I took a didi from a previous hotel to get to this one. To be honest, that day I was particular stressed, and I didn't realise the stairs that were directly in front of me lead to the entrance. My Chinese is not the best, but communication with staff was still fairly easy, especially through WeChat. I stayed in the Hobbit Cabin, which was very cute. The aircon worked very well (it was around 40 degrees that day), so I was incredibly grateful. The only thing I noticed that wasn't 100% positive was the fact that the bed wasn't the most comfy, but besides that, the room was spacious, clean - except for a massive spider web in the corner of the room next to the bed haha - I even used the gramophone which I originally thought was there purely for decoration. I liked the songs on it a lot.
The highlight of this place though, is unequivocally the scenery and nature. The views were absolutely breathtaking throughout all hours of the day. There are lots of fur friends as well that are very friendly and welcoming. I befriended a raccoon (I think the raccoon just wanted to steal my phone and eat my nails), and it was the cutest moment of my life. I saw a majestic deer, and a not-so-majestic goat that decided to eat my dress. I will mourn the loss, but I hope the goat at least thought it was tasty.
And, of course, the hot springs were absolutely delightful, and while they are outside, every cabin kind of has their own, and most of them are a bit hidden and out of plain-sight. My one was especially hidden, so it was nice and private.
Overall, this beautiful place helped me replenish my stress, ground myself, and take a much needed break where I could remove myself from the world. If I ever have the opportunity to return to Dujiangyan and/or Qingqang Mountain, I will — without a doubt — return to this sanctuary.
