Hotels with Parking in Lanzhou

For this trip to the Northwest, we stayed at the Crowne Plaza Hotel at both the beginning and end. We stayed in two different rooms for a total of three nights, and it was very comfortable. Returning the car was also convenient. The hotel even upgraded our room type and provided free breakfast for our child. The hotel's beef noodles were delicious, and the freshly squeezed juice was very refreshing.

I arrived at the hotel in the very early morning, so I was not able to check in. But the midnight shift staff 若愚is very caring. He offered me hot tea while I was waiting at the lobby area. Once the sky turns bright, the staff help me to store my luggage so that I am able to go out to exlore the city. The hotel located next to a shopping mall and there's a hypermarket 大润发 at LG. You can get whatever you can imagine and not imagine from there. It was a very interesting supermarket. The hotel is very clean, amenities supplied are more than a normal hotel. Overall the staff are helpful and caring. The room is quiet and sound proof is good. They also offered hi tea, night time noodles and a pack of fruits and snacks. Unfortunately I totally forgot about the hi tea, so I didn't manage to share the experience. In the morning, I need to check out early to join a day tour, the staff manage to pack some snacks for my breakfast. If I ever come back to visit this city, I will certainly stay in this hotel again. This is the first time I stay in Mehood chain, so this gives me more confidence to stay with Mehood in other cities.

This hotel is perfect for a final night's rest after a trip to Gannan. You can sleep in, have breakfast, and then head to the airport for your flight home. The hotel's facilities and decor are quite good. However, because it's right next to the airport, the plane noise is significant, though earplugs are provided. The toilet in the bathroom is electric flush only and doesn't have a bidet function, which is a bit odd – how much different is it from a manual flush? Breakfast is decent, but the ingredients aren't particularly high-quality; the fruit wasn't very good. There's also a safety concern: the family room for three people only came with two fire masks.

The hotel staff were warm and attentive, and the room was clean and tidy. The location is excellent, just a 2-minute walk from the food street. The hotel environment is quiet and comfortable, the front desk service is thoughtful, and it's convenient for getting around. Overall, it was a great stay and I recommend it.

Overall, a great experience. The environment is clean and elegant, and the public areas are tidy and bright. The room layout is well-designed, the bedding is comfortable, and the soundproofing is good. The service is warm, attentive, and responsive. The dining offers a rich variety of dishes, and the flavors are home-style and delicious. It offers great value for money, making my trip very pleasant and comfortable. I will definitely choose this place again next time.

I stayed in this hostel for a total of 5 nights, with two breaks when I went on tours outside of Lanzhou. I have put in reviews earlier, so this is my final for the hostel that had begun to feel like Home. The hostel itself is very comfortable a stay: clean, comfortable wide bed with sliding door for privacy, nice seating areas... It is run by a family who take turns staying over so that there is 24 hour reception. All are friendly and kind, especially the father. The parents don't speak English but you can easily use a translation app; other guests will probably interact with you. The location: it is situated about a 5 minute walk to the Yellow River Tower, and a further 10 minute walk to the Lanzhou Old Street area where there is an amazing array of food options. Just outside the hostel is a Halal (Muslim-run) restaurant called (Ruhua 如华）which the hostel owners say have been in operation for 20 or 30 years. The hand-pulled (手抓) mutton that I had there was fantastic, even though I am typically not a mutton eater --- the taste is a delicate and balanced mix of light spices (I could taste a hint of ginger, for example) and saltiness. And the 八宝茶 is also excellent. A 7 minute walk to the right after exiting the hostel (past the above -mentioned restaurant) to the main road where many buses ply, you will find another good mix of local food options, especially in the morning. The hostel is conveniently located near the Lanzhou West railway station. There is a bus 136 that runs just outside the hostel and gets you to the railway station in 20 minutes. Hope this helps someone deciding on where to stay in Lanzhou, since there doesn't seem such a good range of hostels. I stayed in a 4-person room. The room was minimalist and medium-small, with lockers – basic but comfortable. The common area is stylish and inviting, with plenty of seating, cozy corners, plants, kettles, and power outlets, though it’s on a high floor with a glass ceiling – warm when hot, cozy when cold, and the few fans aren’t always enough. The staff at the desk were friendly, laundry facilities available, though no snacks or cold drinks. The area is urban, among regular buildings, so not particularly attractive from the outside, but within walking distance to the museum and the metro station, with a large supermarket and several food options nearby. Overall, a decent place to stay in Lanzhou.

I read many negative hotel reviews before my trip and was hesitant to book anywhere. I ended up booking this hotel a day before, and it exceeded my expectations! The room was spacious, and the front desk staff were incredibly warm and welcoming – truly outstanding! The cleaning staff were also very friendly. Highly recommend! There's even a robot delivering food, which my child loved seeing for the first time! This hotel is excellent; the service in all aspects is meticulous and thoughtful. It's suitable for a stay, clean, comfortable, offers a great experience, is well-equipped, and provides great value for money. Downstairs, there are plenty of food and drink options, and a supermarket is very close by, right across the street. There's even a McDonald's!

How to put it? Wyndham is considered a quasi-five-star hotel chain in China, and it was my first time staying there, so I was full of expectations. Unfortunately, things didn't go as planned. I booked a high-speed rail pick-up service, but ended up taking a taxi myself. They said they would reimburse the taxi fare, but it came to nothing. The money isn't the main issue; they said the car broke down today, but why didn't they inform me beforehand? I wouldn't have had to wait so long. I didn't even bother booking the departure transfer service after that. I've stayed in so many five-star hotels, and this one had the worst service. The in-room phone was practically impossible to reach, and it took several calls for someone to answer the front desk phone. When I went down to the lobby, no one greeted me or paid any attention. It was quite a disappointment. It's not all bad, though. My child suddenly fell ill, and my request for a late checkout was granted without any problems, which was quite humane. The breakfast was plentiful, and they had a special beef ramen. The restaurant is on the top floor with nice views, which was good. They really need to improve!

It's a great place to stay if you know the location, but it can be a bit challenging for foreigners. Even I, who speak a little Chinese, wandered around for about an hour, especially since I couldn't understand a single word of the local language. Still, I managed to find it, despite the twists and turns. I was grateful for the early check-in. However, my first impression wasn't so positive. I encountered a guest smoking a cigarette in the living room, which was quite casual. Next, the room was so dark that even with the lights on, it felt like nighttime. Nevertheless, the bed was comfortable, and all the amenities were there. There was even a small folding desk. I was impressed by the owner's sense of style. However, the bathroom sink was constantly littered with cigarette ash and the smell of cigarettes permeated the room. This was a mixed-use space, which was a real challenge. For non-smokers, the smell is excruciating. My throat eventually swelled. It's a good place for smokers and those who are very familiar with Chinese. I wouldn't recommend it to non-smokers or women due to the shared bathroom.
