Nina Hotel Tsuen Wan West

On a business trip, I once again stayed at the Nina Hotel Tsuen Wan West, located at 8 Yeung Uk Road. It's conveniently situated near Tsuen Wan Plaza, Tsuen Wan Park, Yeung Uk Road Market, Tsuen Wan West MTR Station, Tsuen Wan Plaza, and The Mills. The transportation is excellent, and there are plenty of dining and entertainment options! The hotel is divided into high and low blocks, reaching up to 87 floors, making it the tallest five-star hotel in the New Territories. Below the hotel, there's a shopping mall and office space. Inside, you'll find the flagship Chinese restaurant 'Rú', the all-day buffet restaurant Café Circles, and the trendy pastry brand Nina Patisserie. The hotel also boasts a spacious outdoor swimming pool and a well-equipped fitness center, allowing guests to fully relax and unwind. The room size is ample, and basic amenities are comprehensive. Besides local basic channels, the TV also offers cable and satellite TV. However, it's a pity there's no access to streaming platforms like Netflix and Disney+! The bathroom even has a bathtub, which I appreciate for a relaxing soak! Thanks to the hotel's height, you can enjoy panoramic views of Tsuen Wan and the Ting Kau Bridge, which is truly invigorating. The price is reasonable, offering great value for money!

The hotel's service was excellent. I had originally booked a sea-view room in the low-rise building, but it had an accessible toilet that couldn't be opened, which felt a bit strange. After speaking with the front desk, they changed us to a city-view room in the high-rise building, which was much larger and felt very open and bright. The entire room had curved windows, providing excellent natural light. The facilities were very clean, making it a perfect getaway for couples.

The hotel's location is extremely convenient, close to the MTR station and bus terminal. Check-in was very quick. Although located on a lower floor, the room still offers an open city view. The room is spacious and even includes a bathtub, making the facilities comprehensive. I would choose this hotel again next time.

The bathroom design is terrible. Water leaks out when showering, making the floor outside wet and slippery. The shower head is old, dirty, and loose. Overall, the room facilities are poorly maintained and not worth the price.

The phone signal in the room was extremely poor, almost non-existent. Also, the showerhead in the bathroom was fixed and couldn't be adjusted, which was incredibly inconvenient. The toilet flush button was difficult to press. The hairdryer was an old model that required you to hold down a button to use it. I can't believe a large 5-star hotel chain would have such facilities.

This stay exceeded my expectations, highly recommended! The hotel's location is excellent, with very convenient transportation nearby and a wide variety of shopping and dining options. From the moment I entered the lobby, I felt the staff's warmth. Check-in at the front desk was very efficient, and they even thoughtfully upgraded my room. The room was spacious and bright, spotlessly clean, and the bedding was just right – so comfortable for unwinding. The soundproofing in the room was excellent, making for a quiet night's sleep. The bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, and the water pressure was great. Whether for a business trip or a leisure vacation, this hotel offers incredible value for money and is my top choice. I'll definitely choose it again next time!

The hotel upgraded us to a sea-view room, which was really great and made our stay very pleasant. The surrounding area has excellent amenities, including a park, a large shopping mall with diverse food options, and even a playground for kids. We're very satisfied.

Staying on a high floor, the panoramic sea and mountain views from the window are completely unobstructed. Especially at sunset, the scenery is truly picturesque, perfect for travelers looking to relax and enjoy the city's skyline. The staff were also very friendly, and the overall check-in experience was seamless. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tsuen Wan or looking for a weekend staycation!
