Ibis Sofia Airport Hotel

Use it as a hotel if you are a solo traveler. I aarived late at night and there’s a shuttle bus on call, that’s greatest advantage. In the morning the shuttle bus is less frequent but that’s still fine, you can easily find the transportation around to the main city.

The hotel is very old and not well maintained. It definitely needs renovation and better upkeep. However, the staff were very nice, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay, which was the best part of the experience.

I spend a lot of time in hotels. Usually their ratings and reviews on trip.com and *********** match my experience. Not this hotel so I felt compelled to leave a review: 1) NO room cleaning on a 2-night stay! On my second day I had to pick up my own dirty towels from the bathroom floor - 2) Restaurant is not just bad, it's TERRIBLE; On the first night I had dinner. Suffice to say that the quality was so bad that I skipped the breakfasts the next two days that were included in my room rate - 3) Very poor sleep quality. Mattress is very thin, pillows hard like bricks, synthetic duvet. The whole sleep experience whispers: CHEAP. On Alibaba you can get the whole setup including bed for less than $100 - 4) Normally I never book rooms less than 20 m2, so on day 1 I had to check my booking, why the hell I had booked this cramped space? Well, the ad mentions a surface of 16-23m2 so I guess I must have read the 23 and not the 16 - 5) Poor maintenance. Shower door didn't close properly because of a faulty hinge. Clearly, this hotel tries to squeeze every penny out of you by cutting every conceivable corner. TIP: a MUCH better hotel close to the airport for the same price: Hotel Premier Airport Sofia.

Great location for the airport, however the hot breakfast was cold and the room was very dusty. The shuttle bus drivers to the two airport terminals were however outstanding, as was the lady on reception.

The room was poorly lit with no amenities poor beddings And a smelly room.do not recommend. Bf was normal.location is so so, neither near nor far to the airport. the free shuttle bus was good for families though.

Perfect service to change over flights - airport pick up and drop off is very fast. Thank you.

Ibis - no surprises. 7 min walk from Terminal 1. Parking near the hotel. A very good solution.

Very convieninet - I appreciated the complimentary early morning shuttle + breakfast to go.
