The view is amazing! You open the window and there's the ocean right there (I highly recommend watching the light show from your room at night). Going downstairs takes you straight to the beach, and it's convenient to get anywhere from here. The location is absolutely superb. The decor is elegant and understated, and the bed is super comfortable. The staff thoughtfully provided food to feed the seagulls and tools for beachcombing. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Xinghai.

Family sea view room, with a king-size bed and a sofa bed, perfect for families with older children. The sea view from the balcony is absolutely beautiful. In the evening, the hotel organized a bonfire party and fireworks display, which the kids loved. It's very close to the beach, making it convenient to take children there. The hotel also provides sand-digging tools. Every staff member is dedicated; even the cleaning ladies in the hallway greeted us warmly. The breakfast buffet offers a good variety. The dinner buffet is a bit pricey, but the food quality is excellent. The staff at the buffet restaurant are all very nice, welcoming, and service-minded. Overall, a great experience!

It was very nice and quiet. Close to the beach and restaurants were just across the street. Golden pebble beach was 5 mins walk away. I wonder why Golden Pebble beach isn’t so lively on Dragon Boar festival. There were things to do but the shops near the beach never opened. But it was okay as we enjoyed just taking a walk and we liked that it wasn’t so crowded. Can hang near the beach at night in peace. Maybe buy some fireworks and light it up yourself. Also, we thought the service in the hotel needs to improve when it comes to giving customers what they need in the room. We asked for water but it was never brought to us. We just bought water by ourselves. Good side: the receptions can speak English. The place itself is like a mini mansion. European style kind of houses. Inside a gated community with orange roofs. Very pleasant and quiet.

The scent experience at Atour Hotel Dalian North Station Huanan Square is truly a highlight. As soon as you step into the lobby, you're greeted by a subtle, premium golden aroma that's pleasant and not overpowering, creating a wonderfully comfortable ambiance. The restrooms also have a fragrance, completely eliminating any unpleasant odors and keeping them fresh and clean. Even the laundry room has its own unique scent, ensuring the washing and drying area feels fresh and never damp or stuffy. Throughout the entire hotel, from the lobby to the public areas, the aromatherapy is consistently well-distributed, offering a warm and long-lasting fragrance. The moment you enter, you can instantly relax. The attention to detail is truly impressive, making for a really great stay.

I stayed here many years ago, and the experience is as excellent as ever. I was at 'X' hotel across the street for the past two days, and moving here is a huge contrast. Ultimately, the service industry is all about soft power. When issues arise, it truly tests a hotel. The one across the street handled problems by simply shrugging off responsibility. But this castle hotel truly embodies the Marriott system. They are responsible, accountable, warm, and thoughtful. From the concierge to the front desk, and even the manager's approach to problem-solving – everything is highly professional.

The room was a bit small, but the cleanliness was acceptable. I got a free upgrade to the 6th floor with a nice view! The hotel offered a complimentary beer, and bottled beer could be taken back to the room. I opted for draft beer, which had to be enjoyed on-site at an outdoor restaurant open from 6 PM to 10 PM. I arrived a little after 8 PM, and even though it was summer, the sea breeze was wonderfully cool. There was also a resident singer, creating a fantastic atmosphere! The hotel's back exit leads directly to Happy Coast Gate 4, with Gate 5 to the right and Gate 3 to the left. Plus, there were plenty of free fireworks displays by the sea to watch!!

The room is beautiful, well-equipped, and the cleaning service is very thoughtful. The front desk is on duty 24 hours a day, and the service is very timely! The breakfast is rich and there are many varieties. I stayed with my children for four nights. The children cried when they left. I love this hotel so much! The surrounding area of ​​the hotel is very convenient, with various types of restaurants, street barbecues, snack shops, supermarkets, everything you need, especially convenient!

Now that my trip is over, I still want to review my stay. I chose this hotel because it was already in my favorites when I decided to visit Dalian. I picked it primarily for the scenic views, and indeed, the hotel's location and the room's view were quite good, and the staff service was okay. However, there were a few aspects that were rather mediocre. Firstly, the mattress and pillows. After a five-hour drive, I didn't get that comfortable, refreshing feeling when I lay down. The mattress even felt like it had a springy texture. For someone like us, who just wanted to relax at the hotel and explore a bit, this significantly impacted our travel experience. We stayed for four consecutive days, and every day felt like an endurance test; I even considered switching hotels for the last two days. Secondly, the shower. The overhead shower didn't work, so my 6'3” partner had to use the handheld showerhead, which was quite low, even for me. More importantly, the water temperature was unstable; for all four days, it kept fluctuating between hot and cold. Since showering isn't exactly the time to call for assistance, I just had to bear with it, dodging the water when it got too hot or too cold. Thirdly, breakfast and meals. Given the hotel's somewhat secluded location, I suggest they improve their dining options. On our first day, we had planned to enjoy a nice dinner, but there really weren't many choices. Also, for a resort hotel, breakfast ending at 9 AM is far too early. Even budget hotels like Hanting and Atour now serve until 10:30 or 11 AM. There were also some minor issues, like running out of complimentary water in the room. When we asked for more, the water provided wasn't the same brand as the original. Honestly, how much cost can they save by doing that? But it certainly detracts from the guest experience. I had initially hoped to make this hotel my go-to choice for future Dalian vacations, especially since it has its own small beach. I hope the owner collects guest feedback and focuses on optimizing the actual experience, especially considering the price point. This stay was definitely not as comfortable as the two days we spent in Shanhaiguan.

The ambiance here is elegant and atmospheric. Personally, I really love it; it's a prime example of getting great value for your money. Definitely worth recommending, don't hesitate, just go for it at this price, the value for money is guaranteed. Trust me on this, anything Peter recommends is a must-try, and I wouldn't recommend anything that wasn't top-notch, hahaha 😄

The hotel on the golf course feels that it is mainly prepared for guests who come to play golf overnight. It is written as a five-star, but the facilities are actually a bit old. Facing the side of the course, the view is invincible, it is worth a trip for one night alone. The price is also very reasonable. The manager is very enthusiastic. Breakfast is a set meal, relatively simple and tastes good. The room is large, with a balcony and a bathtub. There is free bottled water, because it is a small bottle, so four bottles were given. Later, two bottles were sent. Insufficient: 1. The hot water flow in the shower is too small and the water temperature is low. The traffic below is a bit noisy in the morning.
