The hotel's location is super convenient! It's right above Jordan MTR station, making it easy to get to Hong Kong Airport, Disneyland, and Macau with various transport options. There's also a Mannings and a 7-Eleven right outside. Our twin room was quite spacious, though the beds were a bit on the smaller side. It came with a makeup mirror and a full-length mirror. Disposable amenities like toothbrushes and toothpaste were provided, plus there's a fridge with complimentary drinks. I didn't experience any discrimination from the staff towards mainland Chinese, and communicating in Mandarin was smooth. The soundproofing isn't great, but luckily, there weren't many guests in the surrounding rooms during our stay, so it didn't affect our sleep. Housekeeping definitely needs improvement though; on our first day, there was a big clump of hair on the sink. Remember to bring a travel adapter for charging, and a power strip would be handy. Very good check in service. We got an upgraded room which was nice as the bathroom was bigger than the one we booked and on a higher floor too. The only thing was the nightstand drawers were filthy. We also liked that there was a scale in the room. Overall, a good 2nd time 2 nights stay again after the first time was in October, last month.
Beside the hotel, there’s s laundromat and a money exchanger, opposite of the hotel, there are 2 or 3 restaurants, I didn’t count and didn’t eat there.

Booked for 3 days and got upgraded to a 1.8-meter king-size bed room. The room was quite spacious, but the bathroom was a bit small – not a big deal given the great location. The decor was exactly the same as in 2015, so the facilities are a bit old, but still perfectly functional. The bathroom had good drainage and plenty of hot water. The long desk offered ample space for belongings. The TV was clear, but couldn't cast. The biggest downside: the hairdryer could only be used in the room, was weak, and noisy. Arriving by high-speed rail, I had to exit Austin MTR Station via Exit F. On the way back, it took about 40 minutes from leaving the hotel to getting through immigration and to the ticket gate. There are a few breakfast places in the alley opposite the hotel. Wellcome Supermarket is much cheaper than 7-Eleven for water and drinks, and you can even use self-checkout on your phone. Avoid those hotels converted from residential buildings; they have low ceilings, feel cramped, and have few elevators. This hotel offers good value for money and I recommend staying here.

Accommodation in Hong Kong is notoriously expensive, so my friend and I didn't have high expectations when we booked this guesthouse, but it completely exceeded them – especially because it was incredibly clean! For me, a room can be small, but it absolutely cannot be dirty, and this guesthouse truly delivered on that front. What's more, the lady in charge was so warm and welcoming. Not only did she store our luggage for free, but she also thoughtfully reminded me that when taking the high-speed rail from Hong Kong, I needed to arrive at least an hour early. If it weren't for her reminder, I definitely would have missed my train! I had no idea that the Hong Kong high-speed rail requires three card swipes and two security checks, and the queues were incredibly long. Even with an hour to spare, I barely made it. On top of that, I bought a lot of last-minute gifts before heading back to Shenzhen, and my luggage was already full, so I was struggling with bags in both hands, looking quite a mess. The lady found me two really sturdy, large bags, which saved me from looking so disheveled and helped me get back to the mainland smoothly. All in all, I highly recommend this guesthouse; I'll definitely stay here again next time!

Moving here from the Prudential Hotel was definitely the right choice; it's a totally different hotel experience in Hong Kong. Although the room is smaller, the design is much more sophisticated, with elegant and rich colors, and the bedding is more comfortable. The lovely lady at the front desk was also very enthusiastic, recommending great places to eat and shop, which really showcased the diligent and meticulous nature of Hong Kong people.

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the subway station, and Victoria Harbour is just a ten-minute walk away. There are many 'cha chaan teng' (Hong Kong-style cafes), pharmacies, and convenience stores nearby, making dining and shopping very convenient. The hotel staff are also very enthusiastic and friendly. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Hong Kong and will recommend this hotel, which offers great value for money, to friends visiting Hong Kong.

had an amazing stay at Four Seasons Hostel! The entire place was spotless—both the rooms and common areas were kept very clean throughout my stay. The location is perfect and made it super easy to get around and explore nearby attractions.
The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with recommendations or any questions we had. Amenities were great as well; everything worked properly and felt well maintained.
I stayed with friends, and we all agreed it was a comfortable, enjoyable experience. While I didn’t try much of the food, the shared kitchen area was clean and convenient for quick meals

Tsim Sha Tsui is still great for shopping and eating. There's a Mannings right by the MTR station for shopping, and a Kam Sau Tong Dynasty where you can buy fridge magnets and toy cars (cheaper and with more variety than other places). I even found a Mister Softee ice cream truck here (I missed it at the Ferris wheel because the line was too long). For food, there's Wah Sao Cafe (always super crowded), but I ended up at Kowloon Restaurant, which was delicious, affordable, and a great value.
The rooms here are generally small, with a 1.5-meter bed and not much extra space. It's manageable for one or two people. Card access to the upper floors feels quite secure. They provide wooden toothbrushes, a kettle, and disposable slippers (they're thin, not as good as those in hotels back home). You'll need to bring your own toiletries as nothing else is provided. On the upside, it's clean, close to the MTR, and safe. Overall, it's decent and worth considering if you don't have super high expectations.
Oh, and out of the three hotels I stayed at, this was the only one that required a HKD 500 cash deposit (or credit card). I only had HKD 400, so they accepted that, and it was promptly refunded upon check-out. All in all, it's above average and much better than many other options. If you're a solo traveler or a couple who doesn't mind a small space, it's a good choice.

GGuest UserLocated in Wan Chai, the hotel boasts a great location and has been recently renovated. The room isn't huge, but it's fully functional and doesn't feel cramped for two people; it's quite comfortable. The soundproofing in the room is also good. One thing I couldn't quite understand is why, during the renovation, they didn't update the charging outlets to be more universal. I still needed an adapter for my Apple devices, and it was easy to accidentally hit the switch, which would stop the charging.

GGuest UserThis hotel definitely exceeded my expectations! For a price over HKD 1,000, I was expecting a tiny room in Hong Kong, but to my surprise, it was a suite. It had a living room with a sofa, coffee table, and dining table, and the bedroom had a super large bed. Plus, all the details in the bathroom were very clean.
The hotel staff were very nice, and their Mandarin was good. Breakfast was semi-buffet style, where you could order one set meal, and all four I tried were delicious. You could even see parrots flying outside the window while having breakfast.
The biggest advantage of this hotel is its convenient location. It's about two bus stops from Admiralty Station (or walkable, really), a 200-meter walk from the Peak Tram Macdonnell Road Station, and within walking distance of Hong Kong Park and Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens. Highly recommend!

GGuest UserThis hotel is located in the bustling Yau Ma Tei district, very close to popular attractions like Mong Kok and Victoria Harbour, making transportation incredibly convenient. You can take the A21 Citybus directly from the airport, and the bus stop is right in front of the hotel. There are numerous 7-Eleven stores and Mannings pharmacies nearby, as well as many cha chaan tengs (Hong Kong-style cafes) for dining options. Victoria Harbour is a straightforward two-kilometer walk away, and the West Kowloon High-Speed Rail Station is also just 1.5 kilometers on foot, passing by the Instagrammable Old Yau Ma Tei Police Station on the way. The hotel facilities are new and very modern. There's a coffee machine in the lobby offering complimentary coffee in the mornings. Both the front desk staff and the housekeeping team are very friendly.

JJingjingpangDuring peak hours, the hotel elevators are quite slow; you often have to wait for 2-3 cycles to get one, and they're small with inefficient dispatching. The soundproofing in the room isn't great; you can hear conversations and doors opening in the hallway, and even the subway or tram at night. The room's amenities are a bit old, but complete, and the shower has great water pressure and is very hot, which is a plus. The hotel is conveniently located, making it easy to get to all the main attractions. The staff are enthusiastic, but they tended to respond with 'no' to any requests I had. 🙂

AAnonymous UserAbsolutely incredible value for money, so much so that it barely feels like a Hong Kong hotel. I booked it last minute at such a low price, so I honestly didn't have high expectations. It was super easy to find after getting off the bus, a very prominent building. The ground floor common area is spacious, and from what I gather, they regularly host various events, giving it a cool hostel-like vibe. Even the hallways are a refreshing green.
The room wasn't as small as I thought it would be, and the view on a clear day was fantastic. The shower in the bathroom was really comfortable.
Just a heads-up, they don't provide toothbrushes or toothpaste, so remember to bring your own, or you can grab them from the vending machine on the ground floor.

LLingchuanwangxianzhiExcellent location! Right outside Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station, and only a 200-meter walk to the Avenue of Stars, Tsim Sha Tsui Harbour, and Victoria Harbour. There are tons of great food options and convenience stores like 7-Eleven and Sasa nearby. The room was clean, well-ventilated, and comfortable, and the price is usually quite good too.

AAlora_7I think the price is quite reasonable. The hotel environment and service are both excellent. It's located by the sea and mountains and is very quiet. After a day out, there was absolutely no noise at night, allowing for a peaceful rest. Plus, the scenery near the hotel is incredibly beautiful, in my opinion. If you have enough time and aren't too tired, you can actually take a stroll down the road inside the hotel grounds; the night views are especially stunning.

GGuest UserThis place is decent. The hygiene is pretty good, though the room is a bit small. That's understandable given that space is at a premium on Hong Kong Island. The price was great during the off-season, especially with fewer people around due to the typhoon. The guy at the front desk was very enthusiastic. It was drizzling all day, and because of the typhoon, the MTR to Hong Kong Island was temporarily shut down. I tried to hail a Didi for ages in the morning; taxis didn't want to go out because of the typhoon, and Didi drivers were price gouging, asking for HKD 300 or even HKD 500. Some even accepted the order but never showed up and didn't cancel. It wasn't even that far. Finally, an uncle accepted the order and showed up in the rain, and he didn't even charge extra! I couldn't believe it, he was a truly honest person. The wind and rain weren't even that bad, and there were few cars on the road. I chatted with the driver; he spoke Cantonese, and we spoke Mandarin, but we could mostly understand each other. Older people are often more down-to-earth. The driver was over 50, born in Hong Kong, with ancestral roots in Guangdong. His daughter is still young. It's not easy for men to provide for their families. We arrived at the hotel quickly, and the fare was HKD 123. We gave the driver a 10 RMB note as a tip to thank him.

GGuest UserTwenty years ago, when I first visited Hong Kong on a tour, I stayed at the Rambler Garden Hotel next door. Back then, this entire complex had just opened, and this area wasn't even on my Hong Kong friend's new map. From my room, I could see the Stonecutters Bridge under construction and the container terminal below. Back then, we had bulky CRT TVs on the windowsills; now, there are flat-screen TVs mounted on the walls.
The hotel is very clean, and housekeeping is prompt and thorough. The room is quite small, which is typical for Hong Kong. The wardrobe and other furniture haven't been replaced in twenty years, and some pieces are showing wear and tear. The mini-fridge, which used to be under the wardrobe, is now on the windowsill. The nightstand, previously between the two beds, has been moved to the side closer to the bathroom. Some of the worn areas definitely need timely repairs.
Tsing Yi is a relatively secluded island, and as one of only two hotels here, transportation relies on minibuses 88F and 88G plus the MTR, which is reasonably convenient. Because of its somewhat remote location, the big advantage is the excellent value for money. For the same price, hotels in areas like Jordan or Central would be even smaller and lack any cabinets or chairs.
WeChat Pay and Alipay are widely accepted in many places, though a few smaller shops still hold out, accepting only cash.
All three meals can be had at the Café de Coral restaurant on L1. There's also a convenient ParknShop supermarket where you can top up your Octopus card at the checkout. On L1, you'll also find a Bank of China (Hong Kong) ATM. You can withdraw Hong Kong dollars directly using any UnionPay debit card; it automatically converts the currency, and I found the exchange rate to be quite good at 0.88. There's a flat fee of HK$10 per transaction.
Twenty years ago, the hotel used to sell Disneyland tickets. Now, it's so easy to buy tickets online via mobile, so that service is no longer offered.
