Holiday Inn DUJIANGYAN ANCIENT TOWN by IHG

Lily and Luna provided fantastic service, setting the perfect tone for our wonderful experience in Dujiangyan. The hotel is well-managed, clean, and hygienic. For a stay in Dujiangyan, Holiday Inn is definitely the top choice.

The hotel is clean, has a great atmosphere, and excellent service. It's also close to attractions. Ms. Lily, a staff member, was especially nice~

Holiday Inn Express Dujiangyan Ancient City offers a fun and enjoyable stay with a self-service claw machine on the first floor. The overall environment is comfortable, and it's conveniently located for sightseeing.

Location: Excellent! Right outside the high-speed rail station and very close to Dujiangyan. Cleanliness: Terrible! The hallway carpets were filthy, covered in sunflower seed shells, which already set a bad impression. The room floor was just as dirty, and the fridge was sticky, clearly not cleaned. There were obvious stains on the sheets. The hotel's explanation was that they were rust stains that couldn't be washed out. Facilities: The window was broken and wouldn't close. Service: The service was good. They responded promptly to all requests and resolved issues, like changing the linens and fixing the window (but what guest wants to be the hotel's 'quality control'?) Breakfast: Satisfactory. The breakfast was plentiful and tasted great, the only redeeming quality of the hotel. Overall, it seems like hotels in tourist areas don't lack customers, so they just get by.

We took our kids on a trip to western Sichuan, and Dujiangyan was our last stop before heading back to Chengdu. The Holiday Inn really lived up to its reputation. A big thank you to Leah and Andy at the front desk for their warm and enthusiastic service. The kids were finally back in the city and were very happy and content.

The hotel's location is excellent, right across from Lidui Park train station, making it very convenient for travel to and from Chengdu. It's only a 10-minute shared bike ride to the Dujiangyan scenic area, and the popular Panda attraction is just a 5-minute walk away. The hotel service was superb. There was a minor issue with our room, and they upgraded us to a suite. A big thank you to Andy and Lily for their thoughtful service!
