Sveta Sofia Hotel

Hotel was in an OK location with many of the tourist attractions within walking distance. Room was adequate and clean. Our shower door was broken so water went everywhere unless you held on to the shower head. Breakfast was very limited with no fruit or salad available.

The location is really great, room and toilet is big. One thing is that the corridors and the lobby of the hotel were a bit dark.

Very friendly service,excellent location, walking distance to station 5min,direct train to airport for 0.80cents. Plenty restaurants and bars around. Room was basic but cleaned,coffee tea facility. Room got very hot but you can open the window, only downside was not hot food available for breakfast as bemmari was broken. Good selection of ham and cheese which was enough for us to start the day. Honest version: as a hotel it's a solid 3/5 — basic room, nothing fancy. But it costs about half of anything comparable nearby and the location is probably the best in Sofia, right in the center. For one night that combination is worth an extra star. One thing that annoyed me: you have to leave your key at reception every time you go out. Fine if you're leaving for a full day of walking, less fine when you just want to pop out for a bottle of water. Manage expectations on the room and you'll be happy.

A comfortable hotel in a great location. It has everything guests need. However, the air conditioner needs cleaning.

I stayed here four nights and thoroughly enjoyed my stay! The hotel is an older, classy, clean, establishment with spacious rooms, a wonderful breakfast buffet with numerous choices, as well as coffee’s, cappuccino, espresso. The staff were all very friendly and professional. The shower had the best water pressure of any hotel I’ve been in. It is perfectly situated with local shopping, restaurants, and the numerous top sites of Sofia within walking distance. It is absolutely a great value for the service they provide. My thanks to the staff for a wonderful four-day day here and beautiful Sofia, Bulgaria.
