The hotel is located halfway up the mountain, a bit far from Beppu Station, and there are no convenient facilities nearby. However, the hotel pretty much covers all your needs. The room is spacious and clean. I really liked the combination of a Western-style bedroom and a Japanese-style living room. There are 4 private open-air onsens, all with great ambiance and privacy! They have a happy hour from 3 PM to 10 PM, which is perfect for a relaxing drink after a hot spring bath. Dinner and breakfast were plentiful. It would be even better if we could communicate the portion size of the main course beforehand to avoid waste. Overall, if I have the chance to visit Beppu again, I would definitely come back to this hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at KOKO Hotel Premier Hakata. The location is very convenient, with easy access to Hakata Station and many nearby attractions. The rooms are clean and the hot spring water is excellent! Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and I loved that I could enjoy unlimited beer and drinks. The only downside is that the door is thin, so the soundproofing isn't great. Other than that, everything was perfect.

This ryokan far exceeded my expectations! It's a charming, traditional Japanese inn. The food was incredibly delicious and plentiful, almost too much, actually. The facilities were comprehensive, and it was wonderfully quiet.
