You can walk to Zhongshan Square, and a short taxi ride will get you to Venice Water Town and various shopping malls for just the starting fare. Whether you're sightseeing by the sea or buying local specialties, it's very easy. The subway station isn't far either, offering convenient public transport options. The room was clean and tidy with a simple yet elegant design. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The bathroom had a wet and dry separation, and all the toiletries were provided. Housekeeping was meticulous and thorough, with no unpleasant odors. The room offered ample space, and facilities were well-maintained. Hot water supply was stable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The front desk staff were warm, polite, and efficient with check-in and check-out. They patiently answered all our questions, providing attentive and thoughtful service. There are plenty of dining options nearby, making meals very convenient. Staying here with elderly parents and children meant we didn't have to constantly travel back and forth, saving a lot of commuting time. Whether we were heading out during the day or returning after watching the Donggang fountain show at night, getting back to the hotel was always a breeze. Overall, the value for money is excellent, and our stay was peaceful and comfortable. If I visit Dalian again, I'll definitely prioritize this hotel, and I recommend it to all friends traveling to Dalian."

"I was quite satisfied with this apartment hotel. The location is very convenient, right next to Kaidan Plaza, with direct access to the mall from the fourth floor – perfect for lazy people like me. The space is also larger than the hotel I stayed at in Xinghai, as it has a living room (a one-bedroom, one-living room setup), a kitchen, a washing machine, and a refrigerator, making it ideal for longer stays. I've already recommended it to friends. My only minor issue was not knowing where to dry clothes, as there wasn't a clothesline in the bathroom. Perhaps business was booming, but housekeeping was very slow. On our second day, our room still hadn't been cleaned after 3 PM. After that, we just requested fresh toiletries and skipped the full cleaning since we were only staying two nights anyway. Also, check-out is strictly at 12 PM; they even called us at 11:50 AM to hurry up. It would have been great if we could have extended check-out until 2 PM since our flight was in the evening."

"This hotel is conveniently located near the Sanba Plaza station, where you can catch the 201 tram for easy access to attractions (the tram runs about every 30 minutes). There's a large supermarket directly across the street and a local market behind the hotel. Taxis are also readily available for getting around. The front desk staff, especially the young lady, was incredibly helpful and charming!"

After a short walk, you can catch the Route 201 'Centennial Special' tram, which adds to the experience. There are also many local specialty restaurants nearby. Overall, everything else was excellent."

"I came to Dalian this time for a football match. I hadn't stayed at this hotel before, but after this visit, it completely exceeded my expectations! First off, the location is on par with hotels like Orange and Atour, but the price is competitive and the service is just as good, if not better! Secondly, the hygiene is excellent, and the cleaning staff are very polite and helpful. The front desk staff were patient and well-mannered, even reminding me that the mini-fridge drinks were complimentary. Although I didn't drink any, it shows their attention to detail and service awareness! My comment about it exceeding expectations isn't just talk; usually, you get what you pay for, but this place offers a service experience that goes beyond its price point."

"New InterContinental hotels usually offer a good stay, and this one was no exception – the AC temperature was perfect, and the lobby scent made us feel right at home. The location is decent, but what they call a 'deluxe sea view room' is actually more of a partial sea view; you have to press your face against the window to even catch a glimpse of the ocean. I had also read reviews about early housekeeping and unauthorized entry when I booked, but I optimistically thought a new hotel would address that feedback. Unfortunately, I experienced it firsthand. On Saturday morning, around 9 AM, there was aggressive knocking at my door. When I woke up startled and asked who it was, there was no reply. Instead, I heard someone trying to open the door with a card, and after failing the first time, they tried again. Honestly, it was a bit frightening. I told them to come back later to clean, but not long after, there was more loud knocking. I then said to come in the afternoon. However, after going out for a while and returning, no one had cleaned the room by 4:30 PM. We had to call the front desk before heading out for dinner to get someone to do a quick tidying up. They didn't replace the empty toothpaste, and after moving the bedside table during cleaning, they didn't put it back in its original spot. Overall, even though it was peak season, paying 1300 a night for this kind of unprofessional service was quite disappointing."

"The location is great, making it convenient to get anywhere by taxi. Although the subway entrance is nearby, it doesn't have an elevator or escalator, so you have to climb stairs – something to keep in mind if you're traveling with elderly family members. I originally booked a Huazhu or Atour hotel nearby, but my family prefers to eat breakfast at the hotel, so I switched to the InterContinental. It's definitely an older hotel, and you can still see its former grandeur. The doorman was excellent; he always helped open doors and handle luggage when our car arrived. The front desk staff were very thoughtful and kept helping us change rooms to meet my family's preferences. The only minor inconvenience was the additional security deposit required upon check-in. The room itself was very clean, but it lacked modern amenities like smart devices or a smart toilet. The TV was small and not high-definition, and the curtains looked quite old. On the positive side, the shower pressure was great and the water was hot. Having a bathtub in the room was a nice touch, perfect for a relaxing soak after a long day. The bedding was soft and comfortable. The windows couldn't be opened directly; you had to call a staff member, but once open, you had a view of Friendship Square. The hotel breakfast was quite good, with a wide variety of options. Many dishes were beautifully presented, like my favorite Eggs Benedict and the sea cucumber and rice dish. There are many great small restaurants nearby, and you can discover quite a few good ones just by walking around the area."
