🌴 A perfect place to slow down, recharge, and end our Bali trip on a beautiful note. Onyx was the perfect choice for the final day of our Bali trip. My friend and I have visited Bali several times, which also means that we no longer feel the need to stay in the busiest central areas. This time, what we really wanted was a quiet place where we could rest, slow down, and recharge before returning home. Onyx Spa Resort turned out to be exactly that. From the moment we arrived at reception, we were especially grateful for the warm welcome and thoughtful hospitality of every member of staff. We arrived earlier than the official check-in time as we wanted to enjoy the pool and spa facilities first, and the entire process, from storing our luggage to eventually checking into our room, was seamless. A special thank you to Peri, who kept us informed throughout and made sure everything was handled smoothly. The room itself was spotless, and we also appreciated being able to select and request the amenities we needed. We had no issues with noise, and the natural sunlight pouring into the room made the space feel fresh and uplifting. The bedding was also exceptionally well maintained, and we had a very comfortable night’s sleep. 🌱 Even during our short one-night stay, we managed to enjoy the pool and pool bar, smoothie bar, salad bar, Georgia Restaurant, Hutan Spa, and Onyx Spa. -The pool bar was a wonderful place to slow down and enjoy Bali’s beautiful weather, and both the food and service made it easy to spend a relaxed afternoon there. -The smoothies and salads were healthy yet genuinely delicious, and this was one of the moments when we really felt that Onyx is not simply a resort, but a place with a genuine wellness philosophy. If I return for a longer stay, I would happily start every morning with one of their smoothies. -Georgia Restaurant was another memorable part of our stay. Being able to enjoy shisha there created the perfect setting for a slow evening with my friend, talking through our memories from the trip. The flavour combination recommended by the shisha master was also excellent. -We are both big sauna lovers, so we especially enjoyed the sauna at Onyx Spa, together with the extremely, extremely cold plunge pool, which was surprisingly fun and incredibly refreshing. To finish the trip, I had a massage with Kadex at Hutan Spa, and it was easily the best massage I received during this visit to Bali. I left feeling completely refreshed, and it made the journey to the airport feel much lighter. Although we stayed for only one night, Onyx gave us exactly the sense of rest and recharge we had hoped for. We would absolutely love to return for a longer retreat-style stay in the future. Thanks to the bright smiles, warmth, and kindness of the entire team, we were able to return to everyday life feeling genuinely refreshed. For us, Onyx was one of the best possible ways to end a Bali trip. Thank you to everyone who made our stay so enjoyable. One very personal thought: there are several large figurative paintings throughout the hotel and guest rooms. They are certainly striking, but I found myself imagining how beautifully the space might work with more abstract, calm, and contemporary artworks. I think that kind of visual language could complement Onyx’s refined wellness atmosphere even more beautifully.

Although the hotel isn't in the busiest area, I was very happy with the environment and everything else! The parking lot is also quite spacious. We received welcome drinks and snacks at check-in. The water quality was good; my filtered shower head didn't change color! P.S. The hotel has a back entrance that's very close to Potato Head!

The staff were very friendly, helpful, and genuinely service-minded. They were also happy to recommend places and things to do around the area, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, there were several issues that significantly affected our stay. During the daytime, there was some burning happening around the nearby rice field, and the smell came directly into our room. It became uncomfortable enough that we had to leave the hotel for a few hours and only came back in the evening. The biggest problem, however, was the air conditioning. In the middle of the night, the room became extremely cold even though we had not intended to make it that cold. We were surprised to find the air conditioner running at 17°C with the fan at maximum speed. We had to wake up several times to adjust the temperature, and because of this we could not sleep properly until early morning. The Wi-Fi was also very poor. Once our phones connected to the hotel Wi-Fi, the internet was practically unusable, so we eventually had to disconnect and use our own roaming mobile data instead. Overall, the staff and service were good, but the air conditioning and internet problems seriously affected the comfort of our stay. If these two issues were fixed, the experience would be much better.

It was a last-minute booking, I reserved in the evening and arrived at the hotel that night, but all the staff warmly welcomed me and I was able to check in. Because it was so sudden, there was a short wait for the room to be prepared, but during that time, they offered us welcome drinks at the restaurant. While we were enjoying them, the room was ready and we were shown to our room. There was a small mishap where the card key didn't work and I couldn't get into the room, but a young staff member passing by immediately helped. They opened the room for us first and promptly brought a new card key later, saving us a trip back to the front desk, which was a great help. The breakfast selection was also extensive, and everyone was satisfied. All the staff had genuinely lovely smiles and were so kind, making it a hotel I'd definitely want to stay at again. Thanks to Trip.com, we were able to stay at this class of hotel at a significant discount, which was a blessing for a family with children!

An incredible villa in Bali 🌴🤍 Our Bali vacation was made especially delightful thanks to this villa. From the first moments, you feel an incredible atmosphere here – it's beautiful, cozy, and peaceful. This is exactly the kind of place you look forward to returning to after walks, beach days, and a busy day out. The villa itself is simply stunning: spacious, stylish, beautifully decorated, and meticulously designed down to the smallest detail. Everything looks aesthetic and is genuinely comfortable to live in. We particularly loved the sense of privacy and having our own little space where we could fully relax. The grounds are very well-maintained, with lots of greenery and beautiful tropical plants. The authentic Balinese atmosphere is all around – you wake up and immediately feel like you're in a truly special place 🌺🌴 I must also highlight the cleanliness. The villa was tidy, cleaning was done regularly, and everything we needed was provided. It's so pleasant when a place isn't just beautiful in photos, but looks even better in real life. The staff deserves a special thank you ❤️ Everyone was so kind, attentive, and responsive. They tried to help with every request, always greeted us with a smile, and did everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We also really enjoyed the food. Breakfasts were delicious, fresh, and beautifully prepared. It was especially pleasant to enjoy breakfast in such a beautiful setting in the morning, with no need to rush. We got exactly the kind of vacation we came to Bali for: lots of beauty, tranquility, privacy, and pleasant emotions. This villa became a true sanctuary and place of relaxation for us. 🥹🤍 A huge thank you to the owners and the entire team for such hospitality! We are leaving with very pleasant memories and will definitely recommend this villa to anyone looking for a beautiful, peaceful, and comfortable holiday in Bali. I had a great stay at d’primahotel Seminyak! The location is very strategic and convenient, with easy access to many restaurants, shops, cafes, and attractions around Seminyak. The room was comfortable and the overall experience was pleasant. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. It’s a great choice if you’re looking for a convenient place to stay while exploring Bali. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Bali. Highly recommended! ❤️❤️❤️

My overall experience on this hotel is excellent. Easy to find, good location. Lobby staffs are friendly and accommodating. Lobby, waiting area, elevator and hallways are all modern. The room door is superb. Clean and soft bed, strong wifi connection, hot and cold shower. The room is big yet very affordable. i highly recommend this hotel.

The bamboo house was quite unique, and the building itself was beautiful. However, the cleanliness was a bit concerning and didn't hold up to close inspection. Check-out is strictly at 12 PM, otherwise, you'll have four or five staff members waiting at your door to assist you with checking out 😂. Hot water is limited, so you have to use it sparingly.

Overall, my stay was just okay – it was what you'd expect for the price, nothing special but no big surprises either. On the plus side, the service was decent; staff members always greeted me, and check-out was quick. However, there were a few minor issues in the room. The air conditioning was a bit noisy, which might bother light sleepers. Also, the shower had low water pressure and the temperature fluctuated. Cleanliness was acceptable, typical for a standard business hotel. All in all, it's decent value for money if you don't have high expectations.

We love heritage buildings and vintage style, so these little bungalows were perfect for us. They were a little walk away from the reception (no buggy!) which meant so peaceful and quiet! Gorgeous wooden bedroom and bathroom. The shower is a little outdated and when I first turned it on there was a sulphuric smell which was a bit concerning. Basically, if you like rustic, no frills, no extra service etc then these are a lovely cute experience. However, if you want luxury and are squeamish about old style open homes, this isn't for you. Breakfast was very basic so we generally ate out. The main receptionist was a lovely gentlemen, a very quick registration and we were in! Rooms were clean and nice and dark for a cosy sleep at night.
