Modern business emphasizes ”replicability” as the best business model, but I believe that sometimes the irreplicable aspects are the most valuable and the core reason why a company or shop can operate for a long time. For example, the unique ”human touch” of the ”Several Mountain Retreats” where we stayed this time. This trip to Qingcheng Mountain was an ”escape” from the hustle and bustle of the city and work. We chose to come to the mountains on a weekday to avoid being disturbed, but we were also worried about being bored or lonely. ”Several Mountain Retreats” dispelled all our concerns, allowing us to truly experience the peaceful and leisurely life in the mountains. Upon arriving at the guesthouse, the two owners, Colin and Xiaoxiao, welcomed and treated us like old friends, with just the right amount of courtesy. They responded promptly to our small needs. The guesthouse has free self-service laundry; on the first night, my boyfriend forgot to take his clothes to the dryer, and when he came downstairs, he found they were already dried. They remembered our details and prepared extra towels and cups for us. In the evenings, sitting in the courtyard enjoying the breeze and rain, they kindly asked if we wanted some fruit. When we couldn't get a taxi back after eating nearby, they even came to pick us up and ”take us home.” And so on. Every day, the owner's handmade steamed buns and coffee were served for brunch. As a steamed bun and coffee lover, I was ecstatic!!! I usually eat steamed buns and coffee for lunch at home every day, and I never thought I could maintain my old habits even in Qingcheng Mountain. This is truly wonderful! The cat ”Little Tiger” greeted us every day and wanted to be petted. The other cat, ”Little Tabby,” was a bit cautious, but I managed to pet him a few days later (hahaha). I'm a seasoned cat lover, so having cats makes me especially happy. And I'll always remember that night listening to the rain in the courtyard with the two cats. The overall decor of the guesthouse was clearly thoughtful, like a secluded paradise (I even saw a blue dragonfly!). The rooms were very clean, with harmonious colors, and fresh flowers, greenery, and bergamot potted plants everywhere. Every time I stepped into a room, I quickly felt relaxed. The layout was very convenient; for example, the light switches were placed very logically, so I didn't have to walk extra distances to turn the lights on or off. Everything was disposable, so hygiene wasn't a concern. They even thoughtfully provided makeup remover wipes. This is the longest review I've ever written—it's all about love and gratitude!! Fully charged back to work now, thanks Colin and Xiaoxiao!!!

Facilities: Smart features, projector, smart toilet Cleanliness: Superb Environment: Extremely elegant, with a private hot spring, and even aromatherapy service in the rooms. Service: Attentive, meticulous, and thoughtful. Welcome fruits: Good quality fruits, and all snacks are from Sam's Club. If you're visiting Qingcheng Mountain, I highly recommend Hegu Shanju at the foot of the mountain. Every detail here is wonderfully thoughtful and comforting. While its elegant environment is its least remarkable advantage, the service and various wellness programs are its true highlights! The fatigue from a day of hiking was completely cured by the sound therapy session before bed and the private hot spring in the room. The next day, I wanted to try the incense ceremony class, but the teacher wasn't available. I was a bit disappointed, but a staff member specially found the butler to arrange an incense ceremony experience for us. This unexpected warmth left a lasting impression! The little one made a fruit shell wind chime at the handicraft workshop, my mom practiced Baduanjin with the instructor, and the three of us even painted mandalas to pass the time. Everyone, young and old, had their own fun. It's rare to find a guesthouse that excels in environment, dining, and unique experiences, with the owner's thoughtfulness evident in every corner. I hope this wonderful place remains for a long time; I will definitely return to this mountain retreat on my next trip to Chengdu.

The location is excellent, especially waking up to a view of lush greenery from bed. I have to particularly highlight their Chinese food, which was delicious. We ate three dinners in the ancient town. Our first was here. For our second, my husband insisted on trying a highly-rated place he found online, but... not a single dish was good. So, for our third dinner, we came back here. We had the cured meat platter three times, it was especially good here, and the 'fish擺擺' (a local fish dish) was also tasty. We just didn't get around to trying the hot pot, so we'll have to come back for that next time. **Facilities:** Pretty good, with smart toilets and a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. **Hygiene:** Considered quite good for a guesthouse. **Environment:** The location is superb, and the atmosphere both upstairs and downstairs is great. Kids can play in the small river, and if adults don't want to be in the sun, they can have tea at the bar on the ground floor. Sitting at the bar in the evening is very pleasant, and the prices are reasonable. **Service:** Excellent! The owner contacted us in advance. When we arrived, someone specially helped park our car, and when it was time to leave, we just let them know and they brought the car back out. It's perfect for lazy people, haha, no need to walk far for parking or be out in the sun.

The room was very tidy; it's a shame I didn't get any photos because my little one immediately ran to the tent ⛺️. There's a buffet breakfast every morning, which I think ends before 10 AM – not very friendly for late risers like me! 🥳 There's also afternoon tea 🫖 every day. (Just a side note: since our child is quite young, we had both lunch and dinner at the hotel restaurant every day), and the food was really delicious. There's also a play area for children on the first floor, and you can even get game tokens from the front desk! (Our child was too young, so mom and dad played for him). On the day we checked in, the lady at the front desk gave our baby a mosquito repellent bracelet, which we absolutely loved. All I can say is: we'll meet again soon! (literally: 'Mountains and rivers will meet, we'll see each other again.')

Breakfast had a long service time and a great variety, especially a noodle dish that was incredibly delicious. The service attitude was excellent; after check-in, they provided a travel guide and food recommendations. In the evenings, they'd send WeChat reminders about complimentary late-night cold drinks, which was very welcoming and thoughtful. There's also an open-air balcony laundry room on the 5th floor, all very well-equipped. I would definitely come back again.

The hosts were incredibly kind and even gave us a ride to the Qingcheng Mountain entrance and the Qingcheng Railway Station. If you’re planning to hike up Qingcheng Mountain, I totally recommend staying here. 1.The room was super spacious and looked just like the pictures. Everything felt fresh, clean, and super comfy. 2.The bed was really soft, and all the amenities were modern and well thought out. 3.The staff were friendly, helpful, and just really lovely overall. 4.Great location – close to Qingcheng Station and the mountain. 5.Breakfast is included, but sadly we woke up too late to try ๆit. Next time for sure! We did have lunch there though, and it was delicious. 6.Honestly, everything was great. Totally worth every penny.

Very warm, friendly, and helpful reception. Room is extremely spacious. Thanks to a complimentary upgrade, we’ve enjoyed the private hot spring (tub). The host also helped us with booking of tickets to Panda Valley. We left our luggage to visit Qingcheng Shan, and when we returned to pick them up before heading to Chengdu, we were gifted oranges and water for the ride. Breakfast is very food - the widest spread of selection amongst the many hotels and guesthouses we have stayed in Sichuan. A good base to explore Qingcheng. Highly recommended.

Located between the front and back peaks of Qingcheng Mountain. This summer has been incredibly hot. Aside from the heat, there aren't any major issues. The chirping of cicadas fills the air from morning to night. The rooftop view is truly relaxing, far removed from the hustle and bustle of the city. It's a tranquil retreat.

The hotel environment is very nice, the room facilities are good, and the staff are very attentive and warm. The only downside is the location is a bit out of the way. Driving is fine, but there's a flight of stairs to the lobby from where you park, which can be inconvenient with luggage. However, the staff will help you with that once they realize it. It would be great if there were luggage carts available.

1. The hotel's external facilities are nice, with a small swimming pool and a relaxation area. The hotel is located halfway up the mountain, and the pool water was still quite cold at the end of August, so I didn't go in. 2. The hotel rooms are simply styled, but still a bit cramped, especially the bathroom. 3. On rainy days, the local government, considering safety issues on the mountain, may suddenly close roads, which will prevent you from returning to the hotel after going out. Please confirm this with the hotel before booking, and be aware of any subsequent solutions and potential financial losses. Note: Rainfall is frequent in the Qingcheng Mountain area. I don't know at what rainfall level will trigger road closures. That night I received a yellow heavy rain warning, but the rainfall was very light for the first half of the night, and most of the time it was just drizzle or no rain at all.
