What an elegant hotel! I particularly loved the color scheme chosen for the decor; the gold and brown series really highlight a sense of luxury while maintaining harmony. The location is impeccable, with the pedestrian street and Qinghui Garden just a short walk away, and plenty of eateries nearby offering a wide array of traditional delicacies. The parking lot has ample spaces, which is a great plus for travelers driving their own cars.

The king-size room was spacious and bright, exactly as depicted in the Ctrip photos. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered an expansive city view. Although it faced a main road, the soundproofing was effective once the windows were closed. The elevator didn't require a card for either going up or down; I think it should require a card for upward travel to better ensure the safety of the apartment residents.

The service was excellent throughout my stay. The reception staff 🥰 Miss 植敏霞 and everyone were very friendly, helpful, and professional. They made me feel welcome and were always ready to assist with any request. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience and would happily recommend this hotel.lovely thank you gift from the hotel . This time, I got a complimentary room upgrade, which was a nice touch. Just a 5-minute walk from the hotel is Florence Town Outlet, perfect for families who want to shop without any hassle. The hotel's overall decor is grand and stylish, with a spacious and bright lobby. The facilities are top-notch, including a complimentary 24-hour gym, self-service laundry room, and multi-functional business meeting rooms. The breakfast buffet on the second floor offers a wide variety of fresh and delicious food. The front desk service was professional and efficient, and both check-in and check-out were handled quickly. The room was comfortable and cozy, with soft bedding, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a great night's sleep. Whether you're transiting via high-speed rail or enjoying a leisurely shopping trip at the outlets, this is a top accommodation choice. I'll definitely choose this hotel again when traveling to and from Guangzhou South Railway Station, and I've already recommended it to my friends!

XanaDeluxe Hotel Foshan Danzao — A Genuinely Great Stay with One Notable Flaw As someone who spent most of their trip based at the hotel, I can give a pretty thorough take on what it’s actually like to live in this place for a few days. First impressions The lobby sets the tone immediately. It’s clean, well-presented and the staff are genuinely professional. As an English speaker with only basic Mandarin, I was a little nervous about communication, but the front desk team went above and beyond with translation and made me feel completely at ease. That kind of hospitality is hard to fake. The Room My room was impressively clean overall. The only thing I’d flag is the carpet, which felt like it could use a deeper steam clean. Nothing alarming, and perfectly fine with slippers, but worth mentioning. The air conditioning though? Absolutely elite. Strong, reliable and a lifesaver. Facilities The fifth floor amenities are a real highlight. The gym has brand new equipment, fresh towels and complimentary water ready to go. I spent some solid time on the cardio machines and had zero complaints. The laundry room is also genuinely impressive — four washers, four dryers, plenty of seating, steamers and a dedicated ironing area. Very thoughtfully set up. Food The hotel has several dining options on-site. I tried the dim sum and it was solid. Good variety, good quality and a nice atmosphere. The One Thing That Needs Work Wi-Fi. For younger travellers especially, reliable internet is non-negotiable. Whether it was for remote work or just streaming, the speeds were consistently disappointing. Upload and download were both underwhelming. My cellular signal wasn’t great either, but I’d expect the hotel Wi-Fi to compensate for that, not add to the frustration. Final Verdict This is a hotel that genuinely nails the hospitality side of things. It’s clean, the staff are warm and professional, and the facilities are well above average. Sort out the Wi-Fi and this is easily a five-star experience across the board. I’d absolutely come back next time I’m in Danzao.

I never imagined Foshan had such a hidden gem of a riverside hotel! 💯 Service: Attentive to every need From the moment I walked in, I felt warmly welcomed. Both the concierge and front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic. Since it was my birthday, I had a few special requests, and the staff remembered them all and executed them perfectly. 🎂 Birthday perks: For my dad's birthday, they arranged a room with a balcony. The room decoration was very thoughtful, and they even kindly offered complimentary breakfast, which wasn't originally included – truly heartfelt generosity. 🌃 Room: The riverside balcony is an absolute winner My favorite part was definitely the balcony! It offers unparalleled views directly overlooking the river. During the day, you can watch the shimmering waves, and at night, the twinkling city lights. Sitting on the balcony and feeling the breeze was incredibly therapeutic. After checking out, I realized I'd forgotten something, and they kindly arranged for it to be couriered to my home. Kitty and Ms. Wu – truly memorable service! I chose this hotel after seeing positive reviews, and although I initially planned to stay just one night and try another place, the service was so exceptional that I extended my stay for another night! The service, views, and attention to detail were all top-notch. This was an absolutely flawless stay.

The 13th-floor dome-shaped heated pool, large gym, and steam room are shared with another property, but the pool's night view is absolutely stunning and a major highlight of this hotel. 3. **Spacious Rooms:** Rooms start from 40 sqm with floor-to-ceiling windows offering city views. There are no bathtubs, only showers. Each room includes a garment steamer, and the bedding is comfortable. Some room types come with a balcony (which requires staff to unlock). 4. **Great Location for Guangfo Area:** It's a short 10-15 minute taxi ride to Zumiao Temple and Lingnan Tiandi. Getting to Shunde for food is also convenient, making it ideal for a one-night stopover during a self-driving tour of Guangdong. 5. **Self-Service Laundry:** A self-service laundry room is available, which is very convenient for long trips.

The moment I stepped into the hotel lobby, I was greeted by a lovely fragrance; the aroma was delightful. Check-in was very quick, and the front desk staff were quite knowledgeable about the surrounding area, so you can ask them for restaurant recommendations. The hotel hallways had warm lighting, and the rooms were spacious and bright with plenty of hot water. Parking was convenient, though there isn't an underground parking lot.

I took my child out for Children's Day. Facilities: To be honest, the play facilities are a bit old, but there are many food options inside, and the prices are cheaper than X-Long. We chose the stargazing room, and my child loved it, but I hope the cleanliness can be improved. Some hidden corners weren't cleaned properly, and there was a lot of dust in the room. The hotel package included access to the amusement park, but many facilities required additional payment, which felt a bit like a rip-off. What I did enjoy was the swimming and hot springs. It feels like Changlu really wants to be a resort, but perhaps due to the current economic downturn, it hasn't been able to maintain itself well. Overall, it was still an enjoyable trip. I hope Changlu improves!
