✈✈maermingziyaobaqi✈Since I chose the Crown Hotel in Lanzhou New District for a business trip, I still believe that they are a brand of InterContinental. The check-in staff has a strong sense of service, the hotel facilities are also very good, and the swimming pool is very clean, so it is worth recommending.

AAnonymous UserThis hotel is quite pricey for Lanzhou, but it's definitely worth the money. The location is top-notch, right by the Yellow River, and very close to Zhongshan Bridge, Waterwheel Garden, and the Du Zhe Museum, making transportation very convenient. The hygiene is excellent; everything is clean and tidy. The staff also asked every day if I needed housekeeping, which was a nice touch. The service is also top-tier. When I arrived by taxi, a staff member immediately helped with my luggage, and a robot even delivered my takeout orders directly to my room. The only thing that could be improved is the interior design. For example, the bathroom doesn't have a small sink, and the air conditioning is central, so it can't be adjusted independently in the room. For someone like me who gets hot easily, it wasn't cool enough.

This was a really great stay overall. The hotel facilities are fully equipped, and the location is excellent. What really stood out was the amazing service. RReaichenMy stay didn't start well, but thankfully, it ended on a high note. I chose this hotel for an early rest after a late-night flight, and to avoid any odd rooms, I didn't even book the cheapest room type. However, the room I was assigned, supposedly an upgrade to a Deluxe Room, turned out to be a weirdly shaped corner room (I believe all room 15s in Building 2 have this layout). From the sofa, you couldn't see the TV, and from the bed, you couldn't face it either. The curtains hid an angled, curved glass window, making the actual living area very cramped – I had to squeeze sideways to get from the foot of the bed to the sofa! I called to request a room change, and the AI transfer said it was the front desk. They told me to wait on the line, and then for 10 minutes, there was no one speaking or responding on the other end, nor did they hang up. I ended up having to drag my luggage downstairs to the front desk to change rooms, which took almost an hour in total – definitely not a mood booster. The front desk suddenly got busy with more guests checking in, but the gentleman at the desk patiently served everyone and politely helped me switch rooms. He explained that he wasn't the one who answered my call (I still don't know where my call went or who answered it). The new room was a standard, square layout, with a view of the airport operations area where I could see planes taking off and landing, but without significant noise. As a new hotel, the wardrobe had an odor eliminator. The TV playback often paused (likely a network issue, screen mirroring didn't have this problem). All the staff I encountered were very polite, which I appreciate. The airport shuttle was convenient, and the hotel is genuinely close to the airport – only about a 10-minute walk if you don't mind the sun. Objectively speaking, and not considering the price or the 'room type lottery,' this hotel should be the best option for an overnight layover at Lanzhou Airport right now.

GGuest UserLocation: This hotel's location is a true gem. It's just a two or three-hundred-meter walk to Zhenning Road Night Market. Zhangye Street Pedestrian Street is a bit over 1km away, about a 7-minute bike ride on a shared bike. Xiguan Subway Station and the famous Dazhong Lane Night Market are also right there on Zhangye Street.
Service: The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. They’re always ready to help and even assist with luggage. Vicky and Gillian, in particular, were wonderfully enthusiastic and always smiling; their cheerful demeanor was contagious! The food recommendations were fantastic: Hu's steamed buns, Jinmai beef noodles, Hejiahe, the flatbread across the street, and a cage of steamed buns. Du's grey bean porridge was also quite good. They even have a fridge for storing food and can microwave it for you, which is just amazing – it feels as convenient as being at home.
Stay Experience: The hotel is clean and hygienic, and the bedding is very comfortable. The room is quite spacious and quiet, which is a huge plus! There’s also a laundry room available.

GGuest UserNice hotel next to Tuanjie Xincun Metro Station Line 2, but not up to 5star level. We stayed for 3 nights, as I had prepaid. No English spoken either at the front desk or breakfast cafe. Room was on the 26th floor with a magnificent view looking South. Quiet room, smallish and with little hanging space and no safety box. Breakfast was Chinese and underwhelming. Nice indoor heated pool, but quite crowded with outsiders allowed to swim there. Fantastic gym with everything you could need and all to yourself. Probably stay here again for one night if the price was right. As a day trip, we went to Bingling Si. Take Metro to QiLiHe station on line 1. Walk east past KFC, take the 2nd pedestrian overpass, turn right then left after the touts near the public toilets. This is the Lanzhou West Bus Station. We caught the 9am bus for 23 yuan cash only and only available on the day. At the other end, organised a car for 4 people for 320 yuan. Last bus back at 5:30. It will leave earlier if full. Near QiLiHe station, great coffee place at 76 Jian Gong Xi Jie. Back from the bus station, past KFC, past Metro, left into Jian Gong Xi Jie. Try the 'dirty coffee '

GGuest UserI stayed at this hotel seven or eight years ago, and even though it's an older property, it's still kept very clean and tidy. All the staff I encountered were warm and friendly. It's really close to 'Carb Cross' (碳水十字), so I had Jinqiang one day and Mogouyan Beef Noodles the next. The Chinese restaurant on the second floor is also excellent; both the service and the food quality were great, so good I ate there twice!
