The room environment is good, but the breakfast is too bad. There is only bread and something like yogurt that I don't know how to eat. Then we saw the table next to us ordered fried eggs and salad, thinking it was free, so we said we wanted that too. My husband and I stayed for three nights and had the fried egg breakfast at three o'clock. When we left, we were told that it was charged. The total meal was 84 euros

Our stay at the Viminale View Hotel was an acceptable one - but we would unlikely return on a future visit to Rome.
Arriving at the hotel in the early afternoon, we were pleased to be allowed to check in ahead of the published time (14:00hrs). The service was friendly and efficient and we were quickly shown to our room - that being a ‘deluxe’ room at the end of a corridor. Room number 1 was to be our home for four nights.
The room was of a good size and well-equipped e.g. towels, tea and coffee making facilities, a small fridge (with optional mini-bar), a television and a bathroom - with an excellent free standing bath tub in the centre of the bedroom.
Perhaps my biggest gripe with the hotel was the disappointing view from the room. A ‘Viminale View’ it most certainly was not. Interestingly, room number 1 was the only room on the wrong side of the building. All others, including cheaper standard rooms, had the all-important Viminale view. In fact, not from anywhere in the hotel could we see the Viminale, since the reception area too was without any windows.
Our two windows looked out onto a gutter on one side and an adjacent building on the other.
We paid a little extra for breakfast, which was of a simple but acceptable standard. Given the size of the hotel with just 10 rooms, an extravagant buffet was not expected. More a continental selection, there was enough to keep us going until lunchtime. Cold meats, cheese, bread, pastries, yoghurts, toast etc, with scrambled egg and sausage available as hot options. Hot drinks were made on request.
As a smaller establishment, this accommodation appeared only ever to be staffed by one person at a time, which somewhat impacted service. Once seated for breakfast, we were provided with a hot drink and then left to it. There was no opportunity to request further drinks, which was a little disappointing. And on one occasion, we watched as a guest had to go in search of a member of staff in order to get a cup of coffee.
Perhaps in the mornings, especially with breakfast to provide and guests occasionally checking out, a second staff member would be beneficial.
House-keeping was of a good standard but returning on our last night, we were keen to enjoy a coffee, only to find that our supplies had not been replenished and our cups were still dirty on the side. As a hotel unstaffed after 17:00hrs, it wasn’t a simple case of calling for some coffee, rather just going without.
Whilst an enjoyable stay, the view from the room and the lack of hotel staff beyond 17:00hrs just didn’t work for us.

SofaviaggiaWe've stayed at this hotel twice. The premium room and standard room only differ in size and the presence of a desk. The renovation is brand new, with a fresh and understated design.
The elevator operates silently but is slow. The soundproofing between rooms could be better, but if you just need a place to sleep while traveling and want to quickly depart from Termini for other parts of Italy, it's ideal and budget-friendly.

Guest UserWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Antica Dimora Delle Cinque Lune. The location is outstanding, just a short walk from Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, Castel Sant'Angelo and Vatican City, making it the perfect base for exploring Rome on foot.
Our room was beautifully presented, with décor that blended nicely with the character of the historic building. The comfortable bed, elegant lighting, and unique wallpaper gave the room a boutique feel, while the small balcony overlooking the street was a lovely place to take in the atmosphere.
The room was spotlessly clean, quiet, and had everything we needed for our stay. Despite being in such a central location, we slept very well each night.
If you're looking for a stylish, comfortable hotel in the heart of Rome with all the major sights within walking distance,
I would happily recommend Antica Dimora Delle Cinque Lune and would definitely stay here again.

Rito bongThe smell in the room, especially the bathroom, was quite noticeable. It wasn't a sewer smell, but another unpleasant odor. The location is excellent, being close to the station and not far from tourist attractions, so I'd recommend it unless you're very sensitive to smells. The breakfast has a lot of sweet options, and the quality is low.

AobfoodieWe got here at 11h and check is was only at 3pm ; without even asking they decided to upgrade our room so we would have 2 rooms as we were tra Eli g with our kids AND the upgraded room was ready immediately ! There is a lobby to check in but the hotel room was actually a few streets away. The bellman walked with us to our room and showed us where everything was super nicely.
- the mini fridge was stocked with Coca Cola, juice water beer and wine (2 of everything !) we were there 3 days and used everything. Surprisingly the extra charge was only 15 euro !
- great location about 50meters (exactly 80 seconde walk) from the trevi fountain.
- the street is really buisy with all the restaurants and merchants and shops but being on the 3rd floor we heard nothing and felt very safe. Would recommend 100% and would go back here if we came to Roma again.

Guest UserThis hotel has a good location, not far from the central station, and it's convenient and safe for public transport. There are both Chinese and Western restaurants nearby. However, the facilities are a bit old, and the service is just average. I didn't compare prices beforehand, and later found out I paid a few hundred more than I should have.
