked their breakfast and the laundry room; it was clearly maintained by a dedicated person, very clean and tidy. I'm planning to book this hotel again next time I visit Kunming specifically for a trip. Plus, there's a great restaurant downstairs – a stir-fry place that's quite authentic, but I forgot its name.

Staying at this hotel was such a pleasant surprise! The front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive throughout my entire stay, providing meticulous and thoughtful service. The bed in the room was wonderfully soft and comfortable – I instantly felt all my travel fatigue melt away. I also really appreciated the smart dry/wet separation design in the bathroom, which made it super convenient to use. The overall decor beautifully blended Chinese style with ethnic elements, creating a charming and classic ambiance that felt truly relaxing. My overall experience was fantastic!

Overall we enjoyed our stay at 26 Life hotel thank to the staffs and its location. What we like most here: 1. Staff: Xiao Bai and Xiao Wan, the 2 receptionists are lovely guys. Xiao Bai pick us up outside of the buiding to help us with the luggage. He is also professional in handling his work. he seems a bit serious on his face but once you know him, he is a nice guy. Xiao Wan is a lovely young boy. We talked a lot, he made us yummy milk tea, bought for us ice crea, fruit tea....and gave us some sourvenir. They are the ones made my stay here. Thank you guys! Moreover the hotel staffs also helped to received a package for me before my check in. 2. Location: it locates on the 4th floor of a building. It has a good location, where we can access easily to the shopping mall, the food stores. There is a small food court on the ground floor of the same building. The 1st store after the stair case once you enter the building sells pretty good noodles. 3. The balcony: my room is 201, with a balcony overlooking the garden on the ground and an open space to the big building in front, which gave us a peaceful corner to sit and talk and enjoy the nice spring weather. 4. The costume: the hotel offers free Miao costume to wear and take photo inside the hotel. Xiao Wan, the receptionist also help to take soem nice photos for us. What should be improved: 1. The cleanliness: the room facilities were a bit old but the cleanliness is definitely something can be changed and improved: like the table in the balcony, which should have been clean the surface. 2. The amenities: the big bath towels are torn out at the 2 edges. They can be reused as footmat or rag to recycle. New bath towel should be seriously considered. 3. The TV: A slow internet connection is causing the TV to stutter and lag, making it impossible to watch.making it not enjoyable to watch.

I always stay here when I travel for work. It's an 18-minute drive from Changshui Airport, and they even pick you up in the middle of the night without requiring a shared ride. The airport drop-off is also very punctual, which is crucial for business travelers. The lobby on the first floor is grand, and the lounge area is spacious, making it a quiet place to work while enjoying a cup of milk tea. The cafe allows you to DIY your coffee, and the staff provide simple guidance, resulting in a flavor I really enjoyed. The front desk service is patient, and the overall experience is smooth.
