"This hotel was a very comfortable stay. They offer a complimentary airport shuttle service, and the driver was helpful with loading our luggage into the car, which was very convenient. Check-in at the front desk was quick, and seeing that we had a child with us, they kindly upgraded our room for free. The beds in the upgraded room could be pushed together, which was great. They also proactively asked for my flight time to recommend the best shuttle departure. The room itself was clean, and the bed was very comfortable! I'd definitely come back again if I have the chance. [Rose emoji]"

"Our stay in Beijing was truly a 5-star experience for the three of us, even with a language barrier. From check-in onward, the staff went out of their way to help—using translation apps, hand gestures, and constant warm smiles. Communication was never an issue because the hospitality felt sincere and thoughtful. One highlight we all loved was the free laundry service. After long days of walking and sightseeing, having clean clothes without extra cost felt like a real luxury and made our trip so much easier. We were also pleasantly surprised by the free snacks, always available and perfect for late nights or quick bites before heading out. It's a shame I didn't have time to try the heated pool. The attention to detail in the service truly reflects the soft power of an international brand. Manager Yang Minghan at the front desk proactively upgraded our room and arranged breakfast for my child. Although it's a bit of a distance from the terminal, it didn't detract from a 100% fantastic stay! 🎉🎉🎉"

"🌟 **Incredibly Safe** This area is constantly patrolled and checked by police (I was lucky enough to have my ID checked, and they almost wanted to check my luggage too!). It's Tiananmen Square after all, truly the heart of Beijing! 🌟 **Incredibly Reassuring** For frequent hotel guests like me, a shower with a rain head, a mirror not facing the bed, and a separate wet/dry bathroom are all incredibly important – no need to elaborate on why! 🌟 **Incredibly Immersive** The hotel's design, from the rooms to the furnishings, the incense, tea appreciation, and cloisonné craftsmanship, all perfectly capture the unique culture and atmosphere of the Forbidden City. In the morning, the moment I drew back the curtains after a sip of water, I was absolutely stunned!"

"A friend was transiting through Beijing, so I booked them a room at the Hilton Beijing Capital Airport in advance. My friend was extremely satisfied and particularly impressed by Front Desk Manager Zhao Yajing. Manager Zhao was very professional, she provided a detailed overview of the hotel's restaurants and gym operating hours, and even escorted my friend to the elevator. My friend felt very valued, and it made me look good too. Thanks again, Manager Zhao! Aside from the slightly worn carpet, everything else in the hotel was quite luxurious."

All the staff of the are looking forward to your visit in Beijing and will make you feel the warm service of home。Warm reminder: If you take a taxi to the hotel, please locate "Green Zone D, Qianmen Street Parking Lot".

"The best thing about this hotel is its location. It's right in the heart of the lively and vibrant Qianmen Street, situated between two subway stations (one is a 5-minute walk away, the other about 7 minutes), and it's neighboring Tian'anmen and the Forbidden City. In the traditional hutongs, you can find food to suit every taste, as well as souvenirs and other shops. The hotel itself isn't new, but it's generally clean and pleasant. I didn't have to interact with the staff much, except for check-in, but that was quick and quite friendly, so the service was okay. The room itself was quite clean, but if you wanted to be picky, you could find something. There was a window in the room, but it was sealed shut and covered from the outside, so there was no way to air out the room, which I would have liked. The room was always stocked with bottled water, towel sets, slippers, shampoo (no conditioner), shower gel, body lotion, a toothbrush kit, a shaving kit, and a hairdryer. The shower and toilet worked fine, and there were no issues with the water. The biggest downside for me was the acoustics. I woke up several times in the morning with the feeling that someone was talking right in my room, even though it was actually in the hallway. You should be prepared for that. In summary: This is an excellent option for those looking for a budget hotel in the very heart of Beijing. Even the standard rooms have a vibe of traditional China. For a 3-star hotel at this price, it's a fantastic option. I hope your experience is no worse, and maybe even better, than mine."

"## Environment: The ambiance is decent, and the hallway carpets are quite plush. There are also plenty of rooms. It's about a four to five-minute walk from the eastern side of the arrival hall. The location is excellent! ## Facilities: Pretty much everything you'd expect is there. The bathroom sink, toilet, and various lights are all well-equipped. ## Hygiene: I carefully checked the bedding, and it seemed freshly changed, which was good. However, there was noticeable hair under the stand where the slippers were kept (forgot to take a picture, never mind). Since I was only staying for a short layover, it was acceptable. ## Service: I mainly only experienced check-in/out, which was normal. There were quite a few people when I arrived, so there was a queue. ## A minor issue: Uh… I'm not sure if this is specific to my room, but the bathroom isn't strictly wet/dry separated, and there isn't much of a step down from the room to the bathroom. The water pressure was excellent for showering, but the drainage was just so-so. The water only started draining quickly after I turned off the shower. As for the toilet, it goes without saying that the area around it was all wet, and pretty much the entire room outside, except for small corners like under the nightstand with the phone line, got soaked. I think adjusting the drain outlet would largely solve this problem. My stay was very short this time, and it met my main needs, so I didn't bother asking housekeeping to deal with the water or get another pair of dry slippers."

"This Chinese New Year, I brought my whole family, including seniors and children. We chose this hotel based on good reviews and the swimming pool. Upon arrival, it was as excellent as ever, and the front desk upgraded our room type. We were a group of seven, and they kindly upgraded our package and provided extra beds. Overall, the experience was fantastic. The executive lounge dining was superb; afternoon tea extended until 7:30 PM, and it was uncrowded with a great ambiance, perfect for a family dinner. The evening pool was absolutely amazing – it felt like being at a Bali resort right here in Beijing! The kids loved it and played for two days straight. I'd definitely recommend it for future visits."

Hotel near Qianmen (Front Gate) and Chongwenmen Commercial Area,Beijing
The hotel is located at the south end of the pedestrian street, and is a 15-minute walk from Tiananmen Square. The hotel is close to Zhushikou Station on Metro Line 7, which is a 3-minute walk away. The subway can go directly to Beijing Universal Studios without changing trains. The hotel is surrounded by Quanjude Roast Duck Restaurant, Donglaishun, Xianyukou Food Street, Dashilan Commercial Street, Madame Tussauds, Deyun Club and Liu Laogen Grand Stage, etc., whether it is food or entertainment, it will offer you an extraordinary experience. The design concept of the hotel is retro Republic of China style, and the traditional cultural atmosphere fully renders the characteristics of old Beijing. You can enjoy the scenery of Qianmen Pedestrian Street in your spare time. The hotel has more than 100 rooms of different styles to meet the needs of every guest and experience a different stay. All the staff of the hotel are collectively waiting for your visit in Beijing.

"Location: Its location on Qianmen Tianjie, right in a shopping street, is a huge plus. To get there from Zhushikou Station (Line 7), take Exit A, turn left (don't go into Liangshidian Street), then walk about 20 meters further and turn into Qianmen Tianjie. Hygiene: Both the hotel and the bathroom had an odor. It's that general musty smell some hotels have. Facilities: The hotel has a retro, 'In the Mood for Love' vibe overall, but the long corridors might feel a bit creepy to kids. The TCL TV was old. You needed VIP access to watch anything, and I had to ask staff to replace the remote. The central air conditioning couldn't be adjusted. I didn't hear any sound of it running. Perhaps the temperature is centrally controlled in winter. Luckily, it wasn't cold. The soundproofing is terrible. You can hear pretty much everything clearly. Service: The service from the staff and front desk was decent. They upgraded my room to one with a big window. I also received a small gift upon check-out, which was a nice touch, and they offer luggage storage. The hotel price was around 400+ RMB per night before the Lantern Festival. When I tried to extend my stay for an extra night, my request for a discount was denied, and I was asked to rebook through the platform for 570 RMB a night (I understand price fluctuations, but that's a bit expensive 😒). Summary: As other guests have mentioned in their reviews, I checked the negative reviews for other hotels nearby for a few days, and they're all pretty similar. The main points are: The location and service are good. The facilities are not great; the walls are thin, leading to poor soundproofing. The TV and air conditioning are subpar, and the bathroom has an odor. The old Shanghai/Hong Kong decor style makes the long corridors feel scary to kids, and it might take a few days to get used to. It's not a bright and airy style."

MmindyTThis hotel is an absolute hidden gem. From the moment we arrived, we felt so well taken care of. It feels like a Ritz-Carlton but with even warmer, more personal service. The corridors are lined with plush carpets, the materials and finishes are all rich and top-notch, and my child immediately described it as “posh” — I’d add that it’s also very zen, peaceful and quiet. The room is generously sized, quiet and very zen. The hotel is new, modern and “smart”: when you get out of bed in the morning, a soft foot light comes on automatically so you don’t have to scramble for switches. The kids loved pressing buttons to close the curtains, and I liked being able to choose between work lighting and cosy ambience at a single touch. Service here is outstanding. Everyone is fully dedicated, responsible, warm and kind — and very prompt. Nothing is ever too much trouble; everything is handled politely, respectfully and thoughtfully, so you really feel safe and well looked after. The team also has a lovely sense of humour, which adds to the comfort and makes the stay feel relaxed and friendly rather than stiff. On top of that, they even helped me plan safe and cost-effective travel options — such amazing, value-added service. Special thanks to Xiaoyu and Xiaoliu, who were excellent throughout. Xiaoyu especially made the extra effort to be promptly on hand via WeChat, helping with any queries even after hours — it honestly felt like having a friend there with us. The rest of the team were equally attentive and caring, and I noticed everyone would greet the guests, including the cleaners. It is a very well-run hotel: not just following instructions but offering real service from the heart. When we checked out, they even surprised us with bags of lovely snacks, which was such a sweet and thoughtful gesture. Breakfast was wonderful. The spread has everything one could ever need: noodles and omelettes cooked on the spot with a rich meat stew, a choice of porridges (I especially liked the millet), plus Western and kid-friendly options, and many different drinks to choose from. Insider tip: don’t miss the croissant — it has egg custard inside as a filling! The toiletries, like the shampoo and soap, are specially made and feel high quality — another small touch that shows how much care has gone into the details. The location is incredibly convenient. Huge malls and a hypermart are literally at the doorstep, and the MRT/subway is linked directly to the hotel. The nearby malls and eateries are massive and have everything you could possibly want. There’s an outlet mall about 15 minutes away, so shopping is definitely covered. Practical bonuses: major banks are right downstairs, and if you need to change RMB, the exchange rate is very good and the fees are reasonable. There’s even a salon if you feel like getting a new haircut during your stay. Through the connected mall, you can find food of every kind, including Michelin-starred options — including a restaurant that serves crab cooked in liquor and delicious braised radish. Although the hotel is luxurious, modern and packed with smart features, what I treasure most is the dedication, warmth and sincerity of the staff. I’ve stayed at many other hotel chains, but this experience is way beyond anything I’ve had before. This stay has now set a very high bar for other hotels to match. Highly, highly recommended.

XXiaowanziwennibenFacilities: All-inclusive, everything you could possibly need. Cleanliness: Great, much better than the CitiGO I stayed at last time in Wuxi. Environment: Located in China Resources City, close to Fenghuanghui and Lilane, and very near to Sanyuanqiao Exit D. Both dining and transportation are extremely convenient. Service: All the staff, from the front desk to the laundry room to the floor service, were excellent 👍 Very enthusiastic, thoughtful, and polite. Highly satisfied. The hotel was full of guests, very lively, and had a festive atmosphere, like Chinese New Year. The heating was very strong, so much so that I had to open the window for ventilation. Beijing has been quite warm recently; it would be good to turn down the central air conditioning's heating a bit, it would save electricity and be more comfortable. The auntie in the laundry room was very responsible, and there was also a tall, fair-skinned girl with long hair at the front desk who was very polite.

GGuest UserI chose Mingzhu Hotel for my son's early morning flight from Daxing Airport for his overseas studies, mainly because of its affordable price and close proximity to the terminal. I was pleasantly surprised to learn it's actually a China Southern Airlines' own hotel. The facilities, cleanliness, and service all far exceeded my expectations. We were three people staying in a double room, and the hotel even provided an extra set of towels and toiletries. There was a minor incident during our stay, but considering it wasn't a big deal and I felt for the cleaning staff, I didn't report it to the hotel. To my surprise, the hotel staff somehow found out and proactively came to our room to apologize, even offering a set of branded toiletries. This level of service is truly commendable. It was a very pleasant stay, and I've decided that given the opportunity, we will definitely choose this hotel again in the future. Thumbs up to the Mingzhu Hotel staff! 👍

GGuest UserThis is hands down the best value-for-money hotel I've stayed at in Beijing. The front desk kindly upgraded me to a suite for free, which was incredibly spacious. They even have robots to deliver items, and the restaurant has a nice ambiance. The location is super convenient with great transport links and plenty of shops nearby. The room facilities show great attention to detail, especially the well-designed separate toilet and even bathrobes! Plus, the TV has wireless screen mirroring. Despite a few minor imperfections, they don't overshadow the overall excellent experience. Highly recommended!

BBaluosidaoyueyunThis hotel is located on the east side of Beijing, right by the 3rd Ring Road. So, if you're arriving at Beijing South Station, it's quite a trek (which I experienced). The surrounding area has good amenities; downstairs, there's a noodle shop and a lamb soup restaurant, both with decent food. About 700 meters from the hotel, there are highly-rated Peking duck and hotpot restaurants, and they weren't crowded, so no waiting in line. The rooms are spacious enough for two adults and two children. The breakfast buffet is extensive, but the price is a bit high.

MM473853****I was a bit hesitant to book this hotel after seeing some negative reviews, but I ended up choosing it because of its proximity to my office. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was excellent value for money. The room was spacious and clean, and the heating worked well. The multi-functional area in the basement was a thoughtful touch; I could read a book while my laundry was washing, and there were even treadmills available. Overall, a really good experience.

SSuper_PaiThe hotel is located in the CBD, very close to the CCTV Tower. The room offers a city view, which is visible from both the main room and the bathroom – quite nice at night. The room, decorated in a new Chinese style, is a good size at over 40 square meters, though the furniture is a bit dated. When we checked in, my friend had a bit of a disagreement with the front desk staff that wasn't resolved well. While my friend can be a bit short-tempered, the front desk's response lacked professionalism and emotional intelligence, which ultimately led my friend to cancel the reservation in anger and move to the Rosewood next door.

AAnonymous UserThis hotel has an absolutely superb location! I'm not sure why it's called a 'restaurant' (饭店), I didn't specifically ask. I also didn't see any F&B department, so maybe it's been repurposed? Facilities: The decor is very simple and basic. Nothing too special, but it's very clean. Hygiene: Quite clean. The room was thoughtfully arranged and tidied, and there was even a small tea set. Environment: The exterior looks beautiful, but the interior decoration is just average. Service: Excellent. They specifically called me before I arrived to confirm and mentioned that the room had a slight smell of disinfectant, in case I minded. I didn't smell it when I got there. But I was really touched and warmed by the front desk's gesture. I especially want to commend the young man at the front desk; he was very conscientious and responsible. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit the area. It's incredibly convenient, very close to the Forbidden City. Plus, as soon as you step out of the alley, you're at Longfu Temple. Pretty good!
