GGuest UserThe room was spacious, and the balcony was also very large with a nice view. The open-air onsen was amazing! The service was excellent. They even had massage devices for body and face. The matcha tea bags were delicious too. I felt a lot of thought went into everything.

GGuest UserOur stay has been nothing short of amazing! We were grateful for hotel shuttle service to the hotel as it saves us the trouble of climbing up slopes with our luggages. When we arrived, we were greeted by the warm welcome of the staff with free drinks provided at the lounge. The Sora Room is well equipped with amenities and comes with the private onsen, for you to enjoy any time. Recommend to get the ice (outside room) for a cool ice coke after onsen. Definitely have to give the Japanese breakfast and Kaiseiki dinner a try. Every single dish is so delicious and palatable. The hotel is located at Kanawa, within walking distances to the popular attractions such as Hells of Beppu and Onsen Museum. Will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who visits Beppu!

TTerenceLawI had a wonderful stay at Apartment Hotel Yaezaki. From the moment I arrived, the service stood out — the staff were exceptionally polite, professional, and attentive, making the entire experience feel welcoming and effortless. One of the pleasant surprises was the availability of free drinks, a thoughtful touch that added comfort and convenience throughout my stay. The onsen with a beautiful view was truly a highlight. It offered a relaxing atmosphere and a scenic backdrop that made each visit feel rejuvenating. My room was spotlessly clean and impressively new, reflecting the hotel’s high standards and attention to detail. It was a comfortable space that made me feel right at home. Overall, Apartment Hotel Yaezaki is a great choice for anyone seeking excellent service, modern rooms, and a memorable onsen experience. I would gladly stay here again.

YYuanyangmamaMy first trip to Beppu was amazing! I chose this newly opened onsen hotel (opened in 2025) with its private hot spring bath, ocean view, and walk-up access to attractions like the ”Sea Hell” (sea hell). It was such a pleasant surprise! Location/Facilities: The hotel is located on a mountain near Tetsuron Onsen, facing the sea towards Beppu Port. The drive up the mountain involves several winding roads – a little thrilling! Surrounded by trees, with only another hotel and a shrine nearby, it's incredibly peaceful. Our upgraded villa (B-2) was very spacious, with three double beds in the bedroom, a Japanese-style room, living room, dining room, kitchen, courtyard, swimming pool (only in summer), indoor and outdoor onsen baths, outdoor sauna, and two bathrooms. The courtyard was very private, but offered beautiful views of the Beppu sea and the steam rising from the numerous hot springs below. Dining: The package includes dinner and breakfast: Dinner is from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM, with a minimum arrival time of 7:30 PM. Both meals offered a wide selection of food of excellent quality, served on exquisite plates. Each person received a freshly grilled Wagyu beef and abalone for dinner. Breakfast items like eggs, bacon, and sausages were freshly made… Service: The hotel responded very quickly via email (in English) provided by Ctrip, informing us of four free shuttle services from Beppu Station at 2:30/3:30/4:30/5:30 PM. We initially chose 5:30, but changed to 4:30 on the day of the visit without issue. The hotel sent a taxi to pick us up. Upon arrival at the hotel, the receptionist in the lobby could surprisingly speak Chinese and patiently explained the hotel's services and facilities to us! In the evening, after soaking in the hot spring in the courtyard, we noticed many guests were wearing their hotel pajamas to dinner – so relaxing! After breakfast, we didn't use the hotel's free morning shuttle service. Instead, we walked down the mountain to Umi Jigoku (very close), took a city walk to the beach (about 50 minutes), and then rode back to the hotel to collect our luggage/to Beppu Station (4000 yen). The hotel mentioned that if we wanted to use the public hot spring, we could use their sister hotel, a 5-minute walk away – maybe next time! The hotel seemed to be quite busy (there was parking available outside many of the courtyards), but most of the staff spoke Japanese/Korean. I noticed there weren't any reviews yet, so I decided to share my experience of this unforgettable seaside hot spring resort!

AAnonymous UserThe room and the Onsen were EXACTLY like those in the listing and were absolutely stunning! The breakfast was delicious and the range more than adequate. The location is good if you drive but is about 1km walk to Beppu Tower and a bit more from the night street. But I’d happily trade that for the spacious room and the wonderful sea and sunrise view.

MM231559****This Hoshino Kai hotel meets the usual high standards of the chain, and its direct ocean view is a big plus. The food, however, was just okay—nothing special compared to other Kaiseki meals I've had elsewhere. My mom even said she wasn't full. The small ice cream was delicious though! The staff's English was pretty good, and they were very enthusiastic when communicating.

GGuest UserThis hotel is an annex of AMANEK YULA-RE, granting guests access to the main building's 16th-floor public bath (onsen) and 17th-floor outdoor infinity pool and Jacuzzi. **Pros:** 1. **Excellent Location:** It's just a 5-minute walk from the JR station, the bus stop for Fukuoka, and the bus stop for the Beppu Hells. The Fukuoka-bound bus station (located near a shopping mall) is also conveniently reachable within a 10-minute walk. 2. **Stunning Infinity Pool:** The infinity pool offers breathtaking views, including Beppu Tower, and is perfect for photos. Unfortunately, it rained heavily during my stay, so it was deserted during the day. The operating hours are quite reasonable, covering most of the day during my visit. 3. **Impressive Lobby & Dining:** The main building's lobby boasts an impressive design. Dining options are available on the first floor, and at 3300 JPY (approximately 160 RMB), the price is quite reasonable, comparable to what you'd expect at a star-rated hotel in China. 4. **Convenient Amenities & Services:** Shower caps and other amenities are available for collection at the front desk. Luggage storage is also provided. 5. **Spacious & Quiet Rooms:** Rooms are spacious. The hotel is quiet, ensuring a very good night's sleep.

MMoon RockThe staff is friendly and speaks English well; the place is quiet and cozy, and the location is perfect. It’s almost a distance to Beppu tourist attractions, especially the Beppu tower and Beppu JR stations. The hostel is also located near the port area, where you can relax and take a break. The hostel also has a cafe, a spacious kitchen, and an artificial hot spring. Although some amenities are not included, you have to purchase them at the front desk, the accommodation cost is relatively cheap, so that’s okay. It's a good thing I have my own towels and other amenities. I will definitely be back here when I return.

GGuest UserThe hotel location is excellent, right next to Beppu Station – just cross the road from the exit. It has its own hot spring, which is a bit small, but guests can use the hot springs at two other nearby hotels for free. Breakfast is also served at one of those other hotels. The room rate is very affordable for Beppu, offering great value for money.
