"This hotel is an absolute gem! It's just a few minutes' drive from the airport. We only stayed for one night as a layover, but we were really impressed. The beach is right across the road; while the sand quality isn't as good as Karon or Kata, it's perfectly fine for kids to play and dig. The hotel has a tranquil atmosphere with many towering banyan trees, giving it a real vacation vibe as you walk around. There's also a children's pool that's big enough for kids to enjoy. Right next to the hotel, you'll find a 7-Eleven, massage shops, a supermarket, and a pharmacy, and there are plenty of convenient dining options. If you're coming for a proper vacation, I wouldn't recommend the room type I stayed in, as it's by a small road and can be a bit noisy with passing motorbikes. Instead, booking a room in the middle of the hotel would be excellent and really enhance the holiday feel. The downsides are still the poor water quality, so a filtered shower head is needed, the pool is a bit small, and there are quite a few mosquitoes, so definitely bring plenty of insect repellent. Recommended!"

"Overall, the room was decent, feeling like it had been renovated, but the bathroom seemed quite old, and the cleanliness really needs improvement. As for the hotel staff, their attitude wasn't very friendly. They basically didn't greet guests proactively, and a smile seemed like a luxury for them. This was the worst experience I've had with staff among all the hotels I've stayed at in Thailand, as most Thai hotel staff are very friendly and welcoming. Also, when I booked on Trip.com, I requested a high floor and no corner room. However, upon arrival, I was assigned a room on the ground floor at the very end. When I approached the front desk, they told me that even with special requests, they couldn't guarantee all of them would be met. But at least one request could have been fulfilled, right? Otherwise, what's the point of the request feature? After my strong insistence, they moved me to a high-floor room near the edge. Despite these issues, the hotel's location is indeed good, the views are great, and there are plenty of food and drink options right outside, with a 7-Eleven just by the hotel entrance."

"Coconut Village Resort is quite good in terms of both location and cleanliness. It's close to the beach. There's also a 7-Eleven store outside the hotel. Bangla Market is 1 km away. I'm a little disappointed with the management because I booked two rooms about a month and a half ago. I had two children with me, but they gave us separate rooms. According to the booking, they should have reserved the adjacent room for me.Rooms 110 and 113 are both in the same direction and a short walk down the stairs. I requested a room as well, but they said there were no rooms available. So it's the management's fault."

"Facilities: Absolutely great, though unfortunately, the main pool was under renovation during my off-peak visit. Cleanliness: Impeccable. I personally saw housekeeping meticulously cleaning. Environment: Quite good! I stayed here eight years ago and was worried it might have aged, but it seems they renovated in 2024, making it more modern. The room was also spacious and super comfortable. Service: Just one word: excellent! From now on, this will be my go-to hotel whenever I visit Phuket. The off-peak prices are a great deal, the rooms are comfortable, and it helps avoid any disappointments, haha!"

"Facilities: This was our first time bringing our child to Phuket. We initially booked The Emerald in Karon, but then I read reviews saying that while it was new, the pool felt a bit cramped between the two buildings. So, I checked out more reviews and decisively switched to the established Old Phuket Karon Beach Resort, which has a more resort-like vibe! It boasts a super large pool water park, and there's even a dedicated children's area with a small water slide 🛝 for toddlers, which is fantastic! Cleanliness: As an older five-star hotel, the decor is a bit dated, so the rooms feel a little old, but overall cleanliness is quite good. There were no issues with small animals or anything like that, unlike some online reviews suggested. Environment: As always, I've attached pictures; beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Service: The front desk service was excellent. We booked island hopping tours daily, and they picked us up at the front desk each day. On the first day, I was unfamiliar with the area and worried about finding the driver, so a staff member proactively helped us check our itinerary and contacted the driver via phone to clarify things in Thai! Thumbs up! One more thing I absolutely must mention: The Old Phuket Karon Beach Resort's location is arguably the most convenient in the Karon area. Right outside, there's a small commercial street with massage parlors, fruit stalls, Thai food, and seafood – everything you could want! Plus, turn right out of the hotel and walk just 30 meters, and you're at the stunning Karon Beach in minutes. There's also a 🚌 bus stop right outside that goes to Phuket Town, which is much more convenient than Centara Karon Resort Phuket!"

"The hotel is lovely, with clean, spacious, and tidy rooms, and the bathrooms even have bidets. The breakfast is good and reasonably varied. The hotel strictly adheres to its check-in time and does not allow early check-in unless it's per hotel policy and rooms are available. One thing to note is that the music by the pool area is quite loud and might be disruptive for some. Also, the hotel requires a security deposit at check-in, which is fully refunded if paid in cash upon check-out."

"A fabulous hotel, incredibly beautiful and atmospheric. If you want to spend your vacation like a fairy tale in a palace surrounded by greenery, this is your choice. My wife and I are absolutely delighted with this hotel. Besides the gorgeous exterior of the grounds, there's also a really great pool and excellent breakfasts. We had a room with pool access, and that was a special kind of pleasure, being able to fully relax without leaving the room 😅 In the evening, the lights come on, and the hotel becomes even more beautiful, incredibly stunning, words can't describe it. The staff are also top-notch; everyone is kind and friendly and helps with any question. In short, for me, this is the coolest and most atmospheric hotel in Phuket, if not the whole world 😅 My rating is 10 out of 10; even other 5-star hotels aren't as impressive as this one. I will definitely come back here again and recommend it to others."

"Another wonderful stay at this beautiful resort with direct beach access. The service has been exceptional from start to finish. The staff have been incredibly helpful with both major and minor requests, and we truly appreciated the complimentary room upgrade during the low season. This was my fifth stay here, and I’ll definitely be coming back again. The welcoming atmosphere and consistently outstanding hospitality keep bringing me back. As the resort has been around for a few years now, it may be time to consider some room refreshes, particularly updating the mattresses and bedding. New, crisp, high-quality linens can make a noticeable difference to the overall guest experience. The neighboring Ibis Styles, being a newer property, naturally has exceptionally fresh, crisp bedding, and it would be wonderful to see this resort offer the same level of sleeping comfort while maintaining its own charm. My only other suggestion would be to install a few more fans in the lobby and waiting area, as it can become quite humid while waiting for a taxi or food delivery. I honestly don’t know how the staff manage to work through the midday heat—they do an amazing job despite the conditions. Overall, this remains one of my favorite places to stay, and I look forward to returning for my sixth visit."

"I booked the sea view romance suite with jacuzzi 2409, top floor corner unit. We loved our unit so much! The view… the design, the jacuzzi. Everything is amazing. Delicious breakfast, stunning rooftop bar and gourmet restaurant…! We didn’t have the time to try the spa but it was amazing for sure. The pool isn’t huge but all in marble and has an incredible sea view. Last but not least, the staff is very polite and welcoming. We will come back 😊!"
