Hotels with Parking in Lanzhou

The location is excellent, right across from the Yellow River Park. A ten-minute walk along the park leads to the Dunhuang Art Museum. The hotel staff were also very helpful. However, the hotel needs to improve its communication with guests regarding important operational details. For example: 1. In some room types, the wall power outlets for the hairdryer aren't powerful enough. Guests need to use an additional outlet installed inside the drawer. This isn't communicated in advance, so how are guests supposed to know? My hair stayed wet for ages, and I couldn't tell if the hairdryer was broken or if there was another issue. 2. While relaxing in the room, all power suddenly shut off, the curtains closed, and the room became completely dark, which really scared my child. The power also went out again in the middle of the night. This happened in both rooms we booked. After inquiring, we were told that if the power card isn't inserted, the smart infrared sensor automatically cuts power if it detects no movement in the room. The premise of this design is that the infrared sensor must function correctly; otherwise, a sudden power outage significantly disrupts normal use. At the very least, guests should be informed of this mechanism beforehand. 3. The air conditioning in the room wasn't cooling, and I didn't know why. After a technician came to the room, we learned that some room types have a hidden dual-channel control switch. The AC's in-room control needs to be set below 23 degrees Celsius to activate the cooling mode; otherwise, it only operates as ventilation. This also needs to be communicated to guests in advance! I hope these issues can be improved.

I was very satisfied with the room and the service was excellent; the front desk responded very quickly. Especially Owen, the manager, who recommended their Chinese restaurant when I asked him for recommendations. We ordered several signature dishes and shrimp roe noodles, and it was a pleasant surprise – the food was delicious and the price was reasonable. Thank you, Manager Owen, for the recommendation!

Checked into your hotel yesterday, and I must say the service was excellent. The location is super convenient, right next to a RT-Mart, and there's even a Luckin Coffee in the lobby on the first floor, which is a nice touch. The room was comfortable and clean, and I loved the large floor-to-ceiling windows. Overall, a very pleasant stay! [smiley face emoji] And a big shoutout to the customer service for their outstanding and thoughtful service.

Huge thanks to Manager Zhang for calling us, to driver Qiao for picking us up at Gate 11 of the airport terminal, and to Manager Wang at the front desk. This is a truly unique hotel. Even before we arrived, they were already reaching out. While we were still on the high-speed train, a call came through, asking about our flight arrival time. I mentioned we were coming by high-speed train to Zhongchuan Airport East Station and wondered if they could pick us up. Manager Zhang replied, 'Yes, a driver will contact you.' Manager Zhang asked for our train number and arrival time. Sure enough, less than ten minutes later, a text message arrived from the telecom company, directing me to Gate 11 of the terminal's arrival exit after getting off the train. Mr. Qiao, the driver, clearly specified the car's color and license plate number. As I was typing a reply, Mr. Qiao's call came in, again confirming his parking location. Since we mentioned we were an elderly couple, Mr. Qiao politely asked about the color of our clothes. My husband and I exited Lanzhou Zhongchuan Airport East Station, took the escalator, and quickly found Gate 11. Just as I was about to call, Mr. Qiao walked up to us, greeted us politely, confirmed our identities, helped us with our luggage into the car, and assured us that someone would take care of our bags upon arrival at the hotel. Once the car stopped, Manager Zhang warmly and proactively took care of us, carrying our luggage into the lobby and then all the way to our room. As soon as we entered the room, the housekeeping staff delivered fresh fruit. The next morning, our airport transfer was scheduled for 7:30 AM. Our principle is to avoid inconveniencing others, so we always arrive earlier than the scheduled time. By 7:15 AM, we were downstairs, completing the check-out process at the front desk. Manager Wang (I believe she's a manager, though we didn't see her title on her nametag, only her surname Wang) told us to eat breakfast before getting in the car, and she would let us know when it arrived. I replied that we hadn't booked breakfast, as our flight was business class, and we'd eat at the airport. She insisted, 'It's fine, have a little something.' She then arranged for us to sit down, asked if we wanted milk or millet porridge, and personally brought us two cups of milk and two bowls of porridge. When the car arrived, she again escorted us to the car, helped with our luggage, and ensured it was safely stowed. I mentioned there was a type of fruit we hadn't seen before. She packed a few for us in a food bag and told us its name and how to eat it. We've encountered hotels that call ahead to inquire about arrival times, but never one with such meticulousness and such seamless coordination with the driver. We've had drivers pick us up from stations and airports, but never one as thorough and enthusiastic as Mr. Qiao. We've met lobby managers, but never one like Manager Wang, who treats guests like family. This is a truly special hotel. This is also a hotel with culture. It features a cultural promenade, not just a few thick books for decoration or blatant tourism advertisements. Here, you'll find sculptures and paintings. On the third-floor elevator landing, there are shadow puppet-themed artworks. These art pieces showcase the history, culture, folk customs, and art of Gansu. I shared photos of these artworks with my students, and we discussed Gansu's history, culture, and geological features on WeChat. They all agreed that very few hotels nationwide focus on cultural taste. This hotel truly is a culturally rich hotel. **Facilities:** Very new, all equipment works perfectly. **Cleanliness:** Excellent. **Environment:** Very close to the airport and Zhongchuan Airport East High-Speed Rail Station. The shuttle takes only two or three minutes. From our room, we could see the airport main building and control tower, and observed aircraft taking off and landing, yet there was absolutely no noise. Due to light rain, we didn't explore the surroundings. **Service:** Outstanding. My husband and I are grateful to all the hotel staff.

Overall, a great experience. The environment is clean and elegant, and the public areas are tidy and bright. The room layout is well-designed, the bedding is comfortable, and the soundproofing is good. The service is warm, attentive, and responsive. The dining offers a rich variety of dishes, and the flavors are home-style and delicious. It offers great value for money, making my trip very pleasant and comfortable. I will definitely choose this place again next time.

Nice hotel next to Tuanjie Xincun Metro Station Line 2, but not up to 5star level. We stayed for 3 nights, as I had prepaid. No English spoken either at the front desk or breakfast cafe. Room was on the 26th floor with a magnificent view looking South. Quiet room, smallish and with little hanging space and no safety box. Breakfast was Chinese and underwhelming. Nice indoor heated pool, but quite crowded with outsiders allowed to swim there. Fantastic gym with everything you could need and all to yourself. Probably stay here again for one night if the price was right. As a day trip, we went to Bingling Si. Take Metro to QiLiHe station on line 1. Walk east past KFC, take the 2nd pedestrian overpass, turn right then left after the touts near the public toilets. This is the Lanzhou West Bus Station. We caught the 9am bus for 23 yuan cash only and only available on the day. At the other end, organised a car for 4 people for 320 yuan. Last bus back at 5:30. It will leave earlier if full. Near QiLiHe station, great coffee place at 76 Jian Gong Xi Jie. Back from the bus station, past KFC, past Metro, left into Jian Gong Xi Jie. Try the 'dirty coffee '

The room is very spacious, with a minimalist and modern design, yet it has all the necessary amenities. Hilton's service, as always, is exceptional. The internal elevator provides excellent security. As one of the few high-rises in Lanzhou's Chengguan district, the hotel rooms offer great views. The subway station is just 200 meters away, making it very convenient for both taxis and the metro.

I stayed in this hostel for a total of 5 nights, with two breaks when I went on tours outside of Lanzhou. I have put in reviews earlier, so this is my final for the hostel that had begun to feel like Home. The hostel itself is very comfortable a stay: clean, comfortable wide bed with sliding door for privacy, nice seating areas... It is run by a family who take turns staying over so that there is 24 hour reception. All are friendly and kind, especially the father. The parents don't speak English but you can easily use a translation app; other guests will probably interact with you. The location: it is situated about a 5 minute walk to the Yellow River Tower, and a further 10 minute walk to the Lanzhou Old Street area where there is an amazing array of food options. Just outside the hostel is a Halal (Muslim-run) restaurant called (Ruhua 如华）which the hostel owners say have been in operation for 20 or 30 years. The hand-pulled (手抓) mutton that I had there was fantastic, even though I am typically not a mutton eater --- the taste is a delicate and balanced mix of light spices (I could taste a hint of ginger, for example) and saltiness. And the 八宝茶 is also excellent. A 7 minute walk to the right after exiting the hostel (past the above -mentioned restaurant) to the main road where many buses ply, you will find another good mix of local food options, especially in the morning. The hostel is conveniently located near the Lanzhou West railway station. There is a bus 136 that runs just outside the hostel and gets you to the railway station in 20 minutes. Hope this helps someone deciding on where to stay in Lanzhou, since there doesn't seem such a good range of hostels. The hotel is located very close to the Lanzhouxi railway station , it serves the purpose of coming and leaving from Lanzhouxi. The hotel was kind to provide shuttle service to and from the railway station. It's close to the Gansu museum. We had a short visit to Lanzhou and this hotel suits me. Hotel staff were kind to assist you. The hotel is clean. A new fresh up renovation will be an asset. I needed extra water, someone delivered it personally, greatly appreciated.

It's a great place to stay if you know the location, but it can be a bit challenging for foreigners. Even I, who speak a little Chinese, wandered around for about an hour, especially since I couldn't understand a single word of the local language. Still, I managed to find it, despite the twists and turns. I was grateful for the early check-in. However, my first impression wasn't so positive. I encountered a guest smoking a cigarette in the living room, which was quite casual. Next, the room was so dark that even with the lights on, it felt like nighttime. Nevertheless, the bed was comfortable, and all the amenities were there. There was even a small folding desk. I was impressed by the owner's sense of style. However, the bathroom sink was constantly littered with cigarette ash and the smell of cigarettes permeated the room. This was a mixed-use space, which was a real challenge. For non-smokers, the smell is excruciating. My throat eventually swelled. It's a good place for smokers and those who are very familiar with Chinese. I wouldn't recommend it to non-smokers or women due to the shared bathroom.
