GGuest UserThe experience of staying at Sanchaya is so fabulous, impressed me deeply. The Ratree is very comfortable and lovely. The service and support from the whole team are very nice and promptly. I really love the smile of them, very sincerely and warmly. And aslo the foods in the dining room are very delicious, I really like the Indonesian foods, high quality. The hotel has beautiful lake and many lush trees, walking in the garden is so enjoyable. I am enjoying the moment at the library, peaceful and joyful. The time to circle around the lake is unforgettable to us, the best time to circle is the late of afternoon, the sunset above the lake is shocked me. Thank you guys, looking forward to staying here again.

GGuest UserAfter watching the rennovation from the golfcourse a few times, now we had the opportunity to stay at the new Movenpick resort Bintan in their soft-launch period. Although they still need to do some work, we absolutely enjoyed our stay in combination with the golfcourse. The staff is super friendly and helpfull. The food in the restaurant is very good, we tried the local food. Probably they will increase the number of dishes when fully opened. Breakfast very good: mix of buffet and a la cart. Local and international. Fresh juices. Little problems , part of opening a new hotel, were tackled immediately. Overall a great golf / relax experience. We will come back soon. Also need to try the Japanese restaurant.

GGuest UserExcellent stay at the Holiday Inn Resort Bintan. Free shuttle from the ferry terminal and check in was smooth and fuss free. Late checkout provided to match departure ferry timing. Resort still looks relatively new. The mangrove house for kids was a plus point in the hotel. Room was spacious and clean - would be great if there were in room slippers for toddlers too. Buffet Breakfast had a delectable spread and there was ample sitting. Fish feeding pond was a nice touch to keep the kids occupied. Free hourly shuttle to Plaza Lagoi was welcomed - would be even better if it runs more frequently. Short stroll to the private beach that is shared with Hotel Indigo. Swimming pools were spacious but could get crowded during peak periods. Room service were very generous in terms of portion size and worth the wait. Overall an excellent stay at the Holiday Inn Resort for a family weekend getaway.

GGuest UserManaged to book this resort for a reasonable price. The room is okay, with everything a traveler needs. Good that it comes with a balcony. The resort has activities for guests to participate in. There's a free shuttle; you should email in advance to inform them of your need. Most of the food and drinks here are pricey, as this area is generally for tourists, so be prepared to pay more.

GGuest UserI stayed at the hotel from 12 to 15 October and was very pleased with my experience. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with excellent bathroom amenities. The staff were all friendly, courteous, and helpful throughout my stay, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The only shortcoming was on the first night when I noticed that the bedsheet had some stains. However, the housekeeping team responded promptly and replaced it with a fresh set immediately. I truly appreciate their quick response and professionalism in handling the matter. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay and would be happy to return in the future.

GGuest User1. Well-equipped apartment. Safe, ironing equipment, umbrella, beach bag, crockery, cutleries, pot and pan and best of all – extremely comfortable bed and pillows and new air-conditioners! 2. Clean and modern interior. A few small flying insects that got into the room (inevitable due to the surrounding garden/forests and opening of doors) but thankfully, didn’t encounter any mosquitoes or ants in the apartment – what a relief! Fogging in the common areas is done twice a week – Tues and Thur late nights. Didn’t detect any unpleasant drainage smell in the toilet/shower so I’m perfectly happy with my assigned Queen Suite apartment! 3. Balcony views: (i) Block 1 is beach front apartments with full sea view (ii) Block 2 is made up of two sections: one section faces the Garden and the other section faces the Car-park (iii) Blocks 3 and 4 have either (i) Garden view - with partial sea view on highest floor) OR, (ii) Forest view – with partial sea view too on highest floor). (iv) Block 5 on the top floors have distant sea view (this block is on a slope and furthest from the reception and pool) 4. Friendly staff. My requests were attended to swiftly. 5. Private beach (shared among the 3 resorts there) is reasonably clean with fairly clear sea (there’re jelly fish warning signages). 6. Pool at Cassia is smaller but newer and cleaner than at Angsana. A new pool bar construction is currently being carried out in front of Cassia’s pool and the hoarding blocks the beautiful sea view from the infinity pool until mid Nov – what a pity! 7. Adequate breakfast spread but houseflies and birds were spotted in the restaurant – made me worry about the hygiene level 8. Various English movie channels but screen resolution was poor and images often lagged for a few seconds – makes the movie watching experience tiresome and annoying. Only the International news and Singapore channels did not suffer from lags/poor image quality 9. Some of the building and lift direction signs in the different apartment blocks are puzzling and confusing – the signs are probably very clear ONLY to the people who planned/designed them - certainly NOT easily understood by foreign guests! You need to get into the correct lifts in different buildings to reach the blocks furthest from the reception (to avoid climbing any stairs or slopes eg blocks 4 and 5). I only figured out the various sheltered linkways/correct lifts after a few trial and errors, lol! 10. Credit card is needed for room deposit during check in even if room cost was already paid in advance during online booking: 4 Million Indonesian Rupiah per apartment per night

GGuest UserEverything at the resort was incredibly systematic and well-organized, resulting in a completely frustration-free stay. We arrived at 12 PM and were pleasantly surprised to receive our room for an early check-in at 1 PM after a minimal wait! We opted for the 6-activity package—a great value according to my husband—which included a fantastic 2-hour karaoke session and access to the kids' indoor playground. We highly recommend the 6-activity package; it kept us thoroughly engaged throughout our 3-day, 2-night stay. The resort's punctuality was excellent: our in-room couple's massage therapists arrived exactly on time, and the fire for our 6:30 PM outdoor BBQ was already set up by 6 PM. The sound proof is not so good especially when the kids sleep at the teepee materials but when they are tired they still can fall asleep fast just that the next door kids wake up so early. Have to expect sound as it is glamping.

GGuest UserIt’s our first time and definitely not the last. Everything was great from the buggy in, to the size of the very clean room, to the baby cot that was already provided in the room and room service. Only thing I’d suggest for improvement is the massage place is too near the restaurant and live bar. There was loud music when we went for our spa retreat and the music dampened the quietness and chill mood we wanted for the spa and massage. I would suggest to move it further away or install sound proofing walls for the tent. Other than that, quite a perfect stay. We didn’t have enough time to explore the activities centre as it was for kids aged 3 and above. One last thing, everything is chargeable for rent which I feel certain things could have been provided for less cost or free. Like bicycles to get around the very large lagoon or kick scooters. Their 2/3 wheelers were fully rented out and not cheap to rent too.

GGuest UserSaw some negative review from Google or Trip.com, but I still decided to choose for this resort because of the locations. Also, that after spoke with the driver and I know that the view of the beach of this resort is actually the best one in bintan. It’s quite expensive to eat inside the resort, especially the Indian food at night. I went to the Chinese restaurant, but we didn’t order the seafood. The waiter is very helpful and very nice and polite. We order for the medium person, but he advised us not to choose that because the portion is really big.
