"This hotel is one of the closest to the Dujiangyan Scenic Area. I even captured the 'blue tears' from the hotel corridor window! There was a leak in our room, but the staff came to fix it right away and moved us to a new room, which was quite spacious. Yami provided excellent service. The hotel breakfast was fantastic, offering not only regular Chinese and Western options but also Sichuan specialty 'Bo Bo Chicken'... The vegetables and fruits were very fresh."

"Traveling with kids, the most important things are cleanliness, hygiene, and good parking, and this place excels at all of them. The room view is also absolutely stunning. The chairs and sofas in the room are super comfortable; I even considered buying the same swivel chair! The shampoo and shower gel are amazing; it's the first time my kids asked me to buy hotel shampoo to take home. When I asked the hotel staff, they were very patient and helped me find out. It's also just a short walk to the old town. Thank you to the hotel and staff for giving us such a pleasant travel experience!"

"We were a group of 8 adults and 1 child, and we booked a package for a three-day, two-night stay. The hotel is excellent; the lobby's high ceilings and overall ambiance are definitely five-star quality. It's truly a great alternative to Songpin (it's right across from Songpin and shares the same lake view). The elevator access to the rooms requires a key card, which is a nice and secure feature. The rooms are very spacious, and it seems all of them have balconies. There's a mini clothes rack on the balcony, and with the sun coming out around 6 AM in summer, the view is beautiful! The hotel's hot spring can get a bit dirty when it's crowded, but the men's swim trunks sold at the registration desk are reasonably priced. For other things, you can order takeout. The package included an amusement park (similar to Happy Valley), a water park, and a snow park, all about 700 meters from the hotel – just an 8-10 minute walk. All three attractions are great fun! There are some height restrictions for children, so it's best if your child is at least 1.3 meters tall to enjoy most of them. If you were to buy tickets separately, it would be very expensive, so the package is definitely worth it! There's also a large shopping mall near the hotel where you can find places to eat. Finally, I want to specially commend the hotel staff who assisted our family, ranging from a 67-year-old elder to a 7-year-old child: **Xiao Xiao from the Guest Services Center:** Professional, dedicated, and promptly resolved our issues. She didn't intrude on guests but was always there to help when needed, which was excellent! **Concierge Department - Xie Yuhang:** This young man was very observant. He saw our abundance of luggage and immediately helped us load it onto a cart. After check-in, he even helped us take it to our room and was very polite throughout. It's clear that the hotel's concierge service training is top-notch! **Front Desk staff who checked us in - Ming Hong (female) and Wan Xinyou (male):** They were thoughtful enough to arrange adjoining rooms for us, registered our activity tickets, and patiently answered all our questions (it was a busy day with a group check-in). It's precisely because of your professional, step-by-step service that our entire family, young and old, had a wonderful and comfortable stay. My parents and niece were still talking about returning to Steigenberger on their way back to Chengdu! We trust Steigenberger, we love Steigenberger, and Huazhu Group is indeed a great brand!"

"I was extremely satisfied with my stay in Dujiangyan! The hotel has an excellent location, close to the Darongcheng shopping district, making it very convenient for dining and shopping. It's also very close by taxi to the South Bridge and the Blue Tears scenic area, saving time and effort. The room facilities were new and clean, meticulously cleaned, with no unpleasant odors. The bedding was soft, and the soundproofing was good at night, allowing for a good rest after a day of sightseeing. The front desk staff were friendly, quick and efficient in check-in, and responsive to any issues. Overall, it offers great value for money and is suitable for sightseeing or a short vacation. "We drove from Chengdu to the hotel... The journey was smooth, and the hotel was easy to find (just follow the navigation). I booked two king-size rooms with breakfast on Trip.com for around 560 RMB (checking in on Friday, checking out on Saturday). At check-in, the staff upgraded our room to an executive room! ♥️♥️♥️♥️ The hotel is huge and beautifully decorated inside. There's a bookstore, tea house, KTV, and gym (I saw it advertised but didn't go). There are also plenty of dining options: a buffet and Chinese restaurants (Deyuan and another one). You really don't need to leave the hotel to have a good time. 😉 Of course, our main reason for choosing this hotel was the outdoor hot springs. (It's a bit crazy to go to hot springs in this weather, to be honest 😅). Their hot springs don't open in the morning 😔, only from 2 PM (I thought it would be like Huashuiwan, where you can soak in the morning) until 10 PM. There are many outdoor pools to choose from, such as tangerine peel, rose, ginger, and mineral water pools... quite a lot (the names might not be 100% accurate, but they're close enough). The water temperatures also vary, from 35-40℃. I really think soaking in the hot springs here would be incredibly comfortable in spring or autumn. 👍 Soaking in the summer is definitely quite an experience! 😅 Another great thing about the hotel's hot springs is that you can change in your room or near the pools. It's very convenient to shower, wash your hair, and blow dry after soaking. The hotel even thoughtfully provides spin-dryers (so your swimwear isn't dripping wet) and plenty of disposable bags for wet clothes. Overall, these small details were very well considered (there's even warm water or lemon water available near the hot spring pools). The hotel's breakfast is from 7 AM to 10 AM, and the variety is incredibly rich! Super delicious! 🤩👍 All of the above was positive... now for some suggestions! 😂 1. The hotel doesn't have an indoor heated swimming pool, or even a deeper outdoor pool for swimming. Most of the pools are more like splash pads for children. 2. The 'robot delivery for in-room amenities' service is basically just for show. It's a nice idea, providing convenience for guests to scan a QR code and order daily necessities like water (4 complimentary bottles daily), slippers (2 complimentary pairs), etc. It seemed like a fantastic service, something I hadn't seen in a hotel before. But after you scan and place an order, it just says 'preparing' and stays that way until you check out. When you try to cancel, worrying the robot made a wasted trip, and call the customer service number provided, no one answers. 📞 I think the hotel's intention and creativity are good, but they should follow through. Or, as the front desk suggested, perhaps sometimes too many items are ordered for the robot to deliver. If that's the case, they could put a notice on their mini-program interface, so guests would be aware when placing additional orders. 😂 From initial excitement... to 24 hours later with no news. 😂"

"My stay at Shanghe Chenyue was absolutely perfect! The hotel has a light luxury and elegant feel. The room was spacious and clean, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. It's just a few minutes' walk from Lidui Park and Guanxian Ancient City, making it super convenient to explore the night views of Nanqiao. The front desk service was gentle and attentive, and the facilities were complete with great value for money. "I had a wonderful stay at Starway Hotel Dujiangyan and would happily stay here again. The location was excellent. It was within easy walking distance of Guanxian Ancient Town, the South Bridge (Nanqiao), the Dujiangyan Irrigation System, and the lively streets filled with local restaurants, cafés, and shops. There were also convenience stores nearby, making it a perfect base for exploring Dujiangyan on foot. The ladies at the front desk were exceptional. Although we didn’t speak the same language, they were incredibly patient and friendly, using a translation app to communicate with me and always making sure I had everything I needed. The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable. After spending the day sightseeing in the summer heat, it was such a relief to return to a room with excellent air conditioning that kept it nice and cool. Unfortunately, I had to leave early and missed breakfast, but the staff kindly offered to prepare a takeaway breakfast for me, which was a thoughtful gesture and very much appreciated. They also looked after my luggage for the entire day after I checked out, allowing me to enjoy more sightseeing before my train without having to carry my bags. The genuine kindness and hospitality of the staff made my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Starway Hotel Dujiangyan to anyone visiting this beautiful city."

"The parking lot isn't directly connected to the hotel. The hotel itself is new, very clean, and well-maintained. The location is great, convenient for getting around, and offers a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle. We booked a suite with a courtyard, which was very pleasant. The only minor hiccup was that after checking out and heading to the parking lot in the morning, I realized I forgot to ask the front desk for the parking card. I had to go back to get it. It would have been helpful if the front desk had simply asked if I needed the parking card during check-out. Just a small suggestion, otherwise, everything else was excellent."
