The hygiene wasn't great. While the kitchen is convenient for washing fruit, there were no utensils or plates to borrow. I suggest removing some of the unnecessary cabinets to create more space. The bed was comfortable, and the staff were very friendly, which is a plus!

I'd stayed at an Atour 3.5 in Qingdao before, so when I saw this new Atour 4.0 opening in Dalian in 2025, and it was close to Dongguan Street, I booked it well in advance, thinking Atour's service is always great for a trip. I had high expectations, but the actual stay was a bit disappointing. 1. I booked a room without breakfast. Last year, during the off-peak season in September at the Qingdao branch, they directly offered complimentary daily breakfast for two throughout my stay, which was a great experience. This hotel only offered one day of complimentary breakfast for two. I tried the coffee machine in the public area downstairs both morning and evening, but for three consecutive days, there was no milk, so I couldn't make coffee properly. The self-service beverage experience was poor. 2. The room hardware was brand new, and basic cleanliness was acceptable. However, there's still a lot of room for improvement in the maintenance of public facilities and service details. The cleaning staff came daily during my stay and did clear the trash, but they only re-made the bed simply, and visible hair on the bed wasn't cleaned. 3. The soundproofing in the room was poor; I could clearly hear noise from next door. On the last night of my stay, the TV inexplicably turned on by itself in the middle of the night for some unknown reason, severely impacting my sleep experience.

The location is excellent, right opposite Venetian Macao, and it's not too far from either the airport or the high-speed rail station. The hotel's decor feels more like an apartment, which I wasn't too fond of. Also, the bathroom in the suite's small room had a foul odor, and if multiple people showered, we had to wait for hot water, which also didn't flow consistently. One detail that immediately put me off upon check-in was an unidentified object on the bedsheet in the small room. Thankfully, the staff were quick to change it. What I was most satisfied with at this hotel was probably the service; the staff were very enthusiastic and responded quickly to any requests.

The hotel facilities are brand new, clean, and quiet. It's conveniently located with easy access to transportation and plenty of great food options. There's even a morning market nearby where you can experience local culture and buy specialties. They offer free umbrella rentals on rainy days, and the TV allows for screen mirroring from your phone. The mattress is very comfortable, just the right balance of soft and firm, and the hairdryer is powerful and efficient! There's also a self-service laundry room, which is super convenient! The front desk even upgraded my room for free! The only minor issue was that the shower drain was a bit slow; by the second night, after showering for about five minutes, the water started to pool around my feet. It definitely needs some clearing!

The Luxury Collection Hotel, The Castle, Dalian is truly as magnificent as its reputation suggests! Its unique castle design makes for fantastic photo opportunities. Our sea-view room was spacious and bright, with incredibly soft and comfortable bedding, ensuring a wonderful night's sleep. Dansey was very enthusiastic and thoughtfully provided tips on local attractions. The made-to-order breakfast was exquisite. The hotel is also conveniently located near Xinghai Square, making it easy to stroll along the beachfront. Overall, our stay was comfortable and reassuring, with impeccable service down to the smallest detail. It’s the ideal choice for a vacation in Dalian and definitely worth revisiting!

Maybe i was highly expecting for a hotel lime others Hard Rock Hotel. But this one is just okay. My room is ocean view but its not a private beach for the hotel. Cant swim at the beach. But many activities that you can do on it. The breakfast was great. There are so many selections that i can eat for a Muslim. The room is clean with full amenities. Btw , at night i ordered Fish&Chips & also brownies with icecream.But it so bland. The fries not cooked well & the brownies is not hot & hard. Not recommended. They also have live band at night. The water pressure in the room also low.

Value for Money:★★★☆☆ * The spectacular location justifies part of the cost, but improvements in cleanliness, balcony comfort, breakfast variety, complimentary beach activities, and dining value would greatly enhance the overall guest experience. Would I Recommend It?✔️ Yes The breathtaking beachfront location and incredible views make this hotel worth considering. With a few improvements in comfort, cleanliness, breakfast options, complimentary recreational activities, and pricing, it would provide an even better guest experience.

Jennie provided excellent service, and check-in was quick and efficient. The hotel is in the city center, and our room overlooked Dalian Labor Park, making getting around very convenient. The front desk even upgraded us to a deluxe suite for free, which was absolutely wonderful. We were extremely satisfied. It definitely improved our impression of Dalian.

This was my second time choosing this hotel for a layover because it's close to the airport. Last year's stay was great, the price was reasonable, and the receptionist was very friendly and attentive. This year, I booked a standard double room. When I arrived, the receptionist said the window was an interior view window facing the corridor. Since I need a window in my room, I asked how much an exterior view window would cost. I think booking directly through Ctrip usually costs an extra 40+ RMB. Of course, I didn't expect the hotel to upgrade for free, so I asked the receptionist how much extra it would cost. She looked at the computer screen with a calculating expression and said, ”Add 99 RMB.” I said, ”Oh? Isn't it only 40+ RMB?” Then they asked for my ID. I didn't say whether I needed it or not. Seeing that I didn't react, they didn't look at me, still looking at the screen, and said, ”Okay, here's 49 RMB.” I said, ”No need. The original room is fine.” This is supposed to be a proper hotel, but upgrading a room is like a free market? The TV remote was covered in a thick layer of dust, probably because it wasn't used often and the staff hadn't cleaned it properly. I pressed a button and the TV turned on, but then the remote stopped working. I opened the back cover and saw that the batteries were chewed up and bent out of shape – I wonder how long ago it was? Was it a previous guest or a staff member? My flight was at 7:30 the next day, so I asked the front desk for a 5:00 wake-up call. The receptionist was very responsible. The hotel doesn't offer airport shuttle service before 7:00, so I hailed a taxi outside the hotel. It was easy to get a taxi.

I originally booked a king-size bed room without windows, but when I checked in, the front desk lady upgraded me to a family room for free. It has an extra-large double bed and a single bed. The room is large and well decorated. It is very close to Xi'an Road subway station. The price/performance ratio is great. I will stay here again next time. I highly recommend it.
