The room environment is good, but the breakfast is too bad. There is only bread and something like yogurt that I don't know how to eat. Then we saw the table next to us ordered fried eggs and salad, thinking it was free, so we said we wanted that too. My husband and I stayed for three nights and had the fried egg breakfast at three o'clock. When we left, we were told that it was charged. The total meal was 84 euros

Our stay at the Viminale View Hotel was an acceptable one - but we would unlikely return on a future visit to Rome.
Arriving at the hotel in the early afternoon, we were pleased to be allowed to check in ahead of the published time (14:00hrs). The service was friendly and efficient and we were quickly shown to our room - that being a ‘deluxe’ room at the end of a corridor. Room number 1 was to be our home for four nights.
The room was of a good size and well-equipped e.g. towels, tea and coffee making facilities, a small fridge (with optional mini-bar), a television and a bathroom - with an excellent free standing bath tub in the centre of the bedroom.
Perhaps my biggest gripe with the hotel was the disappointing view from the room. A ‘Viminale View’ it most certainly was not. Interestingly, room number 1 was the only room on the wrong side of the building. All others, including cheaper standard rooms, had the all-important Viminale view. In fact, not from anywhere in the hotel could we see the Viminale, since the reception area too was without any windows.
Our two windows looked out onto a gutter on one side and an adjacent building on the other.
We paid a little extra for breakfast, which was of a simple but acceptable standard. Given the size of the hotel with just 10 rooms, an extravagant buffet was not expected. More a continental selection, there was enough to keep us going until lunchtime. Cold meats, cheese, bread, pastries, yoghurts, toast etc, with scrambled egg and sausage available as hot options. Hot drinks were made on request.
As a smaller establishment, this accommodation appeared only ever to be staffed by one person at a time, which somewhat impacted service. Once seated for breakfast, we were provided with a hot drink and then left to it. There was no opportunity to request further drinks, which was a little disappointing. And on one occasion, we watched as a guest had to go in search of a member of staff in order to get a cup of coffee.
Perhaps in the mornings, especially with breakfast to provide and guests occasionally checking out, a second staff member would be beneficial.
House-keeping was of a good standard but returning on our last night, we were keen to enjoy a coffee, only to find that our supplies had not been replenished and our cups were still dirty on the side. As a hotel unstaffed after 17:00hrs, it wasn’t a simple case of calling for some coffee, rather just going without.
Whilst an enjoyable stay, the view from the room and the lack of hotel staff beyond 17:00hrs just didn’t work for us.

Sk11The Colosseum, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, and other major Roman attractions were all within about a 15-minute walk. Plus, the room had been renovated, making it much cleaner and more modern than the previous photos showed. With plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby, we had a very comfortable stay for four days.

Guest UserArrived at the hotel past midnight on the first day and was given a noisy room, 402 – remember that number! It felt like I'd walked into a magnetic field. There was a huge boiler right below the room, making noise all night long, so I couldn't sleep at all. The city tax was also super expensive: 6 euros for one person, 12 euros for two. Breakfast wasn't great either; all the dishes were cold, even the eggs. The only upside is its proximity to the central station, about a 15-minute walk.

KJ48Hotel Nizza is a solid choice for travelers looking for a convenient stay near Rome Termini station. The location is its biggest advantage—just a short walk from the station, making it very easy to reach by train or metro and ideal for sightseeing around Rome.
The rooms are simple and clean, with daily housekeeping and basic amenities. While the décor is a bit dated, everything was functional and comfortable enough for a short stay. The bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet considering the central location.
The staff were friendly and helpful, especially at reception, where they assisted with directions and local tips. Breakfast was basic but adequate, with coffee, pastries, and a few continental options to start the day.

AobfoodieWe got here at 11h and check is was only at 3pm ; without even asking they decided to upgrade our room so we would have 2 rooms as we were tra Eli g with our kids AND the upgraded room was ready immediately ! There is a lobby to check in but the hotel room was actually a few streets away. The bellman walked with us to our room and showed us where everything was super nicely.
- the mini fridge was stocked with Coca Cola, juice water beer and wine (2 of everything !) we were there 3 days and used everything. Surprisingly the extra charge was only 15 euro !
- great location about 50meters (exactly 80 seconde walk) from the trevi fountain.
- the street is really buisy with all the restaurants and merchants and shops but being on the 3rd floor we heard nothing and felt very safe. Would recommend 100% and would go back here if we came to Roma again.

Anonymous UserThe hotel isn't too far from the train station, which is pretty convenient. I arrived at the hotel at 9 AM, but couldn't check in until 2:30 PM. That policy is quite inconvenient. The room itself is very old, and the facilities are just average. The bathroom drain also had a really strong odor.
