Anonymous UserThe hotel's location is fantastic, super convenient for all of Melbourne's attractions. The room with a balcony was airy and comfortable, but the housekeeping was quite poor (bloodstains on the duvet cover + worn-out sheets), and the in-room facilities were noticeably old. However, the front desk was proactive in addressing these room issues. Overall, for the 4 nights we stayed, it was the Westin as usual.

This was a trip with my wife in Melbourne for a few days before we head off to Tassie. We stayed at the loft room (note the loft bedrooms are located on lower floors, ours was on 2nd floor). On the arrival day, while we were off loading our luggages from our car (there were a few bags as we had just gone to a vineyard and had purchased 4 bottles), the 2 guards at the back door entrance, whom have clearly saw us, but didn’t assist with the luggage, nor inform the front desk to assist us. We ended up carrying the multiple luggages (along with the 4 wine bottles) while the guards watched. On the second day, the guards were friendly - they assisted with doors and greeted us. On cleanliness, after first night, our toothpaste was empty but cleaning staff did not replace with a new set, but overall room was clean to basic standard. However, our room had a bit of odd well on second night (first night was fine) not sure what the issue was but it did smell like kitchen cooking smell (we didn’t cook there). Breakfast was of good value and the staff working there were friendly and very responsive, I would probably say that the best experience was our breakfast thought out our stay there.

Guest UserI stayed at the Park Hyatt Melbourne on my solo trip and was very satisfied with the overall experience. The room was spacious and quiet, and the housekeeping was meticulous. The bedding was comfortable, leading to a great night's sleep. The hotel environment is elegant, and the location is quite convenient, with a luxurious ambiance throughout. The staff were professional and polite; both check-in and check-out were very smooth. The facilities are well-maintained, making for a relaxing stay. It exceeded my expectations overall, and I'll definitely prioritize staying here again next time I'm in Melbourne.

Anonymous UserHad a comfortable stay for 3 nights. Hotel about 15-20mins walk from city centre and can pop onto tram in free tram zone. Toilet bowl had a smelly drainage smell which holds presence in the air everytime you flush, was pretty unpleasant.

Realistically, it's night and day the types of service you are afforded for a few extra $100's, in essentially all western / non-western countries.. Not in Australia.
Air con vibrated all night long = zero sleep, maintenance came the following day, his advice was to run the air con on the lowest possible fan speed.. Lol love that for summer, they never offered another room, or any kind of compensation for the poor hospitality.
Instead... what I needed to understand, only after I've left the lobby, collected my car from parking $65 per night BTW.. And look on an already entirely pre-paid stay... Oop only another $700 charge...
Wouldn't bother staying again, and I hope they've got a bloody good reason or rectify it asap because otherwise it's going to ACCC.. And I have nothing better to do than spend spend daddy's money his gone.

Guest UserThis hotel deserves a five-star review! I wish I had stayed at the Sheraton for my entire trip to Melbourne. It's in the city center, which is incredibly convenient, and even late at night, around 8-9 PM, there are still plenty of people around, making it feel very safe. When I checked in, there was a Chinese-speaking staff member available. Although the person who actually checked me in was of Indian descent, a Chinese colleague came over to make sure everything was alright before leaving. They even offered me a complimentary glass of champagne! The hotel room was spacious and clean, definitely the best I've stayed in during my past two weeks in Sydney and Melbourne. It certainly lived up to expectations!
Right outside the hotel, there's a Rolex store, and if you walk down the street, you'll find the Town Hall and a church. There are plenty of options for dining, entertainment, and shopping. It's also not far from Australia's famous WWL? Or was it WWs?

For my 21-day trip to Australia, I stayed at 11 hotels, mainly across Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide. Here’s my ranking of the hotels from best to worst in terms of overall experience (I've also noted their value for money, considering the price):
1. Capella Sydney (low value for money)
2. Park Hyatt Melbourne (high value for money)
3. InterContinental Melbourne The Rialto (average value for money)
4. Crown Towers Melbourne (high value for money)
5. Le Méridien Melbourne (average value for money)
6. Hilton Adelaide (average value for money)
7. The Langham Melbourne (low value for money)
8. Citadines on Bourke Melbourne (excellent value for money)
9. Meriton Suites Waterloo, Sydney (high value for money)
10. Best Western Plus Travel Inn Hotel Melbourne (low value for money)
11. The Hotel Windsor, Melbourne (very low value for money)
As for Le Méridien Melbourne, there's not much to say, honestly. It's a pretty standard international 5-star hotel. The location is good; Parliament House is very close, and Chinatown and Flinders Street Station are all within walking distance. The service and facilities meet expectations, though the outdoor pool was too cold to use in the mornings.

bananawuuThe location is super convenient, right in the heart of the CBD, easy to find, and most major attractions are within walking distance. The surroundings are very quiet, and there's a fantastic brunch spot and dinner restaurant right outside the door. The facilities are a bit old, and the room isn't particularly spacious. Soundproofing is average, but it does have a bathtub and is very clean. It's a hotel with great value for money, highly recommended. In terms of service, early check-in can be arranged, but the staff all seemed very rushed, and while not rude, their service attitude wasn't exactly satisfactory.

Guest UserThis Marriott is a bit far from the city, but it's a quick ride away. The first night, our room didn't have transparent windows, so it felt a bit dark. We then switched to a corner room, but the constant door slamming in the mornings was really disruptive to our sleep. Other than that, everything else was pretty good. They offer express check-out, which is a plus.

Anonymous UserThe hotel was well-located and the staff were friendly, so overall we had a pleasant stay.
However, there were a few disappointing points. We booked a family room for six people for three nights, but we were actually given adjacent connecting rooms.
Also, the connecting room's key was not unlocked, so we had to ask someone to open it for us after we entered.
Amenities were not provided for the number of guests, so we had to ask for more.
No extra water or other amenities were provided on the second or third night, and trash had not been disposed of.
