Jomtien Palm Beach Hotel and Resort - Family Friendly

The room did not have a wardrobe, only a set of drawers, which was a bit unusual. There was also no safe. The furniture was quite old, and the cleaning was not very thorough. For the price, I expected a better-quality room. The location was excellent, close to the beach and the main tourist attractions. The staff were helpful and friendly.

We Book connected sea view rooms but the hotel gave us building rooms. We requested to change but they said that’s only what they had left. We had to stay in the rooms that we didn’t book as we didn’t have any choice. We paid a lot but we didn’t get what we wanted, it’s such a shame and rooms were horrible quality- we couldn’t use TV, and the flip flops were broken.

Really dated hotel and in need of a good renovation. The pool was nice but hard to see the children in the pool from the lounger area which mean adults need to be in the pool the whole time you cannot supervise from the edge. My son cut his hands on the bridge as there were many sharp edges. The playground and bowling alley is a nice addition. Location is ok, plenty of restaurants nearby.

This hotel is in a very attractive location, and the beach view was fantastic. However, the downside is that the parking lot is small.

Before we arrived at the hotel we tried to call the hotel to confirm if they received my email about the late check in because our flight was at night and we were arriving at morning because we still need to travel from Bangkok to Pattaya. I called 3 times and what I got was phone dropped. The staff is a bit rude and always saying call at 9 am. When we arrived at the hotel a staff was sleeping at the couch and another one sleeping at the counter. When I said check in he doesn’t even check or ask about the booking and still telling me to come back at 9 am. I said I paid already and have my booking stay for 3 nights. He didn’t even bothered to check my booking before saying anything. We came as family, I know it’s different booking of room as it’s shown in the booking however they separated us in different hotel and did not even think that we are family that they might can make better arrangements but offered nothing. To cut that story on The other hand the hotel itself has simple rooms a bit old but it’s comfortable. The pool can accommodate a lot more and the location is nice. Just walking distance to many restaurants and other attractions. Jomtien beach and Walking streets is just 3 minutes away. The view from our room is nice and nice atmosphere. Very live location. I can recommend this hotel for its price and amenities and location, and I just hope they will improve the service quality for better experience.

In short: absolute disappointment. The hotel has two buildings. If you happen to be accommodated in the old one, as I was, you get an old room, with dirty furniture, molded ceiling, and dirty bed lining. Don't count on WiFi. No chance to connect with the Internet. The reception is completely useless. Not willing to help or weekend pretend they are concerned. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Super convenient location to the jomtien beach and there’s convenient stores nearby with lots of restaurants and bars , first time in Pattaya and I didn’t regret this stay . Nice view from the hotel windows to the beach and very helpful staff

I’m staying at the hotel and having a pleasant experience. The room is comfortable, clean, and well maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome. The location is convenient, and the atmosphere is relaxing. Overall, I’m enjoying my stay very much.

Despite a few negative review, we decide to book and stay for 3 nights in this hotel. I must say the hotel is great and suite perfectly for a relax stay near Pattaya.  Room large and clean. The staff always present on the floor and available to change bedsheets if necessary.  The bowling, kids area, snooker and swimming pool are easy accessible and well take care.  The staff great and kind.  Highly recommend
