"This is a fantastic hotel for families with children. The breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety. The rooms were neat and a good size. We booked a room for three (2 adults and a child) and everything was provided for all three of us: waterpark access, breakfast, towels, water, etc. There's a sofa bed for the child in the room, but we had to pay an extra 1290 baht per day on site for the bedding. The waterpark is decent with plenty of activities for kids. I highly recommend this hotel. We'll definitely be back."

"The location is super convenient, right next to Terminal 21. We took a bus from Bangkok and got off at the North Bus Terminal, then it was just a 10-minute taxi ride to the hotel. We really appreciated the front desk letting us check in early, which saved us from waiting outside. The hotel facilities are excellent, and the staff are warm and friendly. It's also very clean, and the mini-bar is refilled daily with drinks and snacks. Breakfast is served until 10 AM and is incredibly varied and delicious. Highly recommended!"

"Just got back from another stay at Somerset Pattaya, I keep coming back here honestly. Place is always clean, like really clean, you can tell the housekeeping team takes it seriously.
Location is great too, everything you need in Pattaya is close by so getting around wasn't a hassle at all.
Reception staff were super helpful the whole time, anything I needed they sorted out quickly, no complaints there.
Big shoutout to Chatchadopam from housekeeping, she cleaned my room every day and honestly went above and beyond. Small things like that make a stay so much better.
Room itself was spacious and comfortable, nothing felt old or worn out, everything worked fine.
Only thing, and it's not really a complaint, just wish the pool stayed open later than 8pm. Would've used it more in the evenings if it closed a bit later.
Anyway, another great stay, I'll keep booking here whenever I'm in Pattaya."

"We stayed here for a family birthday, but we will never stay here again.
① Poor check-in and check-out operation: Check-in was from 3pm, but we were finally able to enter at 3:30pm. This was despite having an executive suite. The reception told us to wait in the executive lounge, but at the lounge entrance, they asked for our room number and made us wait again because the room wasn't ready yet. At check-out, there was only one lane, and we waited for about 15 minutes.
② Dirty room: I understand that it was busy because it was the last day of a three-day weekend, but there were snacks on the floor and women's hair in the toilet. It was disappointing.
③ Slow service: We requested ice to be brought to our room, but it didn't come even after 20 minutes, so we called reception again. It finally arrived after 30 minutes.
Basically, it doesn't deserve a 5-star rating, and I've come to understand that Amari is not that great.
The difference was even more noticeable because we had stayed at a different 5-star hotel the day before, where the service was excellent."

From the service and environment to the smallest details, everything was impressive. It's safe to say this has been one of the most satisfying resort choices in recent years.
**Service Experience: Warm, Thoughtful, and Welcoming**
Even with a significant number of guests during Chinese New Year, the service team maintained incredibly high responsiveness and patience. From guiding us at check-in to attending to our daily needs, the staff consistently wore smiles and proactively offered help, allowing us to genuinely feel the meticulousness and warmth of Thai service. It's especially worth mentioning that the hotel also created a cozy festive atmosphere during Chinese New Year, making us feel at home even when abroad.
**Breakfast Experience: Exquisite, Diverse, and Daily Surprises**
Breakfast was a major highlight of our stay! Not only was there a rich variety, but the menu changed daily with hardly any repetition. From traditional Thai noodle soup and mango sticky rice to pastries, fresh fruit, and made-to-order omelets, the quality was consistently excellent. Staying for several days, we woke up every morning with anticipation, and our child absolutely loved it too.

The pool and lush greenery were just outside the window, making dining or relaxing at the table feel incredibly open and uplifting. The decorative floral arrangements on the table, the exquisite chandeliers, and the wooden furniture all reflected the hotel's tasteful aesthetic.
* **Hotel Public Areas:** The path leading from the villa to the public areas (as shown in Figure 4) was surrounded by dense tropical plants, like a stroll through a tranquil rainforest, offering great privacy. The hotel entrance at night (as shown in Figure 3) had warm lighting and was shaded by trees, embodying both the relaxation of a resort and the serenity of home.
**Facilities and Details: Quality Online, Meeting All Family Needs**
The villa came with its own pool, and the water quality was excellent, allowing us to jump in and cool off anytime. The kitchen facilities were fully equipped, suitable for simple meal preparation. Overall, it was very well-maintained, with new furniture and bathroom fixtures, and meticulous hygiene. The two bedrooms were thoughtfully laid out, each with an independent bathroom, making it very convenient for families.
**Conclusion**
If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing resort in Pattaya that doesn't prioritize sightseeing, The Gem Pool Villas is definitely recommendable. It might not be right on the busiest beach, but this tranquility, combined with attentive service, thoughtful breakfasts, and a beautiful environment, truly made for a perfect vacation. I would like to highlight the exceptional service I received regarding my special requests for this stay. I had requested a complimentary birthday cake and a pre-booked Pavilion, both of which were handled perfectly and honestly exceeded my expectations.

For the breakfast, I noticed a significant variety of Indian cuisine during my stay. While it was more prominent than usual, it was completely understandable as there seemed to be an Indian group in-house at the time. The quality remained good nonetheless.
Overall, it was another wonderful stay. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for attentive service and a memorable experience.

GGuest UserThis was my fourth stay at The Fifth Jomtien & obviously I would highly recommend it. The rooms are modern, clean & my room featured a kitchenette complete with microwave, medium fridge & even a kitchen sink.
The staff are all smiles (& not fake) and super friendly & efficient. The breakfast, if included, is a buffet style including Asian & Western meal options, as well as an egg station & a full salad and fruit bar to choose from.

The deluxe room features two beds (queen and single) and modern AC, plus large bathtub, working area, robes and large fridge
The pool is clean and well kept
The fitness is small and basic but well maintained and has free weights.
The location is good for those who want to be in Jomtien, close enough to the bars and beach and it’s not too noisy despite being close to a busy road
The most impressive thing about this hotel is the breakfast which is worth opting for. There’s a variety of hot and cold dishes that are changed every day. The hotel clearly prides itself on this

GGuest UserI really like this hotel chain! We stayed at one of their properties in Krabi and now we're in Pattaya. The rooms are clean, and the beds are large and slightly elevated, offering a great view from the window. It's important to know that the windows don't open, there are no balconies, wardrobes, or drying racks, and no traditional buffet breakfast. But we don't need those things, which is why we chose this hotel, as it offers a pleasant combination of price and quality. It's not far from the beach, and there are special walkways from the road. Nearby, there are cafes for breakfast and coffee. Food markets and supermarkets are also within walking distance. Terminal 21 is a short walk away, or about 80 baht by taxi. The gym equipment all works, and there are hardly any people. The pool is clean, and you can play billiards and table tennis. The hotel also has washing and drying machines for guests, starting from 40 baht. Overall, I recommend it!

GGuest UserThe hotel is large and spacious, with a lush, shady environment. The rooms are exceptionally clean. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming, and the service is excellent. The air conditioning in our room was a bit noisy, but when we informed the staff, they fixed it immediately. The swimming pool is huge, and the kids absolutely loved it!

GGuest UserI recently stayed at the Welcome World Beach Resort & Spa in Jomtien Beach, Pattaya, and I'd definitely recommend it.
The hotel is located on Jomtien Beach, just across a small street from the ocean. It's surprisingly quiet despite being in a lively area. The rooms are very spacious, and the twin beds are quite generous, about 1.25 meters wide each, so it didn't feel cramped even with two kids.
The public areas of the hotel are also pretty good. There are three swimming pools, which kept the kids entertained for an entire afternoon. Around the hotel, you'll find 7-Eleven, snack stalls, and plenty of restaurants, making it very convenient.
Most of the guests here are Russian, with very few Chinese visitors. Consequently, the breakfast largely caters to Western tastes, which wasn't quite to my liking.
Overall, for the price, it's an excellent choice, especially for families with two children.

BBulletgreyPattaya is beautiful, and I booked this hotel based on recommendations from Xiaohongshu users. The location is excellent, just a short walk to Pattaya Beach. The stroll from the hotel to the beach is also very scenic. The price was quite cheap too. However, the hotel doesn't provide toiletries, and you're not allowed to bring outside food back to the room. Luckily, there's a 7-Eleven nearby where you can buy any toiletries you need. The front desk staff were very friendly and provided great service.
