Samed Villa Resort ★★★
Set right on the white sands of Ao Wong Duean, this resort combines classic Thai-style bungalows with lush gardens and direct beach access.
Sai Kaew Beach Resort ★★★★
"Perfect hotel and nice intelligent staff, couldn’t like it more. Thanks for everything see you next year"
Malibu Samed Resort ★★★
"Great location on Vongduan beach. Very spacious , clean bungalows; nice staff; amenitiesare basic but in line with other similar hotels in koh Samet. A reading light would be nice. They explain at check in that room cleaning has to be requested by hanging the sign, you might have to draw the cleaners attention then they will clean the room. Breakfast is ok, mostly Thai options ; a couple of sweets and more choice of fruit would be nice. The only real minus is the rock hard bed, same as sleeping on the floor. They should not allow boats to land at the beach among swimmers, there is a jetty few meters away... better arrange a porter service for those who don't want to carry their bags."
Samed Cabana Resort ★★★
Perched by the turquoise waters of Ao Phai, this rustic-chic resort features charming thatched-roof cabanas, beachfront dining, and is just a stone's throw from the nightlife.
Sawasdee Coco Resort ★★
"Honestly, I'd give this place a perfect score. The room is beautiful and well-designed, with easy access from both the beach and the main road. You can walk to 7-Eleven in just two minutes. The room was clean and smelled great, and the walls were thick enough that I didn't hear any noise from the next room. The air conditioning was wonderfully cool too."
Tonsak Resort ★★★
"Had an amazing stay here! The place was very nice and clean, surrounded by beautiful nature and a peaceful atmosphere. The customer service was very good and honestly amazing like never seen before. The staff were so friendly, helpful, and made everything feel comfortable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable experience!"
Stellars Samed Resort ★★★
"Loved everything from start to finish! A pleasant, clean, and comfortable hotel with a pool. Room was cleaned daily, but you need to hang the sign for service. It's a 5-minute walk to the beach, and there are various cafes nearby. Two 7/11s are also within a 5-minute walk. Really enjoyed it!"
Suncloud Koh Samet ★★
Situated on the serene eastern coast of Koh Samet, this beachfront retreat offers modern rooms with sea views and easy access to Ao Wong Duean’s calm waters.
Samet Lucky Resort ★★★
"Everything was good, except for the air conditioning. It kept alternating between hot and cold, and the airflow was hard to adjust. The air blew directly onto my head all night, which was very uncomfortable."

Choose the Perfect Koh Samet Stay for Your Travel Needs
Samed Town
"The bed is made of construction pallets with a mattress on top. This means mosquitos hide under the bed and ants live there. After two nights, there wasn't a single spot on my body that wasn't bitten. Everything is so itchy! The breakfasts are cool and tasty, with three different options to choose from. The internet is fast. Overall, it's tolerable, but for this price, you can find better places on the island."
Baan Mulan
"Excellent hotel, right in the heart of everything happening on the island! The beach, bars, restaurants, 7-11, and motorbike rentals are all within walking distance! The room has a balcony, hairdryer, desk, shampoo, soap, and hot water! The bed is comfortable! The air conditioning is quiet! The staff speak excellent English, and there's a very friendly lady at reception!"
Sinsamut Koh Samed
"The hotel is just right on the beach. The staffs are friendly and helpful But, we have found difficulties on toilets that might need several times of flushing ."
Samed Big Cape Resort
"The location is magnificent and the beach is beautiful, though it can get a bit crowded during peak season (December/January). However, our bungalow was very dirty (cockroaches, centipedes, lizards, etc.). We had to change rooms in the middle of the night after spotting a rat running under our bed. The staff offered us another room with no sea view, but it was very dirty, smelled strongly of sewage, and had a toilet that didn't flush. It's a shame the rooms need to be better maintained because the location is otherwise very beautiful."
La Lune Beach Resort
"average for this price but our room was full of dust and sand when we move in"
Samed Hideaway Resort
"The hotel is clean, and the rooms are spacious. The pool is also large and well-maintained. It's not far from the pier and has good cafes and restaurants nearby."
Vongdeuan Resort
"Came with the kids, the environment is just average. The facilities are quite old."
Ao Cho Grandview Hideaway Resort
"Stunning environment, good breakfast, it’s quiet, relaxing and chill, suits for a chill holiday"
Kala Krang Nueng
"I really liked the hotel's location; everything is close by. There was no street noise in the room, and there were no insects either. The air conditioning worked perfectly; it wasn't stuffy. The breakfasts were delicious, with a good selection. It's also convenient that you can rent a bike at the hotel."
Le Vimarn Cottages & Spa
"This is my third time at Ao Prao Beach, and it's my favorite beach. No matter which hotel I stay at, I always make sure to come here for their Italian food. The staff even remembered us, which was a lovely surprise. The breakfast was also delicious. However, the ordered items arrived after we had finished eating. While tasty, the long wait was a bit disappointing. There are no toothbrushes among the room amenities, so it's best to bring your own. There were people smoking on the beach chairs, and the smoke was drifting over due to the wind. When I asked a staff member if they could smoke in the designated smoking area, the staff member pointed at me and said, 'That person is complaining about you.' I just wanted to avoid a problem and asked the staff to tell them there's a smoking area they should use. Being pointed at made me feel very uncomfortable. Other than the beach staff, everyone else was very friendly and accommodating."
Paradee
Pamper yourself with a visit to the spa, which offers massages, body treatments, and facials. You can soak up the sun at the private beach or enjoy other recreational amenities including an outdoor pool and a steam room. Additional amenities at this resort include complimentary wireless internet access, gift shops/newsstands, and wedding services.
Ku at Sea
"The hotel is two minutes from a 7/11. But if you're coming to see the island's beauty, it's better to choose a less crowded beach. It's more secluded and the price will be cheaper. We were checked in two hours earlier than expected, so thank you so much! What I didn't understand is that we paid for two nights. But breakfast was only available on the first day. We didn't receive a breakfast voucher for the second day. The breakfast was okay. The room isn't new, but it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. One downside: there's no shower enclosure. Everything, including the toilet, toilet paper, and so on, is covered in water. The shower hose is short, so it was impossible to rinse off the sand at the beginning of the bathroom (it's brought from the beach into the shower)."
Tubtim Resort
"We stayed for a week in April, in standard room A32. Everything was great. We came for a relaxing vacation, and that's exactly what we got. The hotel's beach was fantastic for me. A morning dip in the sea, then breakfast, and then just chilling on a sun lounger all day. The breakfasts were decent, with soups and a coffee machine offering bean coffee. We ate at the hotel restaurant twice in 5 days; it was pretty good and reasonably priced. You can also walk to 7/11. Vendors walk along the beach selling fruit – we discovered pomelo, which was delicious! Overall, I 100% recommend this place."
Urban Room Samed
"Absolutely fantastic and friendly welcome at reception. A very helpful man. I was allowed to borrow a towel because I couldn't check in yet, and they also offer scooters for rent. Very convenient. The room was also very nice, very modern and minimalist. The only thing I would have liked to see improved was the cleanliness of the room, especially the floor. It's very dirty; walking barefoot is unpleasant!"
Samed Seaside Resort
"I don’t typically write bad reviews or just any reviews in general but man this hotel really did a great job on disappointing their guests Hotel: First day: When we entered the room, first thing we saw was extremely yellow mysterious water in the toilet. Smelled awfully humid and felt like it hasn’t been cleaned for a long time. There is no hand soap, toothpaste/brushes, or any hygiene necessaries even the shower gel was out which clearly tell you that they do not check. Couldn’t even get our hands washed… Then next thing is the small side bed, I personally don’t understand why they designed it that way but there is a bunch of DUST and HAIR and DEAD BUGS. We needed to ask for a new clean but I think it should be a standard clean routine before every guest checks in… Then next thing, we opened the fridge, tried to put our drinks in then we saw an opened bag of mango for some reason. Second day: We asked for a clean up for the room when we were out exploring the island. Came back with the pillows being thrown onto our suitcases??? I don’t find any reason to make it make sense The beach: I checked in and wanted to just chill the f out on the beach. The second I stepped on the beach, I got poked in the foot by some glass. Then Ilooked around, glass was everywhere on the beach. BE CAREFUL if you’re taking your kids there! In summery, we love the island it’s very quiet and peaceful and beautiful! But this hotel does not respect their guests. They don’t have a hygiene standard. One good thing about it is that it’s close to the pier and the main street and relatively quiet area. BUT The beach is really the worst in the whole island. I would not recommend it and I think it’s overpriced compared to other hotels we looked at. Reconsider before booking"
