Sovereign Bali Hotel

Starting on the positives, I got my hair done in the hotel salon (Maria’s Salon) and she did such an amazing job. She was so nice, enjoyed her company and was very thorough with my hair. Honestly I don’t like my hair straight but they did it so well I loved it! The reception as well they were very very friendly. The location was very very convenient near the airport since we had an early flight the next day and the price? Absolutely worth it! Next, the downside… the bathroom had a window next to the shower which shows the bedroom. There was blinds and it was a bit moldy which is a bit yuck but if you just leave it up it doesn’t really matter. It just threw me and my partner off. Also the pool, there was algae in the pool making the pool a bit murky. Would not recommend to put your head down. Overall though, not too bad!

Stayed here because near airport and cheap. Shampoo and soap was dodgy. Toilet smelled a bit. Overall still comfortable just for a night. Good location and breakfast was good variety also.

Staff were great. Everybody is really polite and helpful. For one night, the price is really feasible. We stayed here due to its location to the airport, but you need to take a taxi to get there. The ride is around 5 min, and 35 min if you choose to walk. You can call the driver from Grab and the cheapest option is about 140000 Rupiahs. Our biggest recommendation is for hygiene. There is a need to renew (not wash) some of the items such as towels and bed sheets.

The hotel was good, and everything was very comfortable. The only issue was with the main door. I spent 20 minutes trying to get out of the room and couldn’t. I called reception, and they told me someone would come, but I waited another 10 minutes and no one came.

It was amazing. The only thing I didn’t like was the bathroom with the plumbing cause they had a smell came out of there aside from that was great.
