LLomarThe location is absolutely fantastic! It's just a 10-minute walk to Yu Garden and Chenghuang Temple, and very convenient to get to the Bund. Exploring and dining couldn't be easier. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and even offered helpful travel tips, which was a huge plus. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the separate wet and dry bathroom was a pleasure to use. The breakfast selection was rich, and the freshly wrapped xiaolongbao were incredibly authentic. To find such great value for money in this area truly exceeded my expectations. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Shanghai!

After check-out each day, the cleaning staff meticulously cleans, even sanitizing and wiping down high-touch areas like remote controls and doorknobs. GGuest UserThe front desk staff were really great; one of the male staff even gave me hot mineral water and local specialties when I left. When I couldn't get the hot water to work in my room, a female staff member was quick to help, and they personally delivered my takeaway orders to my room. There's also hot coffee available in the lobby. The hotel's close proximity to the subway is another plus. The only downsides were having to get up early for breakfast to avoid queuing for a table, and there's only one elevator. The room was a bit small and the facilities were older, but it was very clean and quiet. Also, it looked like some of the toiletries had been used, but thankfully I hadn't brought many of my own. Overall, it was a comfortable stay.

KKuailechuxing339This is an established hotel in Lujiazui, well-maintained with excellent service. They called me a day in advance and accommodated my request for an early check-in at 12 PM so my child could nap, which was fantastic! A definite thumbs-up. Our room faced the 'Three-piece Suit' (Lujiazui's iconic skyscrapers), and the light show on Shanghai Tower was beautiful.
After check-in, a foreign staff member (I forgot her name, but she was lovely) escorted us to our room and even gave my child crayons and a drawing book, which made her very happy. Before dinner at 5 PM, this wonderful staff member took us to the outdoor viewing deck on the 58th floor to enjoy the scenery. Lujiazui, the Huangpu River, and the Bund opposite, all bathed in the sunset glow, were dreamlike and poetic ā truly breathtaking.
Breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, both Chinese and Western, and the taste was superb. Enjoying a delicious breakfast while watching the Oriental Pearl Tower sparkle in the sunlight was such a joy. Even my 3-year-old said the hotel was beautiful and wants to come back again!

GGuest UserAtour is always my top choice when traveling, and this Bund branch is incredibly convenient. It's just a few minutes' walk to the Bund, and getting around for shopping and dining is super easy ā everything is close by.
Comfort is consistently excellent: comfortable mattresses and pillows, thoughtful laundry service, and the warm midnight congee always melt away travel fatigue. The staff are always smiling, and that hot tea at check-in instantly washes away the dust from your journey. I particularly love the 'naked cotton' bedding; it's so skin-friendly and breathable that I always sleep soundly through the night.
From the moment you walk in until you leave, every detail is just right. Next time I'm in Shanghai, for the convenience and comfort alone, I'll definitely choose to stay here again.

We celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary there, and the team made it incredibly special for us. They thoughtfully decorated our room and surprised us with cakes and fruits as a kind gesture. We truly appreciated the effort ā it made our celebration even more memorable.
Our room was spacious, beautifully maintained, and offered breathtaking views of the city skyline. We especially loved the in-room mini pool ā the highlight of our stay was simply relaxing and enjoying a bath while taking in the view.
Tales Rooftop Bar was another standout experience. Itās the perfect place to appreciate the stunning city and river views while enjoying drinks. They offer both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, and we were pleasantly surprised with complimentary snacks as well.
Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of Western and Chinese options. Aside from the buffet selection, guests can also order freshly prepared dishes like noodles and eggs, which are served hot ā a wonderful touch.
The staff were incredibly professional, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. They made us feel valued and were always ready to assist with a warm smile. The overall ambiance of the hotel is peaceful and relaxing, making it a perfect retreat despite being in a vibrant city like Shanghai.
We highly recommend Banyan Tree Shanghai and look forward to returning in the future.
