Samed Villa Resort ★★★
Set right on the white sands of Ao Wong Duean, this resort combines classic Thai-style bungalows with lush gardens and direct beach access.
Sai Kaew Beach Resort ★★★★
"The room and service were decent. Perhaps with the rising prices in Thailand, it doesn't stand out as much anymore. To get to and from the hotel from the pier on the island, you'll need to take a songthaew. It's definitely more convenient to rent a motorbike if you're staying on the island, you can even ride to some small beaches in the south to relax. The hotel's restaurant has a nice ambiance and is good for a fancy meal. I'd recommend a street food stall I found – for about 200 baht per person, including four or five beers, the food was delicious. They even sent a small cake on my birthday night."
Malibu Samed Resort ★★★
"I thought I'd booked a triple room, but the hotel gave us a quad room instead, which was great value for money. The breakfast was pretty average overall, nothing particularly special, but acceptable for the price point. The hotel is actually by the sea and there are even performances on the beach."
Samed Cabana Resort ★★★
Perched by the turquoise waters of Ao Phai, this rustic-chic resort features charming thatched-roof cabanas, beachfront dining, and is just a stone's throw from the nightlife.
Sawasdee Coco Resort ★★
"Honestly, I'd give this place a perfect score. The room is beautiful and well-designed, with easy access from both the beach and the main road. You can walk to 7-Eleven in just two minutes. The room was clean and smelled great, and the walls were thick enough that I didn't hear any noise from the next room. The air conditioning was wonderfully cool too."
Tonsak Resort ★★★
"Fantastic! The environment is comfortable, the hygiene is spotless, and the bed is super comfy."
Stellars Samed Resort ★★★
"Loved the location! The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and breakfast was good."
Suncloud Koh Samet ★★
Situated on the serene eastern coast of Koh Samet, this beachfront retreat offers modern rooms with sea views and easy access to Ao Wong Duean’s calm waters.
Samet Lucky Resort ★★★
"Everything was good, except for the air conditioning. It kept alternating between hot and cold, and the airflow was hard to adjust. The air blew directly onto my head all night, which was very uncomfortable."

Choose the Perfect Koh Samet Stay for Your Travel Needs
Baan Mulan
"It was perfect"
La Lune Beach Resort
"The hotel itself and its location are very good. However, I must honestly say I would have liked a bit more friendliness from the staff. Especially at breakfast, the ladies were more occupied with their phones than with what they were actually there for. The catering is appropriate for the hotel's category; there's nothing to complain about there."
Vongdeuan Resort
"Bra läge vid strand. Tyvärr lite dålig service vid restaurangen."
Tubtim Resort
"Great stay except except very poor reception manager. Will NOT return due to his very poor customer service."
Samed Hideaway Resort
"Excellent! It's close to the beach and has a swimming pool for the kids. Getting there was easy, and the breakfast was varied and delicious. The accommodation was peaceful, but the air conditioning in the room was very noisy because it's old. Everything else was great, and the service was good too. It's perfect for a family vacation where you truly want to relax. There's not much traffic passing by, so it's incredibly quiet."
Ao Cho Grandview Hideaway Resort
"Beautiful location. Friendly staff. Well worth the cost.☺️"
The C Samet Beach Resort
When you a stay at The C Samet Beach Resort in Rayong, you'll be on the beach, just steps from Khao Laem Ya - Mu Ko Samet National Park and Ao Wong Duan Beach. This beach hotel is 5.6 mi (9 km) from Suan Son Beach and 1.9 mi (3 km) from Pineapple Beach.
Samed Cliff Resort
"The grounds where we stayed were, in my opinion, the most well-kept and beautiful. Our bungalow had two bedrooms, and they changed towels and brought water every day, and swept the floor. Breakfast was okay. But this hotel isn't worth the money."
Kala Krang Nueng
"Good hotel with breakfast."
Le Vimarn Cottages & Spa
"The hotel's overall environment is great, perfect for a vacation, and the room privacy is excellent, very comfortable. The drinks at the restaurant are also delicious, and you can see many giant clams and fish on the beach right outside. The only downside is that the chlorine in the swimming pool is too strong! My child's body, inner thighs, and neck all broke out in rashes. My child swims frequently, and we've never encountered this at previous hotels. Even my friend developed scattered red rashes after swimming for just half an hour."
Paradee
Pamper yourself with a visit to the spa, which offers massages, body treatments, and facials. You can soak up the sun at the private beach or enjoy other recreational amenities including an outdoor pool and a steam room. Additional amenities at this resort include complimentary wireless internet access, gift shops/newsstands, and wedding services.
Ku at Sea
"We stayed at this hotel for two nights. The location is great, but be careful when booking rooms. It turns out the cheapest room (called "standard") looks cool in the photos, but it's actually a windowless bunker. 😂 There's a tiny window that doesn't open and overlooks the stairs behind the building. When someone climbs up, they constantly peek through this tiny window, so we stayed with the curtains closed. There's no ventilation, and when you turn on the air conditioner, it blows right into your head. Our towels weren't changed or the room cleaned even once. But we're not prideful people; we changed our own towels and fetched our own water. And if you're worried, the toilet and shower in the bathroom aren't separated, so you can wash yourself while sitting on the toilet. 😂 Overall, the hotel itself is not bad, and the breakfasts are okay. But when booking, book a deluxe room and you'll be fine; they have windows overlooking the backyard and common hallway. But I wouldn’t go back a second time if I had other options with windows)"
Urban Room Samed
"Absolutely fantastic and friendly welcome at reception. A very helpful man. I was allowed to borrow a towel because I couldn't check in yet, and they also offer scooters for rent. Very convenient. The room was also very nice, very modern and minimalist. The only thing I would have liked to see improved was the cleanliness of the room, especially the floor. It's very dirty; walking barefoot is unpleasant!"

"The room and bed were clean, but the bathroom had an odor and the air conditioner was leaking. All the staff were very lovely."
