"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five-star review We chose this Mercure hotel for our trip to Harbin, and our overall experience was excellent. The hotel's location is quite convenient; it's easy to catch a taxi right outside to various attractions. The room was very clean, with no strange odors, and the bed was super comfortable. It was also quiet at night, which was great for us traveling with a child. The front desk staff were very friendly, and both check-in and check-out were quick. They were also prompt in responding to any questions or issues we had. The water pressure and temperature in the bathroom were good, and all the facilities were in perfect working order. The common areas were also tastefully decorated, making it very relaxing to return to the hotel after a long day of traveling. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay for our family trip, and the value for money was good. We would definitely prioritize staying here again on our next visit to Harbin. Highly recommended!"

"All the staff were amazing! It was raining when we arrived, and parking was difficult, but the security guard at the entrance was already waiting for us at the parking lot entrance. He helped guide us to a spot, carried our child, and handled our luggage – truly fantastic. After check-in, the concierge offered warm towels for our hands, poured water, and helped transport our bags to the room. Within a minute, housekeeping delivered slippers and toiletries for our child. The restaurant was excellent, with a great ambiance and complete facilities. It was open from 7 AM to 12 PM, and they even brought yogurt for our child. The food selection was quite comprehensive. Although the hotel facilities are a bit dated, the location is superb. We could see the Songhua River from our room, and it's very close to Central Avenue and St. Sophia Church. Turning right after exiting the hotel, there are various restaurants. At check-out, the concierge even gave us small gifts, including a fridge magnet because we had a child. Both adults and children thoroughly enjoyed their stay."

"The hotel's location right on Central Street is super convenient for getting around. St. Sophia Church and Daoli Food Market are just a few steps away downstairs. It's about a 20-minute walk to Hongzhuan Street Morning Market, and you can also easily walk to Stalin Park, which is by the Songhua River, and the Middle East Railway Songhua River Bridge. The hotel breakfast, however, was quite mediocre and needs improvement. Around 9 AM, they didn't seem to replenish the food much, and there weren't many options, which didn't match the price point."

"The location is excellent, just a ten-minute walk from Saint Sophia Cathedral, yet it's surprisingly quiet despite being so central. The hotel has a charming, vintage-chic vibe that really suits Harbin's unique character. While the facilities aren't brand new, they definitely don't feel cheap. My only minor gripe is that the lighting in the room was a bit dim for my taste. It's a huge plus that they have their own parking lot, which is quite rare. The breakfast was decent, nothing spectacular but perfectly adequate. Overall, I'd recommend it!"

"We stayed at the hotel in early August. Upon arrival, the concierge and front desk staff were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel's location is excellent, right in the city center and very close to Central Street, just a short walk downstairs. It's incredibly convenient for getting anywhere. The restaurant environment was also lovely, and the staff there were warm and attentive. This is a great place for business trips, tourism, or family stays. We would definitely visit again if we have the chance."

"The hotel's front desk service was incredibly welcoming, and they even gave us a small gift. We were very satisfied with our room and were also granted a late check-out. The service overall was excellent. They provided a complimentary afternoon tea, and on the second floor, there's a Russian restaurant and a 'tieguodun' (iron pot stew) place, plus they offered discount coupons. There are many great restaurants and attractions around the hotel, and Central Street is beautiful. It was a really great experience!"

"Extremely satisfied! The location is unbeatable, right at the north end of Central Street, next to the Flood Control Memorial Tower. You can even see the Songhua River from the hotel. I was traveling with my parents, and getting to major attractions like St. Sophia Cathedral, Chinese Baroque Street, Heilongjiang Provincial Museum, and Harbin Pharmaceutical Group No. 6 Printing Museum was a breeze with ride-hailing services. It was just a 10-15 minute ride, both convenient and affordable. The room was clean and tidy, and the breakfast was excellent. Plus, we could easily walk to Hongzhuan Morning Market to sample some local delicacies."

"The hotel is right on Central Street, which is super convenient for shopping. They even offer late-night snacks, though I was usually too full after all the shopping to eat them. 😂 Even though my room didn't have a window, there was an air purifier, so there were no unpleasant odors. There's a laundry room with a dryer on the first floor too. The breakfast on the fifth floor was delicious, especially the crispy fried dough sticks. It's a shame I had to leave early on my last day and missed out. 😂"

"I booked this hotel on a whim the day before my trip, without much thought, but it exceeded my expectations! It offers great value for money. The location is just right – not too close to Central Street to be noisy, but very convenient for sightseeing. St. Sophia Cathedral is about a 5-minute walk away, and Central Street is about 15 minutes on foot, or just 5 minutes if you grab a shared bike downstairs. Plus, the hotel has its own parking lot, which is a huge bonus for me as I was driving, so I didn't have to worry about finding a parking space."
