We chose this hotel based on various reviews. We were checked in around 1 PM, as the hotel wasn't full due to it being off-season. We got bungalow A22. The path to it was littered with branches and huge fallen acacia pods (we arrived after three days of heavy rain), and water was constantly flowing down the steps from the upper levels. We booked a standard bungalow, happy that it was advertised with all the essentials: air conditioning, a ceiling fan, TV, toiletries, etc. In reality, the bungalow was spartan, built on stilts, similar to others in its row. If you have noisy neighbors, you won't sleep. Inside, it genuinely had everything needed: a double bed, a small fridge, a tiny bedside table, a three-tiered shelf for belongings with a kettle, cups, glasses, and 3-in-1 coffee, a wall-mounted rail with 6 hangers, a large sink, soap, and a bathroom with a shower (shampoo and shower gel on the wall, hot water available) and a toilet. Everything was clean. The bungalow itself was made of planks. The windows and door had metal screens to keep out mosquitoes, but there was a huge gap under the door screen, allowing mosquitoes to get in. You couldn't leave the door open. There were many mosquitoes. On the small terrace, there was a table with an ashtray and two chairs.
Since we stayed after the heavy rain, bullfrogs were croaking very loudly all night.
Regarding breakfast: it's advertised to start at 7 AM, but in reality, there were no main dishes at 7. There were only fruits, vegetables, dumplings, and sausages. About 20 minutes later, they slowly brought out soup, rice, and strange hot dishes, mostly vegetable-based, with meat being scarce. But there is a coffee machine, which is a huge plus. Overall, breakfast was very average, in the 'you won't go hungry' category, but they say this is common in many hotels during the off-season. There were only 10 or 12 sun loungers on the beach at most.
In general, after breakfast, we decided to change locations and had no regrets about it. The hotel left an impression of overall neglect. We definitely won't be coming back here.
