📒 The Short Answer: What is Scoot's Power Bank Limit?

Cabin only: Power banks are treated as spare lithium batteries and must go in your hand-carry, never in checked baggage. 

Under 100Wh: Allowed in cabin, up to Scoot’s general limit of spare lithium batteries per passenger only for personal use (combined with other spares like camera batteries). 

100–160Wh: Maximum of 2 pieces per passenger; must be protected from damage and short circuit; carriage is subject to airline approval.

Above 160Wh: Completely prohibited on Scoot flights, whether carry-on or checked. 

No using power bank in flight: you cannot use a power bank to charge your phone, nor charge the power bank itself via USB at your seat during the entire flight.

Grab your power bank's specs: mAh capacity and voltage (V, often 3.7V). Use this formula: Wh = (mAh × V) / 1000. 

Examples: 10,000 mAh at 3.7V = 37 Wh (fine); 27,000 mAh at 3.7V ≈ 100 Wh (max without approval).

• Calculate Wh first: If over 160Wh, do not bring it to the airport.
