Very clean, nice renovated rooms with all amenities including microwave. Very comfortable bed and pillows, plenty of luggage space. Coffee/tea/sugar and biscuits. Each room has it's own designated parking. Reception woman was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend it and will definitely be staying again soon

Guest UserThe hygiene conditions were excellent, and all areas were very tidy. The balcony outside the kitchen on the fifth floor offers a nice view, making meals there very enjoyable. The sofa area on the fourth floor is great for studying—it's quiet and the temperature is just right. The lobby seating faces a panoramic window with street views, and the music is quite pleasant, though I wouldn't recommend sitting there late at night recently as it's been cold.
Also, a quick tip: remember to check the back of the promotional flyer. I arrived on a Saturday and Sunday, and I completely missed the note about free meals being offered on weekends. A real shame I missed out!
Additionally, the front desk lady's service was incredibly kind—thumbs up! After checking out, I realized I'd lost a phone. I figured it must have fallen between the bed and the wall. The hotel staff found it and returned it to me, which I truly appreciate!

great location and facilities, but be prepared for significant noise both early in the morning and late at night.
Be randomly arranged units in 889 or 883 Collins st.
the noise situation seriously affects the stay. There are several construction sites nearby, and work starts around 7 a.m. every day. The drilling and machinery noise is very loud, making it difficult to sleep in.
At night, the problem continues as car enthusiasts often race along the nearby roads, and the engine revving can be extremely disruptive.

The receptionist wasn’t very friendly. Easy check in. Plenty of parking space. Room was basic but clean. Insulation of the room was not good. It was cold as we can feel the cold air entering the room from the window and door edges. Heater wasn’t functioning.
Easy check out. Location ok.
Not worth for the price we paid.

Because this was the only hotel within walking distance from my friend's house, we stayed for a total of 4 nights and booked a 2+1+1 deal. Before checking in on the first day, the room fee and a deposit of 100 Australian dollars were charged to my credit card. On the fourth day, I went to the front desk to renew the room card (I couldn't open the door without renewing it). The front desk already knew that this was a prepaid order and asked if the payment would be deducted from the original credit card (I changed the name of the booker on the fourth night but didn't change the room and noted ”extend stay” in the order). I thought that after the prepaid order, the hotel might have to charge a deposit again because the name of the booker had changed, so I replied ”yes”. As a result, not long after, the front desk deducted 157 Australian dollars from the credit card again. I returned to the hotel in the evening and called the front desk. The front desk said it might be the deposit and asked me to talk to the manager tomorrow. I checked out very early the next day and the front desk was not at work. I negotiated with the hotel through text messages. The hotel said that I booked the room twice, once at the front desk and then again on Ctrip two hours later. They were so shameless. I booked the room on Ctrip one night in advance, but I didn't go to the front desk to renew the room card until after 9 o'clock the next day. After the communication failed, I had to contact Ctrip. If the negotiation with Ctrip failed, I would post a complaint on the hotel's official website. After repeated communication with Ctrip, the hotel agreed to refund the money, saying it was a ”communication misunderstanding”. I suggest that compatriots should check their credit card information more often when they go out, and safeguard their legal rights and interests in a timely and resolute manner, so that the chickens and dogs of T can't hide.

Lovely vibes, cool chill areas, community bar and community events plus the staff especially the lovely guy who booked me in was Amazing. However it's a very crappy old building with Nil working properly showers and broken toilets. I had 1 night in a nice female room which I barely even saw as I was out and Tried to rest at a 2nd booking being shoved into a mixed smelly weird noisy dorm on a top bunk with ****** knocking on the door at all hrs, one guy snoring and another twat on the phone I told off. Was stressful and I hadn't a Warm shower in a working functioning bathroom in 2 days. Not returning. If you like noisy rude tourists and old buildings with no lift carrying your bags everywhere and no showers, great!

KhandelwalanmolWe had an excellent stay at Arrow on Swanston! The apartment was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location is fantastic, with easy access to public transport, restaurants, and Melbourne’s main attractions, making it a perfect base for exploring the city. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and the check-in process was smooth. Overall, it offered great value for money, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again on our next visit to Melbourne.

Guest UserOne of the many things I like about Ibis Dandenong is the affordable price, close to shops and restaurants near by makes it easier to enjoy a nice meal
