superb location..CLEAN!! Welcoming host, responsive at any time, with any question!! very neat, drinking water at any request, welcome fruit! no insects!! warm atmosphere! motorbike ready fast, cheap and good!! we stayed in 3 different locations and they were definitely the best!! Believe!!!!

Ohana is a great place to stay if you’re coming to Canggu- it’s just a stone’s throw away from all of the shops and restaurants, but in Pererenan you feel like a world away, surrounded by rice fields and calm. The building is super new, and built with a lot of attention to detail- the bed is like sleeping on feathers, and the shower’s one of the best I’ve seen in Bali. Everything is white with cute plant murals, and the pool area is stunning. The owners are incredibly friendly and have lots of helpful tips of where to eat and what to do. Looking forward to coming back!

When we arrived, no one at reception was available, and we had to wait until someone happened to come by. The staff were very uninterested in helping us, assigning us a parking space, or welcoming us. This same lack of interest continued throughout our stay, so much so that we didn't even get breakfast the next morning. The room is tidy, clean, and well-equipped. It has air conditioning, a TV, a mini-fridge, a hairdryer, bathrobes, a kettle, and an iron. Laundry service is offered. The bathroom is adequate—toiletries, toilet paper, and towels are provided. The pool looks clean, but the pool area is, as is typical for the area, heavily overgrown and unfortunately offers little ventilation, making it feel stuffy. However, overall, there's nothing seriously wrong with the medium-sized pool and the sunbathing area. The room, at the advertised price of approximately 400,000 IDR, is commensurate with the services provided. The nominal price of 1.5jt IDR on the booking websites would be grossly overpriced given the poor service provided by the staff and the inadequate breakfast.

we didn't actually sleep in the hotel. As we had a midnight flight, so we book the hotel just to repack luggage, to rest and to shower. The rooms are on the smaller side, so if you have a lot of luggage it's not really recommended. Shower was fine. The only negative thing was slow working of the AC, it stayed very hot in the room. We did not have any food from the hotel. 

Choosing this hotel on our first day was the best decision ever! Even two months after returning home, I still feel incredibly grateful. Thank you all so much, especially to the kind gentleman who showed us around and treated us to a meal. I really regret not getting his contact information, but I'm glad I at least got to thank him in person on the day we left. Both the service and the environment were absolutely fantastic. You've truly kept my dream of Bali alive, and I can't wait to see you all again! If you happen to read this review, please, please pass on my heartfelt thanks to that wonderful gentleman! I might have just been a fleeting encounter in his life, but I will forever cherish this warm memory.

Great location closely to Ubud palace, other places of interest and central streets with cafes and restaurants. Quiet place with windows on the hill (no noise from the street). Clean bathroom with hot water.

The room upstairs was pretty good, with a nice view and very close to the beach. It had windows overlooking the street and the pool. I stayed for 4 days straight, and it was okay. It's also suitable for families with children, as they have various bed types available.

Nice place close to the airport and maintenance rd. Booked deluxe room. Bed and pillows are super comfy. Rooms arent soundproof. They had a group staying on the same floor which were super loud. Staff are lovely.

I first want to commend the staff for their friendliness as well as being proactive when we needed something. Unfortunately that’s were me commending things ends… The pictures were very misleading. We originally drove passed as the reception looks nothing like the images. There is a new building next door that the units now look onto which is an eyesore the main dining area was no exist but instead was replaced by a smaller area . The room had the basic necessities but was in need of a proper clean. Overall I don’t think that it was worth the cost.

I spent 5 nights at Kose Villas Ubud, and this is one of those places where the setting truly shapes half of the experience. Location & vibe Kose Villas sits right in the middle of rice fields—quiet, lush, and instantly calming. It feels like Ubud suddenly switches to “slow living” mode. The views are unquestionable: absolutely beautiful. If you’re coming for serenity and scenery, this is exactly why you’d stay here. Important note about the access road One thing to keep in mind: getting to the villas involves walking/driving through the rice fields on a narrow path, with a small stream/irrigation canal running alongside. If you’re not a confident rider/driver (especially on a scooter), or if walking is difficult for you, this could be a challenge—particularly in the evening or if you’re carrying heavy luggage. The staff offer a motorbike transfer to and from the main road. I personally walked every time, and it took about 5–7 minutes at a relaxed pace. It’s a lovely walk—just important to know the setup in advance. The room: airy, high ceilings & a glass wall My standard villa felt genuinely nice: high ceilings, lots of space, and one full glass wall that makes the room feel even more open. I had a unit with a garden view and a small kitchen. I didn’t cook at all, but having a fridge was truly convenient (water, fruit, snacks—anything you want to keep for the next morning). There’s also a kettle, but oddly the only option provided was instant coffee sachets—no tea (a small detail, but in Ubud it feels like tea should be a given). Bathroom & shower The bathroom and shower are standard and fine. The only thing I noticed: the “hot” water felt slightly lukewarm, even at the maximum setting. It didn’t bother me—since the weather was hot, a cooler shower actually felt refreshing. But if you love a truly hot shower, it’s something to note (and perhaps for the hotel to check). What disappointed me A few things kept this from feeling like a fully polished villa stay: • No hair dryer—at all. I asked at reception, and it turns out the hotel simply doesn’t have hair dryers. For this type of stay, that’s a surprising and inconvenient omission. • Not enough lighting in the evening. During the day it’s bright and beautiful, but once the sun sets the room feels quite dim—there aren’t enough lamps for a comfortable evening (reading, working, getting ready). • “Shared” pool, but not really. I was a bit confused to learn the shared pool isn’t shared across the whole property, but only for two units (1 and 2). The place also seemed quite empty during my stay, yet I still wasn’t offered access to the pool. Not a huge deal, but it did feel like a service/communication gap. Overall Overall, I left with a positive impression, mostly thanks to the location: rice fields, quiet, gorgeous views, and a real sense of privacy. It’s a great place for a reset—slow mornings, nature all around, and that “Ubud green” backdrop. That said, if the hotel wants to consistently earn a higher rating, it should improve a few basics: provide hair dryers, add better lighting, communicate more clearly about the pool, and possibly check the water temperature.
