Sveta Sofia Hotel ★★★★
"The service was very good, but the infrastructure and hygiene were not very good."
Sofia Balkan Palace ★★★★★
"Good location, big rooms , very good breakfast, clean rooms , No parking , no facilities, no swimming pool,"
Maria Luisa by Introvert Hotels ★★★
"The hotel is at a great location, check in was very convenient. The room was big and the bed was very comfortable. The shower smelled bad. Aircon didn't work. The cleaning ladies where smoking inside the yoga room while we were working out. Reception wasn't occupied, the whatsapp number was super helpfull and always replied quickly"
EasyHotel Sofia ★
"Stayed in the budget small room. The room is very tiny. Ideal for someone travelling with little luggage and 1 or 2 nights. Clean room. Location is 25 mins walk from city center but there are trams nearby that takes you basically anywhere."
L'Opera Guest House ★★★
"A nice, quiet hotel right in the city center with unobtrusive service and friendly receptionists. I liked everything! I recommend it."
Grand Hotel Sofia ★★★★★
"Very friendly staff. Great location. There's a fitness room. Restaurant has an outdoor terrace."
Bla Bla Hostel ★
"I enjoyed staying in Bla-bla hostel. The hostel is located in a very convenient place: close to subway, cafes, parks, monuments and wide boulevards. It is kept clean and tidy. Receptionists are nice and cleate welcoming atmosphere. There were a few hiccups during my check-in, but they all were resolved in my favor by the receptionist. I think it is very important The only problem for me was that the kitchen is closed in the early mornings. And opens only at 8.00"
Rosslyn Central Park Hotel Sofia ★★★★
"The location is very good, close to Central Park and Central Pedestrian Street, next to the subway, and there is a Chinese fast food restaurant not far downstairs. I have stayed here several times. The only inconvenience this time is that the original first floor is under renovation, and the front desk has been moved to the second floor. You need to carry your luggage upstairs, and there is no elevator"
Ramada by Wyndham Sofia City Center ★★★★
"It's an older hotel with somewhat dated facilities. There's a casino on-site where you can exchange local currency using your passport. The breakfast selection was rather average. It's very close to the Lion Bridge, and about a 30-minute walk to the cathedral."

InterContinental Hotels SOFIA by IHG
"The location is great, close to both the airport and tourist attractions. However, the hallway was dimly lit, and it was unnerving to see African men, who I couldn't tell if they were staff or guests, occupying a room with the door wide open, chatting. I really wish there had been some explanation for what was going on."
Hyatt Regency Sofia
"Fantastic hotel with amazing spa and great amenities. Highly recommended by all means"
Hilton Sofia
"Nice new hotel. Very clean. The sauna and rest area is small but nice."
Crowne Plaza SOFIA by IHG
"Spacious, clean, airy room, and a superb breakfast."
Grand Hotel Millennium Sofia
"the best luxurious hotel in the city , perfect location , good restaurant choices"
Hotel Anel
"The enthusiasm of service staff needs to be improved"
Vitosha Park Hotel - Free Indoor Pool & Parking
"Nearby the park, can relax my mind after working for a whole day."
Europe Hotel
"The broken air conditioning in 30 degrees Celsius outside is truly awful. There was a large group of men present and very present at the pool. It turned out to be a party weekend. Sleep was not restful!!!! We complained at the reception and were simply laughed at. The hotel is truly faded. Probably once deserved a 4-star rating. Angie; June 10, 2024"
B1 Boutique Hotel Sofia
"Horrible. Please, avoid this place. Should be called: can’t be bothered. Upon arrival - elevator not working. Been handled a keys by receptionist and told that we have room on the 4th floor (my older mother, two years old and myslef). Only because I asked, they helped us with big suitcase (as we had hands full of stuff). And room itself was overheated:( not possible to open the window!!! And not possible to switch the heating off!! Also not possible to lower temperature by air conditioning!! Stuff downstairs couldn’t care less. First night my daughter was waking up every half and hour and I didn’t sleep, I was keep opening room door to the corridor to have some fresh air! I complained so they told me that we can move to another room next night (where windows can be open). And we had to move ourself - was told to bring our belongings downstairs and was sitting in the reception all day (while we were out) and nobody cared to move it. After all the hustle we entered new room and again all windows shut, heating on full!! Outside over 20 degrees. We slept with windows open and heating was running. Absolutely unpleasant stay. Hotels looks like run by bunch of teenagers and manager who obviously doesn’t give a monkey about guests. Only one good point can be clean room but it’s not enough to sleep. Please, do not stay there!"
Best Western Plus Olives City Hotel
"I always prefer parking lot view. Please try for this for next reservation."
Tsarsko Selo Spa Hotel
"We went for my birthday the spa was amazing massage good food and drink cheap very good location room had everything you need and very warm considering it was snowing! Lovely place to stay! They sorted us an extra room last minute and prices were more than fair for what you get! ENGLISH FRIENDLY!"
Hotel Vega Sofia
"It's a typical, old-fashioned European hotel. It's relatively clean and tidy inside, but it can't compare to the ones in China. Otherwise, there's nothing special. This is a relatively centrally located hotel, but that's the norm in Eastern European cities."
Astoria Grand Hotel
"It's good value for money, but I don't really like the decorating style; it's a bit oppressive and old-fashioned."
Hotel Lion Sofia
"Loved this place! Staff were super helpful, the room was spotless and cozy, and the location couldn’t be better. Everything was so convenient. Definitely worth it!"
Hayashi Residence - Free Gym and Parking
"We really enjoyed our stay and loved the location. Very close to everything yet very quiet and peaceful surroundings. Our room was modern, clean, very well equipped, and extremely spacious, which we really appreciated as a big family and one of the main reasons we initially booked this hotel. Our room was overlooking the beautiful mountains and the hotel's Japanese garden, which was a nice bonus The hotel has the nicest gym I have ever seen in any hotel in the world, with an amazing view of the waterfall and Japanese garden. It felt like a gym for celebrities The hotel staff were also very kind and recommended many local hidden gems off the beaten path. Overall highly recommended"
Favorit Hotel
"After coming out of the central bus station, you have to walk through a grassy area to find it. The location is good, but the cityscape of Sofia is really shabby! The room is clean and tidy, and the decoration is also very good. The room is not big and it is even equipped with a small bathtub ^_^ The front desk service was also good, but neither receptionist was there when I picked up the luggage to store. Fortunately, I left my contact number and rushed back within a few minutes."
