"We were a large group and booked late, so there weren't many options available, and I didn't have high expectations for this hotel. However, the experience was still very poor.
The hotel's check-in policy wasn't very clear; I couldn't figure out if children staying required an extra charge. So, we just booked five rooms for two nights.
My room was on the second floor and had no hot water, so I had to shower in other rooms. Even then, the water in those rooms wasn't very stable, fluctuating between strong and weak, and hot and cold.
The most troublesome issue was insect bites. There were ants on the bed. Although the staff sprayed insecticide during cleaning, I was still bitten quite badly. For someone like me, who suffers from papular urticaria, it was particularly annoying.
Outside the hotel, there's a convenience store, restaurants, and motorbike rentals. There's also a slightly smaller beach nearby, and the environment is decent. Diamond Beach is about a 10-minute walk away.
In the evenings, the bar outside was a bit noisy, which kept the elderly in our group from sleeping.
Overall, young people with low expectations might consider it. But for families like ours, with seniors and children, you'd really need to weigh whether you can accept these shortcomings."

It's conveniently located just 1.2 kilometers from the pier, and a 5-10 minute drive will get you there.
"To be honest, I'd say it's pretty decent. The price is fair for the room, offering good value for money and no real complaints. The breakfast spread had a good variety. The hotel is located right by the beach. The island isn't very big, so I'd actually recommend renting a scooter no matter where you're staying. I would definitely choose this place again for my next visit."

"Great place on.the water front. The room was a great size. The only thing that let it down was the bathroom and shower really needs attention. Also if you are a light sleeper the A/C unit is very noisy.

"This is a good hotel, centrally located on the island and just a 10-minute walk from the port. There are two 7/11 stores nearby, and across the street, there's a cafe serving delicious local rice and soup dishes. Saikeo Beach is a 3-minute walk away, and other beautiful beaches are within easy walking distance. The hotel doesn't have an elevator, which wasn't an issue for us even though we stayed on the 4th floor. Our room didn't have a clothes hanger, and the wardrobe had an unpleasant smell. Overall, our stay was excellent, and I recommend this hotel."

"The room was beautiful and clean. I got a room next to the Kahe and Sai Kaew beach. The view was beautiful. The accommodation was between Buggy and Sai Kaew Beach Resort, and it was a short walk to a 7-Eleven. Breakfast was a set menu with options to order in advance. You can eat at the cafe or in your room. However, the staff at the cafe and other areas lacked service mind. They didn't smile and greet me. They were either sitting on their phones or chatting in groups. The water and toiletries were insufficient for the guests. The restaurant and cafe closed early, closing before 5 p.m. There was nothing available for drinks or food. The entrance was under renovation, but every time I walked past, the attentive receptionist would come out and tell the technician to stop and let me pass. Thank you.
The air conditioning wasn't cool throughout the room, but overall, I liked the beautiful and complete interior design. The mattress on the large bed was too soft, causing back pain."

"The hotel is new, all the bath accessories are there, no need to bring a bunch of bubbles with you. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, brushes, pastes, cotton swabs. Clean, nice, hot water! Clean bed linen, towels! Comfortable pillows) complimentary upon arrival - chips, hot chocolate) Breakfast is decent - and coffee and juice and water will be brought to you, and food similar to English breakfast. You will be given a voucher for sun loungers!
The location is ideal - the center of all the action, but at the same time quiet and calm at night, you can't hear the music. The only thing that slightly spoiled the impression is the employee who receives guests. We had to leave the island at 16:30, came to extend until 16:00 hotel, translated our request with the help of a translator with sound, since for some reason she could not just read from the screen what was written there in Thai. In general, as it turned out, she nodded to us that we could stay until 4 pm, agreed and announced the surcharge, but in the end we still paid 3 times more than what was announced, since in fact, when checking out, she told us that we misunderstood her) The surcharge for every half hour of room extension is 200 baht. Be prepared that the receptionist simply will not understand you, the dialogue will be difficult. Neither Russian nor English, only Thai with voice acting. Translation difficulties, costs))
But despite this pun with the check-out, we really liked everything and recommend the hotel. By the way, we did not have any neighbors, we were alone, no one made noise, everything is just perfect!"

For breakfast: buffet (watermelon, melon, tea, coffee, juices, cornflakes, milk, green lettuce, cherry tomatoes, white rice, rice with vegetables, with chicken, sausages, fried eggs, white toast, jam, butter, etc.)
We got a room in which the water in the shower and sink did not drain, not comfortable at all. But we lasted two nights) as in other houses - I don't know) Overall, good. We rented a motorbike and traveled around the island: we were on other beaches and at View points. At the very end of the island, there are gorgeous views!"

"It’s an OK hotel. The best and only thing we liked was the cleanliness of room and the very large bright bathroom! And extremely quiet for a good night sleep!
The general cleanliness of the outdoor areas are not kept as clean as bed room! It needs a thourough clean. I understand being on the beach can be difficult to keep on top of it ( sand)! The lobby is dark and not welcoming it’s a really strange design.
The beach is crowded and the beach chairs old and not great( we went next door and paid to enjoy the sun!
In general, I don’t think I ll stay again plus I prefer the quieter area north of the island (Ao Klang etc..)
Breakfast was ok. Variety of dishes but not replenished so you end up with dried up ( macaroni cheese etc….) or others!"

CCooldayThe Samed Resorts group offers the guests a free boat shuttle service to Samed Island (even free car parking), which I find very convenient. The staff helped us loading the baggage to the boat and from the boat to the hotel. Ban Ploy sea is located right next to the pier with a few minutes walk. The check-in went smoothly. The staff was so helpful and friendly. He even offered me an upgrade room with the sea front view for 2 nights. The room was clean and comfy. At the back of the resort is a log house cafe, offering tasty cakes and fancy drinks. I feel really relaxed lying on a private beach. In the evening we were so lazy to go out, just had dinner at the hotel‘s restaurant every night. It was not cheap but everything was delicious. Overall, we are very satisfied. Highly recommended!

NNBWThe journey to reach the resort, from the mainland, is a small adventure in itself but well worth it. We only stayed for 3 nights but it was very enjoyable. The small chalet was perfect for a couple and luckily a short walk from the beach, not too far and not too close. Sun loungers and bean bags were plentiful. Breakfast was good and the staff excellent.

The rooms were fairly basic, not the most comfortable of beds and did not get cleaned during our 3 night stay. Water was provided and towels replaced once, left outside for us to collect. The restaurant was fairly reasonable, music at night. Unfortunately the rooms were very noisy, you could hear the neighbours during the night and lizards on the roof. The location is a lovely beach, not too far to walk on the beaches to tubtim, but a bit too far to walk to the main town.

GGuest UserThe location is really far off. In the last corner of the island. If you don’t have a motorcycle you don’t get around well.
There is a shuttle bus which costs around 120 to get to the main area one way for two, but it isn’t that reliable. It is supposed to leave once per hour at 30min after the full hour but sometimes it leaves 5min early and you are stranded for the hour, sometimes you wait until 45min after the hour.
The friendlieness of the staff was from super genuinely friendly and helpful to „ I don’t give the slightest **** for you“ really depends on the person. Breakfast was good, especially the thai soups.
Eating dinner there is very expensive and not that good. The restaurant location outside is spectacular. With view over the sea in many directions.
The huts where you stay are simply too small. I. Essence only a bed that you can walk around. No desk or something. No shelves or something where you could store or hang clothes. You have to live out of the luggage your suitcase. The issue is : there is only space to have one opened at the time, no space for two. That makes it rather inconvenient. The water in the romm is in glass bottles , but it is actually tab water smells like chlorine. I gor stomach pain drinking only one. We were told if we need drinking water , we must use the overpriced water from the minibar.
The beach wasn’t that great. You don’t walk on sand and there was lots of rubble in the water, not pleasant to swim. I would not go there again

We recently stayed at Samed Grandview Resort and had a wonderful experience overall. The resort's location is stunning, with beautiful views and a relaxing atmosphere that made our stay enjoyable. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring all our needs were met.
However, we felt that the beach entertainment could use some improvement. While the idea of music on the beach is great, the selection and execution were somewhat lacking, making it a bit boring at times. As professionals in the entertainment industry, we believe there are ways to enhance the experience for guests, such as incorporating a more diverse music selection or live performances.
We truly enjoyed our time here and would love to see the entertainment aspect elevated for an even better guest experience. Thank you for considering our feedback! 🙏🏻

NNareshLocation is beautiful and the toilets were clean. That's about as positive review as I can give. We ordered 2 Thai dishes and a portion of spring rolls that showed up same time as the bill. The lady who took out order wasn't even listening to us. We pointed out dishes on the menu to confirm our choices but she could not care in the slightest. Our 2 corn chowder soups did not arrive but instead 2 Changs did that well didn't order which we sent back. Our mains arrived after a long time of waiting and they were the sorriest looking mains I've seen in my 2 trips to Thailand. Absolutely tiny portions. And tasteless. We've been coming to Thailand for some while and this was the worse food we've ever been served. We asked for the bill to see we've been over charged by 200 bht. 3 members of staff were around the table trying to sort it. No apology. No enquiries to why were hadn't eat the food. We ended up telling them the food was not good and they couldn't care. No customer service at all. Horrendous place and an awful first impression to Koh Same

CcrazyfxGuys! If you're expecting three stars, breakfast in bed, or anything else that might be missing, don't hold your breath! In 3 minutes on foot, you'll find a heavenly sea, kinetic sand, eternal summer – simply everything you need for happiness. The rooms are a bit run down; we only had two outlets in the whole room. They change the bedding and bring plenty of bottled water. However, they didn't even empty the ashtray for four days, even though there was cleaning. For three out of four days, they couldn't fix our air conditioner; that's just how Sabai is. They came, looked, and told us to turn it off for an hour. But why come to such heavenly places and worry about the room? It's just for sleeping and the toilet! By the way, the flow-through shower gets boiling hot, and the hot water is excellent. For normal, resilient souls, this is a great option if you're coming for the sea!
