"My stay here had its ups and downs. Let me start with the positives: the hotel has many thoughtful touches, the views are excellent, and afternoon tea is provided. The noodles at breakfast, especially the 'xiaomian' and 'zajiangmian', were delicious. Plus, it's right next to the Wangjiang Road Grand Steps, which is a big plus.
However, honestly, it falls far short of what you'd expect from a 4-diamond upscale hotel and a 4.9 rating. It simply doesn't meet the standards for that kind of classification.
There are several significant flaws that really impacted my experience:
1. There's no proper main entrance. You have to go through an underground parking lot to get in, and the elevator isn't exclusive to the hotel. It's a rather unpleasant environment, and the waiting times are long, which made for a poor first impression.
2. There's no power outlet on one side of the bed. This is a poorly designed feature and very inconvenient for daily use – a real shortcoming.
3. The lighting controls are confusing and awkward to operate.
4. The shower water temperature was inconsistent, constantly fluctuating between hot and cold.
Overall, the hotel's hardware is mediocre, though the service (software) is a bit better. But it absolutely does not deserve a 4-diamond rating or a 4.9 score. This rating clearly doesn't align with the actual experience. I feel misled by the rating and classification when I booked. I hope the platform can verify the true situation to prevent more people from being misinformed."
