The Sanchaya is a luxurious escape that we truly enjoyed from the moment we arrived on Bintan. The check in and check out was effortless as The Sanchaya has their own check in out counter and staffs who welcomed us upon arrival. We were brought into another world upon arriving at the estate where time didn’t exist. We felt truly pampered and the Artisans were always ready to be a step ahead in all that we plan to do. The estate was beautiful and had a very secluded beach. We will definitely return to what I call my second home again in the near future. Thank you as I truly felt very well cared for during my time at The Sanchaya. A special mention to Greg, the GM who had managed his team really well as it is evident in their warmth and hospitality that their guests truly felt.

As a new mum that craved for a beach getaway since 2024, Bintan felt like the perfect idea for our little family to kick Start our travels with a ferry ride to Bintan. Sadi beach is a little bit further from the ferry terminal and main attractions (e.g. lagoi bay) but Sadi beach makes up for it with the comfortable and cosy rooms as well as the excellent service the team provides. The food is excellent, anything on the menu is a hit. We loved the fritters, nasi goreng cabe ijo and the mocktails were especially exquisite with zero alcohol!! The staff makes you feel like you're right at home and it's so convenient to converse with them via whatsapp for any queries, concerns or needs. It was an excellent stay because i felt so sad having to leave! Definitely worth a visit if you need to unwind and just relax, we chose the garden villa. There's spa/massage, a playroom for children, a pool and complimentary canoeing/bicycle rides. You can even opt for snorkeling at the nearby islands. Absolutely wonderful stay as there's something for everyone, whatever your age! We stayed at The Residence Bintan for 2 nights and booked two different types of rooms for each night. Our second-night stay was at the One-Bedroom Beachfront Villa, which came with an excellent sea view and a private pool. We truly enjoyed our stay. The villa was spacious, clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The staff provided exceptional hospitality throughout our stay. As we had booked two different room types, there would normally have been a three-hour gap between checking out of our first room at 12pm and checking into the second room at 3pm. However, before we checked out of our first room, we received a call from the reception informing us that our second room was already ready. We were therefore able to check in directly without having to wait for another three hours. This thoughtful arrangement made our stay even more enjoyable. On our last day, our ferry was scheduled to depart at 7am, so we had to leave the resort as early as 5am. The Residence Bintan kindly arranged transportation to the ferry terminal and even prepared packed breakfasts for us. We were genuinely touched by their thoughtfulness and hospitality. ❤️ From the warm service and excellent facilities to the beautiful views, The Residence Bintan made our anniversary trip truly memorable. We would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back again! 🌴❤️

The free shuttle from the ferry to the resort was super smooth. We got a great fruit juice and a warm welcome from the front desk. Lots of free activities there too. I was really looking forward to the dance and aqua dance, but after waiting in the lobby, we found out there wouldn't be a class that day. It would've been nice if they'd put up a notice so we didn't wait for nothing. Then we did other stuff like rock painting, animal education, and tie-dye tote bags, which was awesome. I even chatted with Mizhelle as she passed our dried tie dye the next morning while she did my henna – such a happy person! The room was pretty clean and roomy. The AC worked great, and they even gave us a cute, big woven bag to use. I brought earplugs because reviews said you could hear people outside. But all we heard were buggies, crickets, and frogs, so it was all good. Our stay included daily breakfast, and the hospitality was amazing. They greeted us by name, which made us feel special. The staff even remembered our names when we just walked by them – effort 10/10! We did the BBQ, which was an 8/10. It was a cozy dinner setup. Unfortunately, there were tons of mosquitoes feasting on us while we BBQ'd and ate, even with repellent on. The staff forgot the oil spreader, so we couldn't cook for a bit. But the night was still a great experience for us both. Definitely a memorable vacation. I just wish the lagoon stayed open longer than 6 pm.

We have found this beautiful place on our 2 days dad/son bicycle tour through Western Bintan. We loved the ample, farm type camp that is in between the hills and savannahs with the reddish coloured earth and evergreen palm trees of Bintan. The reception area is already oozing openness and friendliness, and you check in a very pleasant and welcoming world. The owner has established this is as a sustainable youth training and learning center, at the same time offering splendid and well-integrated guest activities for families, kids, and groups. We stayed in one of the clamping houses adjacent to one of the small and relaxing lakes, and my 5y son loved every inch of it. The A/C motor works in the background, the bathroom is bigger than in any of the Lagoi resorts we have been so far. The food is very deliciously mildly spicy, the coffee machine is Italian, the breakfast offers a choice of two menues which makes it easy not to choose wrong. The best part is the always friendly and supporting staff. Yanu was very supportive when engineering a kite and helped us making it fly (even outside his shift). The creative center is definitely worth a visit. As natural bicyclists, we loved the empty and small paved roads around the Camp, so we even had a wonderful time biking down to the Blue Lagoon (1hour). From the Ferry Station TM it is a 2h bicycle trip with a few stops in the road (try to avoid the heat). The Bintan Ferry takes bikes for transport, so do 6-seater cabbies in Singapore. I can strongly recommend this place for any escape plans from the big city and for all nature fans.

This beach resorts belongs to the Nirwana Gardens, which has a lot hotels and resorts in the same area. Each resort and hotel cater to different travel needs. For this beach resort i stayed in, it is more for travellers who wanted some place quieter, and less crowded. There is a cafe here, where the breakfast is served and you can eat your lunch and dinner too. For choosing whether Garden View or Sea View, just think of the place like like, there are 2 rows of chalet. First row is beach facing, 2nd row is behind the 1st row. The cafe, defi cafe, served great food with large portion. Of course large is subjective. They do have half hour regular shuttle bus to the rest of the hotels and restaurants within their branch. For me, i prefer to walk to the Nirwana Resort hotel, where it’s cater more for families i think. The spice restaurant and kelong restaurant are buildings by themselves . You can also either take the shuttle bus or walk there. My garden view room, is very spacious. I really don’t have any comments, other than i like my room. All in all, if your objective is to have some quieter time and less noisy environment, i would said definitely choose this beach resorts. Last comment is that other than the inclusive breakfast, do be prepared to pay resort pricing for your other meals.

Second time with Grand Lagoi. Great location near lagoi bay beach. There’s shops in close proximity to the hotel. Hotel has decent breakfast buffet. The warung yeah cafe near the hotel has really fragrant Ayam Bakar. Staff are super friendly and hospitable. Offers free shuttle service to and from the ferry terminal. There is a massage place right beside the hotel for a quick relaxation after you reach Grand Lagoi.

Enjoyed my 3 day stay at this resort. Nice room with a balcony and sea view. Daily breakfast included , and has plenty of options, buffet style , from local food to eggs your way , fruit , bread and the best of all - prata. Restaurant on site offers delicious food. Vegetarian options available. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Beautiful sunrise you can watch from the beach. Hotel allows to rent a kayak. Overall , very calm place to relax for a quick holiday. Good value for money , recommend, and will be back again.

Stayed in the private pool ocean view villa, and it was one of the best villas I’ve ever visited! 😍 The villa itself was beautiful: * 🚽 Japanese/Korean heated toilet * 🚿 Large shower * 🛀 Large bathtub * 🪞 Couple’s sink with plenty of space * 🛏️ Big, comfortable bed The ocean is clear and unpolluted, and each villa comes with an inflatable paddle—high tide was so fun, and low tide lets you spot little fishes. It felt like a private beach —perfect for fun and amazing photos with no photo bombers.✨The pool was perfect too, cleaned daily, and the resort was very private and peaceful. 💡 If I were to share my advice 🤿 Go snorkeling! My biggest regret was not going 🥺. If the water in front of the villa is already this clear and full of fish, I can only imagine the snorkeling spots. 🐠 🍽️ The Ocean Restaurant was excellent—fresh local fish and seafood noodles for 385k IDR. I didn’t plan enough time for it 🤏🥲 but it’s seriously worth it. 💡 My advice: Stay in the ocean view villa—it’s absolutely worth it. Transport is easy to arrange, but this level of ocean view and privacy at this price is rare. ✨ The best vacations are the ones with regrets from not knowing more—so go for this. A true hidden gem—100% worth visiting! 🌊💙 ❤️ Huge thank you to the manager and team for their outstanding hospitality and excellent service. Everyone was friendly and attentive, which made the stay even more memorable.

Excellent location away from the usual water parks and tourists. The resort is only an hr from the ferry terminal, for an additional fee, they can arrange pickup/drop off. The room is way better than the photos advertised. Every amenity you can think of is available including insect repellent cream. This is the place to stay if you want to be close to nature. There are a few species of kingfishers, sandpipers and swifts, raptors, etc just to name a few. The main highlight of this place is when the tide is low, you can walk out and go fish hunting, spot different species of crabs, and mudskippers, etc. Since it is a mangrove beach, inevitably there are sandflies so it's important to cover up when heading to the beach. The staff are friendly and food is amazing. I will be back again hopefully in the near future.
